What song are you currently listening to?

Some more Hopsin for that ass. Probably my favorite song off of Raw, well, maybe second favorite. I Am Raw is a dope ass song too. I dig this shit because it's probably the fastest he's ever went before. He still sticks to his multiple syllables and shit, but when he puts that shit at 5x speed it sounds even harder. The ending to that 3rd verse is just nutty. I heard he played at the GOTJ this year, hope to see some videos of his set sometime soon.

LOVE THIS!

My friend and I met last night to go for a drink and catch up after his holiday and we went to one of the pubs in the village where we live, but chose the quieter one so we could chat better.

There were just a few old guys in there playing dominoes, but we saw that the jukebox had been changed to a brand spanking new one. Obviously, we just went and put the most innapropriate music for a Wednesday night in an old mans pub on. Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Linkin Park, Alice In Chains and this.

The old blokes were not happy when Dre and Snoop came on, but it made me laugh so it was worth it. Gangsta rap at its absolute best. A true rap classic

This is such a great, peaceful, relaxing song from the legendary Pink Floyd. You could listen to this for hours and it never gets old. It can really just cure all you're stress and soothe you nicely. Beautiful song.

Heard a bit of this via the advert for the new Deus Ex game and absolutely love it. Very atmospheric and a bit haunting with a great build towards the end too, my new walking tune I think.

I love this song, the rhythm really clicks with me. I was never a Owl City fan, in fact I had never heard of them, but this song right here is incredible and made me search for his other works, which aren't that good unfortunately.

Cee Lo Green - I Want You

I've been listening to his album, The Lady Killer, non-stop for the past few days. There isn't a bad song on it, and this is my favourite. It's a simple love ballad which showcases Cee Lo's amazing soul voice. This is the album version, which is much better than the single, in my opinion. I prefer the more classic vibe. To be quite honest, I'd also pick Wildflower and Bright Lights, Bigger City as my favourite songs on the album. They both have great hooks and are expertly (the production values on the latter, in particular, are through the roof.

Foo Fighters at VH1's Rcok Honors: The Who- "Young man blues/Bargain"

I can't have enough of this cover. It is simply amazing. I remember listening to The Who and thinking "why these guys are so legendary?" Until I saw them playing live, seeing and FEELING all of their energy made me realize how great band was.

As you can see, the Foos are not far from that kind of enegry on stage. it is simply powerful, it makes you want to jump around like one crazy fuck and dedicated your life to rock.

Honestly, the Foos with their performance have HONORED The Who. This is why Foo Fighters are a real rock band and this HOW you should play live.

Definitely Kid Cudi Do It Alone

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQD_ALkz3xc

I've absolutely love Kid Cudi. Not because he smokes weed and all that immature bullshit. I think that he has a great voice, he speaks real, and he is one of the very few that can switch his style from rock, to hip hop, to a little electronic, to slow singing.

Unlike the sellouts that we have now..... (cough) (cough) Black Eyed Peas (cough) (cough)

As many know on these forums, I am an obsessive Oasis fan but I have actually only just found this song. I own everything the band has done, every single every album and every DVD. However, the single for "The Importance Of Being Idle" which I own is the DVD version, with the B-Side being the music video, not an alternative song.

This is the song that is the B-Side on the CD version of the single. A Liam Gallagher penned tune, and a pretty good one at that. I am glad I discovered it yesterday from a friend

Y&T-Don't Stop Runnin

I found my old Y&T Collection album yesterday cleaning out my room and i've been listening to it non stop since, but this is the song that I play the most. Ever since my dad introduced me to them when I was little i've loved em, i'm so glad I found that old cd.

I'm not an Angel - Halestorm

Love this song, Love that voice.

Favourite song by this band. :)

Now Way Sis - I'ld Like To Teach The World To Sing.

[YT]fWffzdd2XMM[/YT]

Oasis cover band No Way Sis cover The Coca Cola Song. Noel Gallagher even called them the "second best band in the world". Whilst Liam said they're "keeping the home fires burning" in the UK whilst Oasis were touring across the world. From what I can hear Shakermaker, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Columbia and Some Might Say all have there parts in the song. I'm expecting The Natural to like this one. :icon_biggrin:

Nirvana-D-7

A cover of punk band The Wipers song of the same name, I find this song just amazing because it starts of slow and Kurt Cobain almost sounds bored, then it picks up and the energy he puts into it is amazing, it just sounds so amped up from the intro.

The last song on Soundgarden's "A-Sides" Singles collection. A pretty good tune, but nothing spectacular. It is a pleasant listen but after you have just listened to some of their greatest work like "Outshined", "Rusty Cage" "Fell on Black Days" and "Black Hole Sun" you can see the drop in quality quite blatantly.

Still, not a bad tune and pretty catchy. Cornell sounds great as always.

The first single off the new album I'm With You. Its a great funky song blending bits of Stadium Arcadium and Blood Sugar Sex Magik to good effect. While John Frusciante isn't around, new guy Josh Klinghoffer sure knows what he's doing in my opinion.

I am currently on a bit of a grunge trip, with CD's from Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Alice In Chains in the car right now.

This really is one of the finest songs from AIC, which is about Jerry Cantrell's Vietnam vet father, known as "Rooster". I love how this song builds up with the quiet verses leading into an explosion of noise in the chorus. When I saw AIC live a couple of years ago, this is the song they ended the encore with. Awesome

Mt. Eden - Beautiful Lies (Rap Remix by None Like Joshua)

As of late I've started to listen a whole lot to various Dubstep artists, mainly DJ Ephixa and Mt Eden. The non-lyrical original version of this song is absolutely amazing, and is really relaxing to listen to, which you could most likely clearly hear in this, behind Joshua's voice.

However, running into this remix by Joshua just made the whole song so much better, it became more heart felt, and in comparison to some of his other remixes (With DJ Ephixa and Shrillex for example). This remix to me shows a whole lot of how skilled None Like Joshua can be, a lot due to his ability to be versatile in terms of the rhythm and speed of the track.

Definitely something I could fully recommend people took their time to sit back and listen to, even if you aren't a dubstep fan.

Bubbly - Colbie Caillat

One of my favourites from her album Coco.

I remember hearing this for the first time and liking it instantly.

It's so relaxing and sweet.

Cute video, nice voice. :)

I just found a song that is now definitley in my top 10

Porcupine Tree: "Blackest Eyes"

Probably the biggest criticaly aclaimed band, ever. I have like 4 of their albums and there is probably three songs exaggerating, that are average. Every piece of music these guys write, is fucking gold.

This is probably one of my favorite songs, is up there with the obvious "wedding nails". This band just can't do a bad song. It's amazing.

In preperation for buying tickets for the Motley Crue/Def Leppard/Steel Panther tour which go on sale tomorrow I have been playing the "Red, White & Crue" Greatest Hits set in the car today.

This is one of the earliest Crue songs, but still sounds awesome today. Every time I hear it I have to bang my head and rock the fuck out, I cannot wait to hear this live if its in the set. Vince Neil sounds so young on this one, and the rest of the guys were at their absolute best on this. A great 80s metal classic.
