Yeah I hated that Hardy and Bully Ray match...

Austin Aries has beef with Aces & Eights, specifically one guy called the "arm breaker" (the one people think is Gallows) because they say he's the one that broke Aries' arm... but he was outside the ring!

Go to 4:40. It was the fat guy (I think it's D'Lo) that swung the chair, not the one with the skull mask. Why didn't they just have D'Lo fight Aries?

Yes, very hysterical. Now...:

"Who cares how many it holds (as long as it holds enough)? What's more important is how much it costs to rent, and if the cost wasn't significantly higher, who cares? Not to mention, you can create a large PPV set, and really give your PPV some shine. Lockdown is TNA's second biggest PPV of the year, so again I ask you, who cares?"

Credit to Sly (paragraph extracted from the main page).

Anyway, at least they're trying. After they realize how many people get disappointed after the tickets have sold out (if they do), they'll get the gist for the year after which yes, I believe they'll still be in business.

Isn't Lockdown the plan for the Aces & Eights to come to an end? Won't that get them TV buys? I think it will. For that reason though, they probably should have planned on bringing in more fans. RISK IT. 5000 maybe?

Hopefully it will be better than this years Survivor Series.

Yeah, how silly of them to set up a building with their average ticket sales taken into account in a venue that can be expanded should they exceed their target and need to expand.

TNA should really bring back Suicide and I don't mean the character but the thought.

Yeah. But how do all those matches fit a 3 hour card? One of those is guaranteed to be long.

D'Lo Brown should have been the first person revealed, not the VP. He's a nobody now. He has zero star power, and was doing just fine in his backstage role. His biggest god damn claim to fame is "I'M THE CHAMPION OF EUROPE!" and sending Droz to a permanent residence in a wheelchair.

The longer this A&8 storyline goes on the convoluted it becomes... It doesn't even matter who the leader is at this point because the following order is such a joke that nobody could ever take them seriously.

The card has a few good matches. Ray and Hardy could have had a much better build, but its a good match. Also, Team TNA vs. A&E is okay. And, the three way tag match will be great. The other 5 matches are either thrown together or going to be terrible.

Here's my problem with Jeff vs. Bully:

Why are they fighting? It's been made clear that the only reason Ray has gotten this shot is because he's Hulk's son in law. Ray didn't win a big match, he hasn't beaten anyone in a singles match lately (his last televised one on one win was against Jesse Godderz. Before then, his last singles win on TV was in SEPTEMBER when he beat Aries, as in the guy he lost to on PPV in December), he and Hardy have no personal issue, and Ray has barely been around him due to feuding with Aces and 8's. Hardy was gone for a month and is just now back in action but he hasn't had much interaction with Ray either.

At the end of the day, Ray hasn't earned this shot and hasn't won anything of note lately, Hardy hasn't done anything to Ray, and they don't hate each other.

What is the interest in seeing them fight?

There should be no interest. But it's setting up the "big swerve" of Bully Ray being the leader of Aces & Eights, and Brooke turning on Papa Hogan to sit at the "head of the table" with Bully while he has the title.

TNA has always been god awful at building PPV's, but now they really have no excuse with the whole PPV cut back thing. It's a shame their biggest show hasn't been properly built and will most likely be disappointing.

I agree with you at a minimum. Matches like Rob Terry vs Robbie E will disappoint, as both of the stars lack great in-ring ability and have bad chemistry, but if you look at the plus side, you have Bully Ray vs Jeff Hardy, Aces and Eights vs Team TNA and Wes Brisco vs Kurt angle; three matches where we can expect great swerves, as it speculated that more members of Aces and Eights, will soon be revealed. Moving on to the mid-card, you have Chavo and Hernandez, vs Bad influence, vs Bobby Roode and Austin Aries, and Kenny King, vs Zema ion, vs Christian York where I can see an entertaining match between the 3.

Then we have the poor hype to the show, where I agree with you, but the blame falls on the UK tour.
When they went to the UK, the thing that they focused on the most, was entertaining the crowd, so they threw on some good matches but didn't focus on the story-line. What did we get from the UK tour, aside from the fact that Brisco and Bischoff are in the Aces and Eights, and that Bully Ray is the number one contender for the World heavyweight championship?

So for Slammiversary, we can expect a decent hype, as opposed to the LockDown build up.

Not a knock on the whole product, just started following it more dilligently.

But GAWWWD, does Brooke look more n' more like a tranny every week!

What's the deal with bringing Crimson back, making his return seem relevant in some way, only to job to Joseph Parks a few minutes later?

Considering he was given a backstage segment following the loss, it was designed to push a story with him.

I really wish wrestling fans never learned industry terminology, because he didn't "job" to Joseph Park. I'm quite confident in saying that the vast majority of wrestling fans have no idea what jobbing actually is.
