TNA No Surrender LD

KB how would you rate that match

Rating: A-. Match was GREAT, booking is idiotic. This is a way to set up a triple threat or something (because they’re an alternative to WWE right?) like that. This was a great in ring performance though and one of Jeff’s best matches ever. This would be an A+ if not for the constant stoppages and the flat out stupid booking, but that’s TNA for you I guess: you have something great so you overbook it to hell and back.

Remember when months back TNA was instituting that whole "Dont swear in the crowd" policy? And now they have Anderson whos name for everyone and his chant features the word "Asshole"?

Now while it didnt help momentum I thought the stoppages added to the story of the match, that they would not die and would keep exceeding the time limit. It doesnt make sense to have one to begin with, but overall I liked them.

Both companies are completely different, but okay.

But I agree with you. Fantastic match, but stupid finish. I guess that was the only way to set up a triple threat I suppose.

If they really needed to setup a triple threat match they should've pulled the Austin/Brett at Wrestlemania 13 with Hardy passing out to the Ankle lock

So Impact isn't airing next thursday? What pre-empted that?
No TNA so they don't compete with NFL opening night. Instead of airing it on a different day (like Wednesday), they just aren't gonna have a show at all this week. couple that with the booking of the Angle/Hardy match, and you see why people don't like TNA.

shouldn't angle have retired though? If he didn't win, he lost and if he loses he's done.

because that would make Angle the CLEAR winner, just like it made Bret the clear winner of the match.

:disappointed:

No contest doesnt count as anything, thats why they went with it. It wasnt a draw which wouldnt count as a win, it was a no contest.
