What song are you currently listening to?

Josh Turner-Jacksonville, I love this guy's stuff because aside from having one of the best voices in country his songs always tell great stories and Jacksonville is one of his best.

One of the most underrated songs from Creed, been awhile since I really steadily listened to them but they're one of my favorite bands of all time and had a major effect on me as a kid.

Noel Gallagher is back and top of the album charts, beating X Factor winner and ******** Matt Cradle for the number one spot. Great album. I bought it the day it came out, being a huge Noel fan. I hade already heard What A Life, If I Had A Gun, and of course The Death of You And Me before the album was released. I was expecting the trio to be my favourites from the album, but the rest didn't dissapoint. The first song on the album, Everybody's On The Run is my favourite. To my understanding it was written a couple years back. The following song Dream On would be better suited for Liam's voice IMO, great tune none the less.

If I was on this site a week ago Everybody's On The Run would be my choosen song. But in the past week there has been a development. Irish Comedian Andy Quirke releaesd the following song taking the piss out of people like myself......

You probably won't find it funny but me like most Irish people think it's gas.

Ten - Jewel
So far my favourite track by Jewel. It's a really sweet song. :) The lyrics - ♥.

I heard this on the radio the other day and immediately loved it. Chickenfoot are back!

Sammy Hagar still has an awesome voice and even though this is an old style 1970s track it doesnt change the fact that it fucking rocks. The lead single and one of the best songs on their new album, their second release, confusingly titled Chickenfoot III

Ballroom of Broken Hearts - The Gallery

I received a message suggesting this song on Youtube and I did. Each and every line in this song's beautiful. Another channel with talented performers. :) Here it is.

She doesn't think she can love
She felt the fire but the fire never burned hot enough
Her heart is covered in dust
And that ain't easy

They say true love doesn't judge
Her past is present, and it's whispering you're never enough
She doesn't know who to trust
And that ain't easy, when you're looking for love, no it ain't easy

And when she promenades into the dark
I let her run 'cause she never gets far
Until she turns around back into my arms
And we're dancing in the ballroom of our broken hearts
Oh we're dancing in the ballroom of our broken hearts

She was stuck in a rut
Had felt desire, but desire only gave her a rush
She was unlucky in lust
And that ain't easy

The walls are crumbling now
She's telling secrets that a healing heart could only allow
Just trying to figure it out
But that ain't easy, when you're young and in love, no it ain't easy

So she promenades into the dark
I let her run 'cause she never gets far
Until she turns around back into my arms
And we're dancing in the ballroom of our broken hearts
Oh we're dancing in the ballroom of our broken hearts

I wasn't looking for love
I felt the fire but the fire never burned hot enough
My heart was covered in rust
From the ups and downs, I've come around, I know we can love

But she promenades into the dark
Every time the going gets hard
But I call her back into my arms
To take a dance in the ballroom of our broken hearts
So we're dancing in the ballroom of our broken hearts
Take a chance in the ballroom of our broken hearts

Heard this a couple of days ago in a café and was tapping my feet to it the whole time it was on. One of the workers came over to clear some stuff off our table and saw I was enjoying it and asked if I was a fan. Told them I didn't know who it was so they wrote down the name of the band and suggested I check them out.

Really like this cover of The Calling's 'Wherever You Will Go' and the way the girls voice kinda mispronounces the word 'wherever' is quite cute.

I recently got Dead Island and this song plays in the beginning and I the firts time i heard it I was hooked. I don't like most rap I do like some and this has everything i enjoy in a rap song. The beat is awesome and the little bit in the beginning before the beat starts gets me hooked right off the bat. Then there's the fact this song fits perfectly into the HorrorCore genre that I love.

Phil Lamar does the voice for Sam B in the game so as far as I know he's the one who sings this song as well. Not bad for a voice actor if it's actually him.

Listening to Noel Gallagher's solo album on repeat, this is my favorite song off it, also I reccomend the song "If I Had a Gun" to anyone whose interested in his work, great album overall.

Damn it, Dragon Saga, I surfed all the way to this thread just to post that song, and see you've beaten me to it. Anyway, I'm not just listening to Noel, I'm listening to Mylo Xyloto, Coldplay's new album. My opinion on Coldplay changes all the time, depending on my mood. Sometimes I listen and think: ''Why the fuck am I listening to this whiny bullcrap?''. Other times, I think: ''They're bloody geniuses''. Luck for Coldplay (and HMV), I'm on one of the highs. My favourite song on the album is ''Paradise''. Paradise is a catchy, simple song that makes me feel great for some weird reason. Awesome song:

I know I know, it's a lame song but I heard this one when I was stuck in traffic on my way to Oakland and singing along to this classic really put me in a good mood, I love it.

Darius Rucker-Things I'd Never Do
When this album first came out I really wasn't a huge fan, aside from 2 of the songs that were popular as singles all the rest sounded the same to me. I've been a fan of Darius since his Hootie days and I've loved him since coming to Country still so I continued to give the album a chance and I finally realized that this song is absolutley awesome, current favorite song. :worship:

Another Jane's Addiction song. Dave Navarro's guitar is awesome, the warped effect I love, it gives the song a spaced out feel. Perry Farrel's singing is as great as ever and Stephen Perkins drumming is as good as ever. The video's pretty trippy as well.

Seether- Fuck me like you hate me!

WOW this song is sexy!:lmao:

Regardless of its's potential to induce female dominating male fantasies it is still another one of the great Seether songs that I just discovered a mere hour ago.

Never been a big fan of Corgan despite my love for Smashing Pumpkins (the activity and the band) which puts me in an awkward spot admittedly, but I do have a big ol soft spot for this song. Been humming this to myself randomly and finally looked it up on youtube with good results.

I love Kid's original songs but nobody does covers better than this man. He doesn't just sing other people's songs with his own voice, he tweaks that whole song and makes it his own, and that's one of the many reasons that I love Kid Rock. This one is such a fun song to listen and sing along to, great stuff to listen to on a long drive out in the country ;)

Wish you were here - Avril Lavigne
My favourite from her latest album Goodbye Lullaby. I've been having the song on replay for quite sometime.
She looks so pretty and miserable at the same time in the video. I guess it's a Pretty Miserable video.

This is quite weird, but I love John Frusciante, so it works out. It's a very interesting combination of guitars -- he has a guitar track running backwards over the entire song, as he plays an acoustic guitar throughout.

It's different.

So, lately, I've been into Foster the People's first album, ''Torches''. It's a great debut album, and like most Indie groups (I'm looking at you The Kooks and MGMT) they'll probably have only one decent album. But, at least it's VERY decent. Most songs are quite enjoyable and it's a crime they haven't released ''Houdini'' yet, bu oh well.

Any true country fan know's that George Jones is the supreme ruler of Country music, before there was George Strait there was Jones and to this day he is refered to as the king of country. There are many things that GJ did during his career and many thing he accomplished, one of the things that I am most fond of from his works is any time he would pair up with female country icon Tammy Wynette. These two had brilliant chemistry and anything they did together was gold to me, I'm on a bit of a Jones binge right now so here are two of the songs that they did together that went on to find success and probably his most famous song. I know that most people don't care for older country like this but I love it.

So Ends Another Day - Baba Yaga

I usually play this song at night before I go to bed. I really loved it when Fedor had a training video made to this song (showed him riding on horseback, just enjoying himself, and preparing for his fights)

Seeing as how it's almost midnight, I think it fits; so ends another day.
