What Really Grinds YOUR Gears?

It pisses me off when I go home, and she is supposed to take me to family get together's and she just works on her own ridiculously late schedule. Now mind you, I have a tight schedule when im in town, so I have to leave for places at certain times. so we get to a place ASS late becuase of HER, and then I have to look like an asshole leaving after only spending about an hour with everyone, becuase I have 3 other places to go during that night. My mother in general just pisses me off lol

You know what's a real pain in the ass? When you get a big group of people to go see a movie and you're the only responsible timekeeper, so you have to figure out all the times people can/cannot and such. You do all the work, you finally settle on something like a week ahead of time to give people notice, and then the night of or the night before, everyone cancels one by one, and when you get pissed at them, they think you're just being an asshole.

I'm personally one of those people that lets people know if anything changes. If I'm going to be 10 minutes late, I tell them the second I get a chance to - but that rarely ever happens, because I'm almost always like 15 minutes or more early.

For the movies especially, its annoying, because 2 out of my 4 best friends are the type that don't mind missing the first 10 minutes of a film. The one of them always says "if its a 10 o'clock show, the movie won't start until 10:30. Its all previews". Well...first off..no. The movie typically DOES start at 10. Maybe 10:05 if they're running late. Secondly, the movie isn't going to wait for you. If you show up late, you're missing part of it. Third, you paid for this. Wouldn't you want your 10 bucks to be worth it?

Oh my God. don't talk to me about this. The last time my friends wanted to go, it took us about 2 weeks to finally suit everyone. It got cancelled so many times. Then there was the issue about which movie everyone wanted to see.

Another time, we all tried to organise it again, not everybody could go so me and my best friend said fuck it, we'll go by ourselves. So we did and we actually had a really good time without the rest. Met some chicks too.

What's with all the time management? You say 'want to go to the movies Saturday night?'. And then you go.

It's your fault for bothering to organise people. They obviously can't, so who cares?

As for people who are late...you'll get over it. Or, tell them an earlier time. Wouldn't that work? Yes, yes it would.

Have you been to a movie by yourself before? I haven't, but I don't even want to imagine what it's like.

No. Well, I've had to take little cousins to see silly movies before, so since there's no one to really talk to, I guess that partly counts.

But, they would be.

That's the thing about telling them to get there ten minutes before they're actually meant to get there. They would be on time. No inconvenience to you.

I've had to do this before. It's annoying. Then there's the small chance they may actually be on time, which would make me seem late. I'm never late. Ever.

Yeah, but it makes them annoyed. Which is probably a good thing. Gives them a taste of their own vitamins.

People who like a band such as "Slipknot".

Utter, utter rubbish. Oo, they're wearing 'sick' masks and screaming. They must be 'fucking awesome!' and good enough to make me wear black and be antisocial and maybe now I can fit in with all those other people that listen to them!

Idiots.

And I don't care if people object to my comment that they 'scream'. I think they do, or growl, or something like that. That type of music is all trash, so it's easy to generalise.
