Wow, so HBK is now the second man that Undertaker has needed to use 3 Tombstones to put away. Except the difference between Kane and Michaels, is that HBK isn't up beating Taker into a pulp after the bell.
And that, my friends, is the way PPV is done. Solid from beginning to end.
To anyone who claims to be in the midst of the new Monday Night Wars, it must be now obvious that there's an astronomical difference between the WWE and anything TNA can throw at them.
And you're dreaming, the few of you who say Michaels is going to TNA. From that kind of pomp and pagentry, that kind of emotion, that kind of class, that high quality of a product, to a school gymnasium, it will never happen.
The question is, is he really gone permanently, or will he return in 6+ months on some form of technicality or re-instatement.

Wow great match from Taker and Hbk! I bet Bret was watching that match and maybe even teared up because he wishes he could still go at that level. If only Bret was able to compete at an older age like the rest of the Legends.. ahh.. well.. terrible wrestlemania as usual but taker and michaels did the throwback to when WWE was good.

a career ends and a streak continues. The Career that ends has been effectively the story of the development of Wrestlemania as much as the streak has been a part of Wrestlemania. I can't think of a Wrestler that has been deserving of having a 5 star match to end his career as Shawn Michaels.

god, that was one of the best WWE matches I have seen since, well, Taker/HBK 1, and before that, who the hell knows.
HBK, I wish you never had to go, but there is no better way to go then to go out at the hands of a fellow legend in one of your best matches.
