Only expect a really tiny ratings pop. This sort of this matters so much less in the world of TV ratings that people think. Other networks, the weather and dumb luck all have a much greater effect than the quality of the previous piece of television. 1.3 would be a very solid result for TNA.

Odds are I won't be here tonight. Can't keep kicking my partner out of the bedroom, plus my mother is coming to visit tomorrow (fucking joy of joys). If I'm awake in the middle of the night I might pop in, but the odds are against it. Will post my thoughts as soon as a get the chance though.

For the ratings, you have to balance out the fact that a lot of people were/are upset of the finish so they'll likely not watch to the new viewers and Jersey Shore fans that tune in (Jwow's appearance has gotten some media attention from E). I expect a 1.6 or lower.

I think TNA would be quite pleased to pull in consecutive 1.5's in the ratings tonight and next week. I would not be surprised to see ratings go even a little bit higher, say 1.7 tonight and 1.6 next week. People will tune in these two nights because they need some sort of explanation to the train wreck that was BFG. Why are they coming if they are already there, you know, that sort of thing. I see a spike coming on Spike in the short term.

Unfortunately for iMPACT, after totalling 3.3 over the next two weeks, I expect it will take them the next three weeks after this, added together, to reach 3.3 again. Three consecutive 1.1's, that sounds about right, once people realize that it's the Eric and Terry show again, a cheap reprisal of the nWo. People will tune in for an explanation, a valid one won't be offered, and then it's back to same old same old.

Trust me. I was quivering in my shoes like a baby when I saw the picture of Matt with the old X Division title. be glad it was that one and not *shutter* the TNA World title. At least he could add air time to the X Division since he is the brother of TNA's top heel.
