The NXT Thread Is Like Ring of Honor's Bay-Bay!

Roode will debut at the next taping block. The last of the stuff that was taped prior to the UK is next weeks show, so I guess the spoilers from the next block will reveal a lot.

I don't know why they'd have any result other than Nakamura going over clean. Finn doesn't need to be protected anymore, he's surely leaving during the draft?

I have a sneaking suspicion Nakamura vs Finn might be middling, just because Balor rarely seems to get out of second gear in any of his matches. Just when you think the match is starting to heat up, it ends.

It might be due to the fact he hasn't had a carb in about 7 years and struggles for energy.

It really depends on the amount of time the match is given, I think if they give it the majority of hour it should be good, if they only give it like 10 mins. it's going to be another underwhelming Balor match.

We’re back to one of the things NXT does best as there’s a major match in a few weeks and a few things in between to tide us over. Tonight we have Carmella vs. Alexa Bliss, which has the potential to be something interesting and then be a bigger match down the line. The tag division is heating up again as well so let’s get to it.

Mojo Rawley is ready. Put some gas in his ass, call Vince, give him the strap.

He's got more character in his little pinky in one tag match than I've seen out of Austin Aries in two Takeover matches.

Rawley vs. Corbin is a Wrestlemania main event and I'm pretty sure I'm not even joking.

The problem with Rawley's little pinky character is that it's the character of an overbearing douchebag who fans will quickly turn on.

I know, it's perfect!

Rawley is A-grade heel material. You could see glimpses of it in the match with GarCiampa. When he decapitated Gargano with the clothesline on the outside, you could see him soaking in the heat like a pro.

Plus he does the POUNCE. Monty Brown is spinning in his grave...with JOY.

Keeping Bayley off the main roster until after Summer Slam is a good idea despite what some people may think. Not because she needs more time, but because her debut should count and not get lost in the draft shuffle.

Agreed. Though I'll be at the draft show and nothing would make me happier than to see Bayley. But it's probably better to hold her off a bit.

We’re picking up where last week’s show left off with the tag team division getting the focus. Last week saw American Alpha saying they deserve a title shot so tonight it’s Alpha vs. the Revival in a 2/3 falls match. These teams have some of the best chemistry you’ll see in a long time so this has a lot of potential. Let’s get to it.

Fantastic 2/3 falls match.

Although the 2nd fall came far, far too quickly and should have had another few sequences in between, they managed to avoid the major trope of having the first two falls happen within 6 minutes of the opening bell and then just having a normal match.

Also good to see no one got pinned off a particularly stiff atomic drop or a missile dropkick or whatever the fuck people get pinned by in Survivor Series matches.
