"Most entertaining" is a subjective measure.
"Best drawing" is an objective measure.
Since "best drawing" can be measured in cash- super important if you're running a business- and "most entertaining" can only be measured within the mind of the observer, it follows that no one who works in professional wrestling gives a quarter of a shit who is "most entertaining", when they also look at "best drawing".
It's not that people don't get your comparison, it's just that they also get the above mental arithmetic and wonder why you can't shut up about it.
Money does not affect the quality of the product; it does to an extent because WWE needs a budget to run the show and shit, but thats about it. Money can't change the way the creative team writes stuff. Let me give you a few examples; Justin Beiber who has a net worth of $200 million, yet his album reviews are absolute shit. Call of Duty getting a ton of negative reviews, yet making a shitload of money due to its name and appealing to kids (just like Cena), they still can't come up with any new material though. Kanye West "selling out" by changing to a more mainstream style, thus making more money, but losing a lot of fans and the music quality got worse in the process. I mean what don't you get about this?
What dont you get about a business having "making money" as its primary objective? Hey, stupid. They are a corporation. Not art. You want art? Watch NXT. Watch NJPW. Watch ROH. Shut up, already. Its very clear you're too stupid to see how shit needs to work.
So what I got from this post is WWE sold out, sacrificing a good product for making the most money (putting Cena on top constantly) and all of you are okay with that and constantly defending them.. typical WWE apologist logic
I've been trying very, very hard to sell out for years, and I applaud anyone who has successfully done so. In order to sell out, you have to have something that a lot of people want to buy.
You also really don't seem to understand the definition of "good" and "product" when the two words are put together.

Music and video games are no where near the same entertainment medium as pro wrestling. There are many different genres in music and video games. There are not different genres in pro wrestling. That's like saying that there are different genres of boxing and MMA.
So the WWE making less money would indeed effect the way that creative would write story lines and angles, it would indeed change the way they book matches, and it would indeed effect who we as fans see pushed.

ROH and NJPW are money driven promotions too. NJPW is really good at it; ROH is not. NXT would be the only promotion that you could classify as artistic expression, but only because they have the WWE funding them.

That's subjective. I like WWE's current product. So do millions of others obviously. If they didn't WWE wouldn't make money.
