Youth of the Nation

Such a powerful song that actually makes you feel sad and yet entertained. It is symbolic of all the problems teenagers must face. It is also an awesome song on the other hand. The child chorus at the end reminds me of the ending of Letters from Iwo Jima when the Japanese children sing the anthem to the isolated troops on the island that are going to be massacred my american forces. Just so great by all means.

40 oz.
By D-12

What a club banger.

This song accomplishes nothing but getting you up bobbing your head abrasively. This song is far better then anything Lil' Jon could cook up in his studio and is far better then any party/fight/crunk/rap song out there. Loud ooming bass drums provide the backbone for this song. 40oz. is your typical hip hop fight song, except D12 style. As you would expect, it is even more gory and graphic coming from D12 talking about solvng problems with AKs, Berrettas, switchblades, brass knuckles, nickel plated belt buckles, broken beer bottles and everything you'll find in your typical kitchen. Eminem is involved in this song, but he delivers ok verses. Cool song that I listen to when I murder someone.

Fuck, man! I can't believe this song is 12 years old already. That makes me feel old...

I remember when this first came out, it was always on the radio and I got sick of it, but now I hear it only very rarely, I like it.

I was trading some CD's in at a music shop the other aday, and chose to receive in-store credit rather than cash. I saw the Crazy Town album pre-owned for 20p and I remembered "Butterfly", and come on 20p is cheaper than even getting the 1 song on i-tunes, so I picked it up.

The rest of the album is pretty loud rap-metal, with this single being pretty different from the rest. They really are a very cheesy nu-metally kind of band, but there are about 3 songs on the CD that I like, this being the best. The others are pretty dire, but it was definitely worth 20p!

Don't know if you knew this Naitch but the entire song was sampled from this one part of a Red Hot Chili Peppers song Pretty Little Ditty

Its a nice little instrumental piece as well

Pearl Jam- Jeremy
Yep not only is this kick ass classic a great fucking song but it's named after me, how bout that? :p Also the music video is a real tweaker, I've honestly never seen the vid even though I've been listening to it since my dad introduced it to me when I was a little tike, but man that's a trip.

Pearl Jam- Better Man
When I listen to one Pearl Jam song, I must listen to more and so in turn I must post their greatest song in it's greatest live performance ever, god I wish I could have been at this concert to sing the first part of the song.

The Tragically Hip-Ahead By A Century.

A Canadian band that's been around for quite some time and I've never had the privilege of knowing about them. But after going back a listening to and few songs on Youtube a lot of those melodies and hooks came rushing back to me and I almost immediately remembered..Hey,I use to hear this band on the radio all the time when I was younger and I still do now,I just never payed much attention. That is, until I heard this song on the radio and I listened intently and I fell in love with it straightaway. I've only known about this song for a few days but it feels like I've been listening to it for years. A real meaningful song with a ton of heart and inspiration. I suggest you all give this song a download,if not that, a good listen. Its lovely.

I recognised the name of the band, and the singer has done a collaboration on a song with my favourite band City and Colour on their song 'Sleeping Sickness.' Might be worth checking out if you haven't already done so :)

While not a HUGE M83 fan, I like a few songs here and there, my friend sent me this the other night and I can't stop listening to it. Awesome tune.

You all know that even if you don't want to admit it, this guy is awesome. I've always loved this song and i've always loved Bolton, and after posting in one of Hamler's awesome threads it got me in the mood for some Time,Love, and Tenderness. :)

Three Days Grace - Rooster (Cover)

I've recently been listening to a lot of various Three Days Grace songs, having been a fan for a long period of time. Specifically as of late, I've been checking out songs from their "Live at the Palace" DVD live performance, and this song keeps being one of the songs I play every single day. I'm not much of a fan of the Alice in Chains song, but the acoustic style performed by Adam Gontier is absolutely awesome in this song. An incredible live performance, and a damn great cover of a song with some cool, strong lyrics.

Great band and a great song went to see them a few months ago and they where great. This is from the album tourist history and was my album of the year last year.

Following on from Biffy Clyro, Twin Atlantic seem to be the next band to show off their Scots' twang in their singing. This song took a while to grow on me but it has officially grown, and it's a treat to play loud.

It's been quite a while since I posted a country song, I have been on a bit of a rock binge but I'm floating back to my roots by listening to classics like George Strait's A Heart Like Hers. Great song by one of the greatest artists to grace the Country genre with his talent, I always love his songs like this not just for the great sound but he really tells a great story, gotta love it.

I honestly love this song so much, and I will never stop loving it. It's one of the songs that I will always remember thanks to my lovely grandmother, and now that she's gone, it's the song I remember her by the most. When I was younger, whenever I was at my grandmother's house or whenever she was around, it would be hard pressed not to see her singing this song.

I love Theory of a Deadman, in my own eyes they're Nickelback x 10. Nickelback made Rockstar, these guys made "Hate My Life", N-Back has "Animals", these guys got "Bad Girlfriend". But this song, "Lowlife" has got brilliant lyrics, they're funny & well, it's a catchy tune.

When I'm gone - 3 Doors Down
It's been quite a while since I listened to this song, my favourite by 3 Doors Down. The lyrics - ♥.

Seems as though I've fallen back into my usual Country mood, and what better way to get back to my genre than one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite groups of all time, She Don't Tell Me To by Montgomery Gentry. These guys deserve more credit and respect for the amazing music that they've put out in the last decade, their voices compliment each other so well as Troy Gentry has the softer & higher voice while Eddie Montgomery has the deep booming voice to power out his part and they make a great combo, I've been a fan for years and I always will be, for their wonderful music and all the work they do to help out our troops, massive love and respect for Montgomery Gentry.

This has been playing on the radio for several days in a row now and I really liked it so I tracked down online what it was.

I really like this song because it has many things at once that I enjoy about music. It is heavy, catchy, has good lyrics, and singers of both genders which sounds amazing when you find a group who work well together like these guys. I might buy the cd just for "Awake & Alive" alone.

Puddle Of Mudd-Thinking About You
Here's one by my favorite rockers and actually my current favorite song from them. It's like their normal stuff but I little lighter, but I really love the sound and I have had this one on repeat for days now.

Flamethrower-Econoline Crush.

I recently heard the song You Don't Know What Its Like by the same band on the radio. Once I downloaded that song and fell in love with it,I had to hear more. I did what I always do when I discover a new band that leaves a good first impression on me,I go on Youtube and listen to more! This was one of the first songs a looked into because the name intrigued me and I gotta say its pretty funky. I'm not sure what it is about the song I just can't turn my ears off to it. If its not playing over through my computer speakers or car stereo or in a continuous loop on my Ipod then its constantly being repeated in my head and demands to be repeated.

Funny thing was is I thought this was a new band to hit the scene, turns out they have been around for about 15 years and I've only just heard about them now. Good stuff.

SEETHER - COUNTRY SONG

I have been hearing this on the radio alot lately, I didnt know the name title of the song until i google the lyrics of the chorus. lol. I really like the guitar in this song. Wishing I could find the sound out there of just the guitar piece to this so I can make it a ring tone! yay! any who this song rocks, I never would have guess Seether sang this. Great Song!

Yes, I still play old Prince music. Not just because women love it, but because the guy can make damn good music. I still like his new stuff, but nothing will ever top the classics that he's done.

Off their new album which is kick ass. It is a good jam and I enjoy the lyrics from this song. Good music and it is one of the best albums of 2011 in my eyes.

This is my favorite song off this album. It is awesome and it is a killer song with good beats and good lyrics.

Pendulum - Self Vs Self feat. in flames

Yes! the third best pendulum song on their album "immersion"! I love this song almost as much as Watercolour or even Witchcraft. The lyrics are awesome even though they sound a bit heavy metal which I do not really like. any way great song!
