For the record, Roller Coaster Tycoon outclassed Theme Park in every department. When you can't even be the best game featuring the cleaning up of vomit from an amusement park then you don't deserve to advance in this thing.

This pre-tourney tourney is killing me. Too many amazing games to choose from. The poll with PaRappa The Rapper was my hardest choice hands down, since most of the games on the poll did something extraordinarily well.

The first JAK AND DAXTER having more votes than Star Fox 64???

(I'm not really mad, though it is a bit silly. PaRappa absolutely deserves a spot in, especially over effing Guitar Hero. Jak and Daxter was fun and all but I preferred the later games, and Star Fox 64 was a thing of beauty.)

I'm fairly certain it made the seeded Top 100. I think that game could do really well, it's my favourite of the series.

Seriously, Guitar Hero 3, which while fun wasn't even one of the best Guitar Hero games, is leading a poll with Mega Man Legends 2, Viewtiful Joe, Bully, Duke Nukem, Paper Mario, and Secret of Mana.

Man, Viewtiful Joe needs more love. That game was so good.

I'm going to be totally lost on all of the PS3/360 games, as I never ended up getting either of them. Played a few games on 360 though at a buddy's house for awhile. I've waited this long, I figure I might as well just wait for the next generation of consoles.

Nope. Deus Ex Machina was a Sinclare Spectrum game that was nominated exclusively by myself. It was the first game in history to feature legitimate storytelling. It was the first game in history to feature voice acting. It was the fist game in history to make proper use of music. It was one of the most critically acclaimed games of its generation, widely considered to be light-years ahead of its time.

Video games in general spend a lot of time trying to distinguish themselves as a legitimate art form. The games as art movement began with Deux Ex Machina. People should vote for it.
