Not really, don't see why anyone would be offended by you makeing a joke about the guy who killed his family, now it you were makeing a joke about his wife or kid then I could see where someone could find that offensive, I could honestly care less though

People make jokes as soon as they find out about this sorta stuff, it just happens. If your offended then your either a) an idiot, or b) a member of the family. But yea, stay away from the wife and kid

I think you're actually over doing it. Some people seriously care & aren't considered "idiots" just because they'd take offense to you joking about anyone's death. (be it a murderer, or victim)
I also find it funny how you claim this sorta stuff happens, & that if they're offended they'd be considered an idiot.. (due to their opinion) but you end everything by saying stay away from the Wife & kid. While it shows your emotions toward murderers.. & I'm sure most would agree.. it also shows your one-sidedness in believing that "bad people" should be made fun of, & anyone who defends them are idiots.. yet if a "good person" is made fun of, its not a joking matter.
So, just to clearify.. what catagory are you under? That way I know whether to laugh & joke when you die.. or just forget about you all together
Seriously.. I respect & miss Chris Benoit. It doesn't mean I don't understand the concept of a joke. While I'm sure some could easily get offended, the fact is.. its a joke. Tasteful, tasteless, emotionless, or down right gut-busting. A joke is exactly what its intended to be.. funny to some, stupid to others. Don't be so narrow minded to call everyone who has a different opinion, an idiot.

What I meant by calling them an idiot is that on this forum, i extremely doubt anyone other than kevin kelly eugene or paul bearer knew them enough to be properely effected by it enough to be offended by a joke about them.
I also dont think its either good or bad people as you put it should be made fun of, and i also never said chris should be made fun of cos he was considered 'bad' but not the wife or kid cos they were 'good'. Thinking about it, i only said stay away from the wife or kid because some other people did and tbh, i dont really care if you made a joke about the wife cos the only part that id be bothered by would be if you laughed at the kid since that is also the main point in people who arent wrestling fans who ive spoken to about this saying that its completely wrong to kill a child.

Look how many MILLIONS cried tons over this ordeal. I'm not personally one of them, because of exactly what you said.. I didn't know her, it didn't effect me. But, what I'm arguing the point of, is your statement on how it doesn't seem to be right for people who didn't know them.. to be effected enough to get offended.
I assure you, had people made light, or joked at the fact of Diana's death.. it would've offended many people. And on this (a wrestling forum) I'm sure it could effect & offend many.. but what I'm getting at, as to why it shouldn't matter on whether a joke is made or not.. is the fact that people need to understand the meaning of "a joke."
Its made to make a person laugh, or feel as if it was stupid. Its never, ever meant to intentionally offend or upset.. even though they can.

This one makes me laugh, simply because the kid on the left (our left, Benoit's right) almost looks as if he KNOWS its coming.
Also, is that the actual World Championship? It looks huge, its practically bigger than all three of their heads, combined.
