The FalKon's Nest (a.k.a. Unilateral agreement about how much Kermit sucks)

Damn. I asked that question because I literally wanted to know the number of female characters there has ever been in the fed. Only other female competitor you left out is Aubrey Sloan I think.

You wanted a list? Here you go:

  • Amber Warren (Jam)
  • Aubrey Sloan (Harthan)
  • Aurelia Molotov (Echelon)
  • Celeste Crimson (Echelon)
  • Eve Taylor (FalK)
  • Ilapa (Thriller)
  • Isabel Stone (Jessie Lynn)
  • Kagura Ohzora (Echelon)
  • Lexi Hayes (Rated R Nightmare)
  • Sandy Deserts (FalK)

According to the Released Roster page, there was also "The H.B.I.C" Paige & Heidi. However, Paige was never booked for a match and Heidi was an NPC who got involved but never wrestled... so I left them off the list.

Top 3 most underrated characters in the fed right now?

1. Veejay

Dorian Slaughter & Veejay came in and rose the ranks simultaneously. With Dorian's involvement in the Elite and beating some high-profile guys, I feel the spotlight has shifted to him. Veejay is still a solid competitor who took out Chris K.O in the first round of the GR tournament. Great writer and will do well should Cyberpunk continue here.

2. Ramparte

Dynamite's learning curve here is tremendous, starting off with RPing as a joke character to honing a solid, serious character in Flex. Upon joining Cerberus, Eve too has skyrocketed... so I feel these two have almost overshadowed Ramparte. He's the dark horse of the group.

3. Mikey Stormrage

This may come as a surprise to some to see Mikey in the underrated and not overrated section. Reason I chose him as the third was not only due to lack of choices (I feel everyone else is rated fairly or have yet to be around long enough to be rated) but because he's been a x2 Tag champ, x1 Eurasian champ & defeated the The Sacrificial Altar in a year-long feud. Since the EA title loss, Mikey's seemed to gather some heat from people for being overrated... but Yaz being head guy of the fed for a long time (officially and unofficially) will drain you when it comes to RPing. He's been facing against top contenders every round and when he doesn't lose legitimately, he takes the fall or gives up the win for storyline purposes.

Don't get me wrong, Yaz has done a couple of things questionable with Mikey but for the most part, it's a solid character with solid RPs yet I get the vibe (past mainly) that people think he's terrible. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

Is there a brief historical thread for WZCW? Like to see how everything came to be for guys like Burna, Showtime, Titus etc.

Who turns heel first: Cena or Daggershield?

What could I work on to make Ramparte really strike out as somebody to watch out for?

I actually had grand ideas to continue the WZCW Network Presents series I started with the Buried Alive match. However I soon realized I could not quote and paste old matches without my semi mod powers. I might still do it and just link to the matches, might make it easier and I could go back and discuss the major feuds for the big names.

The closest we have are the Hall of Fame inductees posts in the HoF thread. They provide a small synopsis of their careers where you can reference to go back into the old shows and read their matches/big moments... but that's only three guys. For everyone else, it requires you to go back and read.

There has always been talk about doing something like this but due to the amount of history we have here, we don't have the time to go back and re-record all history into a neat little package... we barely get by with the shows.

Who turns heel first: Cena or Daggershield?

Setting aside my personal opinions on why Cena isn't any alignment or (at the very least) a face, it'll be Theron Daggershield due to what he can do with his character. He's got the opportunity to turn one person screwing him over massively via cheating and develop a inner hatred towards the other players in WZCW who don't play by the rules, eventually becoming the Dungeon Master and rigging WZCW, essentially becoming the guy who cheats all the time...

... but that's the fantasy booker in me.

Right now, you are somebody to watch out for as a member of Cerberus. No matter or gimmicks, we mesh extremely well together (especially Ramparte/Flex) so it's not much of a problem. The only thing I can suggest is to win a string of matches or defeat a very high-calibre competitor if you ever have that opportunity. People will be looking out for you as a threat or a hot commodity and watch out for you.

Tip (This for everyone as well): Simplify your RP ideas so everyone can understand and/or explain the complexities in your RP's in a simple fashion so people can understand what you're doing. You've got a good gimmick that has the ability to go over peoples' heads if you don't watch out. You're doing fine now but just something to remember, really.

If you need a semi-mod to copy and paste matches for you or anything else to help you with this, hit me up.

I've stated before that I might never turn Theron. Not because he cannot work as a heel (which I at one point thought) but because I only have one or two ideas for what I'd do with an evil version of The Warblade, neither of which I particularly like. Yours is better, but it's not something I could see him doing. Whereas if he remains the heroic type, I have enough material to keep writing for at least the next year. Never is a strong word.... but for what it's worth as Theron's handler, my money's on Cena in this question.

EDIT: On a related note.... Who was the face that had the longest run without turning and do you recall how long this lasted? What about on the heel side the coin?

If you've got material for eons as a face, continue as a face... but I would suggest keeping the heel turn as a last resort should you wish to continue RPing as Theron but find it very difficult to write. Always keep options open.

Steven Holmes as a heel & Titus as a face. Both men were basically the same alignment for the entirety of their careers. They've come close (Steven Holmes killing Crashin at KC III & Titus as Red Mask) but otherwise, they've been the same.

What about all the Vixens... or are we pretending they didn't exist? That's probably for the best.

What were things you liked and didn't like about my Lexi Hayes RP's? What were things you liked and didn't like about the character?

Favorite song so far from Endless Forms Most Beautiful? My top 3 at the moment are Shudder Before The Beautiful, Alpenglow, and Edema Ruh. I love the whole thing though.

They were a one-time attraction and never heard from again, except for Sandy who became a wrestler and a couple of other girls who were featured as NPC's.

I count them as an experiment over anything else.

I apologise for not responding quickly.

Lexi Hayes felt like a fictional character who somehow wound up in WZCW. I know this sounds like the backstory of almost every character ever but the RPer's who make it tell their stories as if they were born to be a wrestler and whatever their gimmick/previous job is secondary. Lexi just felt like a southerner story, not a wrestler's story.

The gimmick also felt a bit one-dimensional for you as a face. You'd probably have more success as a heel character but remained the lovely southern belle as you were as a face just on an extremely annoying level (i.e. Bo Dallas). You'd be telling people "bless your heart" and pointing out their flaws with a smile on your face... the paths you could take are pretty good. I can honestly see an elegANT vs. heel Lexi Hayes feud being one of the best things ever. Heel Lexi asking Kagura how she can wrestle with smaller eyes since her vision would be distorted or telling Eve she really appreciates her inventing pizza but she invest in some overalls as it would look better on her. Shit like that.

To sum up: you were writing a fan-fiction story about a southerner girl who was apparently a wrestler instead of writing a fan-fiction story about a wrestler who was apparently a southerner girl, someone (I believe) would do much as a heel than a face.

That album has been a complete disappointment from me. I felt like they wasted the amazing talent of Floor Jansen on a fucking folk metal album. Serious Nightwish, folk metal? I understand bands need to evolve but what Floor brings to the table shouldn't instantly equate to folk metal. They should be giving her the ability to showcase her Tarja-like vocal range whilst becoming pop-esque when they had Olzon.

Rant aside, the only song I like from the album thus far is Elan and that's because it was released as a single on Spotify and I've been listening to it for a while, getting used to it enough to like it. I'd have to listen to the album a few more times over before I can establish a Top 3, if I can pick 3 from this album.

I have a question for you: have you heard of Floor's other work? If you haven't, check out one of her former bands (and most succesfully prior to fronting Nightwish) After Forever. She can really hit those high notes and keep up with any song pace. A beautiful mixture between both previous Nightwish vocalists.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed by it. We may have to disagree there. I rank it 3rd overall behind Oceanborn and Century Child (my #1 and 2 respectively), just barely being better than the hugely underrated Imaginaerum. Did you go into it with expectations similar to her work in other bands? Even if you had gone into it expecting Tarja-era similarities or Anette-era similarities that would not have been fair in my opinion. I went into it with no major expectations given Nightwish with Floor is a new combination of talent. This was their first official release together. Maybe you will like future work of this Nightwish lineup better, they did improve with the 2nd Anette album compared to DPP. Give it another chance. Maybe it will grow on you. DPP had to grow on me, but once it did I really enjoyed it. This one I loved instantly, but that's just me.

I have heard of her other work but not done any extensive listening. Can you recommend anything? Album tracks only if so, I don't like to use live videos for first impressions of a song/group.

Honestly, I expected Nightwish to highlight the talents of their new singer rather than branch off somewhere new with their music. I don't believe Floor is the type of singer you want fronting folk metal. The time had passed when Annette left.

When Arch Enemy acquired Alissa as their new frontwoman, they went back to basics with their first album with her to show why she belongs. I figured they would use the same formula. I know it's only one band but it's an example.

I will give it a listen a few more times and see how I go. My main issue is mis-use of talent rather than Nightwish going folk metal, really. I have nothing against that particular genre.

Energize Me and Discord by After Forever are two of my favourite songs from her former band. Powerful octaves. They sound similar to Epica.

How much does Kermit suck?

More than a prostitute from the 99c store but at least she gets paid for sucking so hard.

Thoughts on my new character and what is the best thing going in WZCW right now?

Your librarian character has a lot of potential. Something we haven't seen before yet as a wrestling character so it'll be interesting to see in writing. I'm both excited and fearful of the outcome. I'll be keeping a close eye.

Since Veejay left, both guys in the World title match. Killjoy has been doing some amazing work with Tastic (and I've been around since his very first RP) and Bagpipes took a tried gimmick and struck gold. There are so many times you can re-invent a character but Bagpipes managed to squeeze another usage.

I'm going to ask both of the handlers this. What are your thoughts on Kagura and Eve forming a team at some point and becoming potentially the first team made up of only females to hold the Tag Team Championship? It didn't quite get to happen with Eve and Sloan, but is this something we could see later down the line?

Ech & I have paired up on multiple occasions with different characters so the teamwork/connection is there. We've been around forever and neither are looking to stop. Whilst my goals are to eventually win something big like the Lethal Lottery (first ever for me) to headline Kingdom Come or make Eve Taylor the first-ever female World champion, I'd like to also like to get Eve Taylor as apart of the first-ever female tag team to hold the titles... so yes, I'd like to do it. Kagura/Taylor seems like the best (and only) option right now but I'm not sure how we'd do it (Kagura being babyface/Taylor being a bitch heel).

Sloan & Taylor were almost going to be a partnership (not tag team) and we could've challenged Cerberus for the Tag Team titles instead of HMP but due to Harthan's slow decline in activity & reliability as an RPer (and creative member), I decided to take Dynamite's offer in joining Cerberus instead. Very happy with the decision as I feel like this has been the best work I've done in my 6-7 years of writing RP's for WZCW. Writing as a heel is almost new territory for me so it's fun to experience. I've been heel before with Steven Kurtesy (and if you wish to count them, my brief stints with Ashleigh FalKon & my All-Stars characters) but never to the extent I've been with Eve Taylor. Personally, I feel like this is my first proper run at being a heel.

After reading this you have me curious. From favorite to least favorite, how would you rank your characters you have RP'ed as? Based off how much you liked writing them, not necessarily their accomplishments.

Speaking of Cerberus, should Ramparte (Spidey) & Flex Mussel (Dynamite) want to become apart of the record books, they must still be WZCW Tag Team Champions by the time Redemption is finished. Doing so will make them the first ever team to be champions for longer than 10 rounds and the third team in history to defend their titles twice (assuming they only defend at KC & Redemption)... a feat which will require 2 and a half more months to achieve! Going by the assumption in the parenthesis, the next title defense would be at Apocalypse, adding another 4 rounds to the record & another 2 more months as a team. If they want to be the only team to defend thrice in 1 reign, they'll need to win at Apocalypse as well.

On top of all this, you have to consider how long Cerberus has been around as a team and look at possibly making this achievements possible. It's a lot of time and dedication both members have to put into the team. Much harder than it seems on the outside.

Who would've thought right Falk?

Do you find it harder to write a female character as opposed to a male one? Personally I'd think it's much harder, due to me really trying to became Logan as much as possible while writing/brainstorming.

Gender is completely irrelevant to me when it comes to writing stories. I care more about the character and their gimmicks, mannerisms and speech over anything else, as should with every writer. Gender is just another characteristic you choose to better suit the character and the story. I share the same view with sexuality as well: doesn't matter whether a character is gay, straight or one of the others that I cannot seem to remember... as long as it fits the character and the story. I mean, Eve Taylor was (and possibly still is) in love with Aubrey Sloan. Does that mean she's a lesbian? No, it doesn't, but I wrote it because of the story. Similar situation has happened between Flex Mussel & Eve, too.

Plus, I'm the kind of person who will ALWAYS choose a female character should I be given the opportunity. Video games, board games, roleplaying, costume parties... I will do my darnedest to choose a female character. Not sure if that's healthy or not, though.

I considered a female character at first, but decided to go with Logan as he is basically an exaggerated version of me. Maybe down the line I'll give it a try.....but that'd only be if Logan was dead in the water as to where to proceed(which *fingers crossed* doesn't happen for quite awhile)

Is there a chance Eve re-designs the belt to make it more stylish?

(Not asking for the sole fact she's a woman, but because it seems fitting in-character)

It's an idea I played around with when I won the Eurasian championship but it ended up being a short reign so it didn't play out. If I hold onto the Elite X title for a while, I might go for a re-design but considering the Elite X title has changed many times over the years, it's not fashionable for Eve to re-crown the Elite X title again probably. I'll see how thing's pan out.

If I ever won KFAD with Eve, there is an idea for Eve to trade in the briefcase for a stylish handbag.
