Which Legend Should Return at the Moment?

Ken Shamrock. He was a very good peformer in the ring, and his attitude was amazing. He was good on the mic, and could easily fight for the WWE title. Allthough, probably only the IC title for now. I think he would be open to a return, but only if the money was right. But yeah, good peformer, good on the mic, gets the crowd going. Thats all I can say.

The Rock. Without question. Had more mic skills then all the guys who pick up a mic today combined. He could perform in the ring, fans loved him.. Just the best.

The most electrifying superstar in Sports-Entertainment.

Jake "the snake" Roberts

Only if he's clean, would make a great manager, or a GM of say.... ECW. One of the best.... No THE BEST on the mic, and he never yelled or use stupid catch phrases (If you smell what I'm cooking) would also make a great trainer for the younger guys, not on the physical aspect, but the pyschology involved in wrestling, which is what IS missing in the WWE.

Bringing back Legenda to a long-term will do notihng but damage the company. WWE is in shit form at the moment becuase theyre making the not so legends big ones and building up talent. I surley dont want to see anyone from the past with the Rock and Austin as excpetions.

The New Age Outlaws - Along with DX one of best tag-teams in tag team history!
The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin - They made WWF Attitude and we need it back, the ratings are getting lower and lower by the week and even if they appeared for one show they would get most probaly getting the highest ratings of the year and the people who watched it then and not now would most deffinately turn RAW on to see them two back on Monday nights!

ken shamrock would be perfect. for the fact that he was great, but besides that he's still in great shape. least since his last fight in ufc he looked in good shape.

It will never happen but i would love to see Bret Hart come back. It would be a major coup for the WWE and he could save what is becoming a very boring show.

Other than that i would agree with Ken Shamrock. the man had such intensity, as well as ability and i would love to see him back.

The only role the Legends could serve without damaging the company are as g.m., or maybe manager (only if the situation is right). The Rock won't come back, he has stated that he has retired from wrestling. Hart, Austin, Hogan, etc. can not wrestle because of health reasons.

the one wrestler wwe is truely crying out for is the big show, superweights dont go over well with the iwc but big show is a spectacle and provides when required: fear, humour, wrestling ability and a good presecence.

also... big show could rid us of the gret khali, mark henry ad others who arnet cutting it as well as we expect of our maineeventers.

in conclusion i believe the legend, if any that should return is the big show

IMO, the wwe sould not bring anyone back. there is no use in bringing up a legend for a couple of weeks. they should focus more on their new talent and build the new generation and not rely on the old generations.

i say doink and dink...thats right i went there...they were the shit...oh and maybe even randy savage....i miss the 90s...

but do you not feel that the best way to get a new generation wrestler over is to have them involved in storylines, tag teams or factions with old generation wrestlers/ veterans.

maybe a better argument could be the wwe dosent need to bring anyone back because they should utilise the veterans they already have in order to get the new generation superstars over?

just a thought

First I havr to say Lesner would and should never come back because he was complete garbage. The only two wrestlers that should come back but wont are The Great One and The Rattlesnake. But since neither of them will ever come back because the rock did all he could he was the greatest of all time.
On the Mic and in the Ring.
But the only "legend" that they should stop flirting with him coming back and just have him come back full force is Mick Foley give him som weird clothes to wear and give him the belt tp ride out until Cena Edge Jericho Booker and Lashley come back.

yeah. i agree that they could use the veterans they have to get newer guys over. i just don't think they should rely on these veterans carry the shows because many of these legends don'd have many more years worth of wrestling left in them.

i agree this is the way forward, and also theres only so much you can take the top guys such as cena (pre injury) and triple h because after a while alot of there situations just become too similar. they do on occasion use veterans to get new generation superstars over, just recently look at jeff hardy teaming with londrick, holly feuding with cody rhodes and triple h dropping the title to randy orton.

tell me though, you say you dont think anyone should return, but when you think that your never going to see a guy wrestle again and then theyre music breaks and they come back better than ever to completely turn a show on its head, does that not give you one of the best feelings in the whole of watching wrestling?

New Age Outlaws - Talented guys that could have a tag team championship run on Smackdown at the very least.

Ken Shamrock - Very talented, good on the mic, and someone with enough credibility that he could come in as a face and start feuding with guys from day one...especially if he came in as a bodyguard hired for someone.

Ted Dibiase - I'd love to see this guy come back as a manager to start a new version of Money Inc. He obviously couldn't wrestle, though. But I could see him taking some low-level guys under his wing that really need some "umph", like Kenny Dykstra, Charlie Haas maybe, etc. The WWE doesn't have any interesting managers and/or factions anymore and that's hurting them, I think, because we always knew that if you can't succeed in a faction, you can't branch out on your own. Look at what the Nation of Domination did for the Rock, D'lo, etc.

yeah it does fell pretty good. for example hbk monday night.

One legend WWE really need who could make a huge change even at his age is Hulk Hogan. If used right he can still bring in the huge crowds for sure. Hogan is a top rated main event wrestler and always will be.

I know this will probaly never happen but I would like to see The Ultimate Warrior end his career in the WWE. Imagine him being a suprise entrant in the Royal Rumble, I think he would get a massive ovation once his theme hits. Him and Orton could have a Legend vs Legend Killer match.

Depends on what you mean by "return". Macho Man Randy Savage is long overdue for a Hall Of Fame induction and it would be nice to see him in one last match.

Full time? Nobody needs to tell me it won't happen but for ratings, The Rock. And as with Randy Savage, seeing The Rock in one final match would be cool.

Id say the Rock only because it has been a while and he might realize how much he misses it, whether he realizes it now or not, because he drew crowds better than most people and he brought a great feel to the ring with his amazing charisma and his signature moves.

Id also say JBL, although he isnt considered a real legend, but the WWE needs a big heel to come in and have a rivalry with the Undertaker or maybe he could be traded to Raw and fight HHH or someone. Id just like to see the WWE shake things up because their product is a bit stale with the limited roster they have. They need to bring a big name back or make a major trade or something.

I would like to see the Dudley Boyz come back. They would add more interest to the tag division. It would be pretty cool to see Goldberg come back, too. Unless the WWE lures guys from TNA I think they should just focus on developing the younger talent. Oh, also they need to bring back the cruiserweights!!

I wish Mick Foley would be in matches you could like watch on RAW. Vengance was great, then they just threw him away. Now they're making him a special ref.
Seeing the Rock come back would be nice, but WWE should bring back Kurt Angle from TNA, even though he isn't a legend.

Nobody. WWE should concentrate on building up new talent. The whole purpose of the H.O.F. is nostalgia. WWE dont need legend's to come back and take younger superstar's spot's. Occasionally it's ok but Hogan's yearly appearence's are too much for me as it is.

I also agree. As it is, the WWE has talent that has been around since the dawn of time. The story writers need to focus on what is already here, what is happening, and leave the old timers to the Hall of Fame. That is where we honor our legends of yesteryear, and that is where it should lie. Don't dig up a honored grave.
