Also, I don't know what's going to happen with Nia and Asuka. I'm worried about what a loss would do to either of them.
I agree that a loss to Nia would hurt Asuka a bit, as she shouldn't be losing to any current NXT female, with the possible exception of Bayley's assumed eventual redemption.
But I don't think losing to Asuka hurts Nia at all. She's a monster and can rebuild the majority of her mystique simply by stringing together a few solid dominant outings against the mid tier of the division. And at that point you can build her back to another eventual title shot, with a new wrinkle- sure she can dominate the lesser competition and even defeat the top names(shown by the win over Bayley), but- when all the chips are on the table, can she win the big one?
Went to a NXT show and literally the only guy to be booed was Elias Samson. Even the Revival were cheered, mostly for putting on the best match of the night with American Alpha, but Samson was basically booed out of the building. Some of if was likely due to his spot on the card, the main event teaming with Joe taking on Finn and Nakamura, but the guy just isn't clicking with the crowd.
