The FalKon's Nest (a.k.a. Unilateral agreement about how much Kermit sucks)

I am not blaming the tag division for holding back on singles pushes, its a stigma I'd like to help remove, Rush, Smith and perhaps Vega burnt out because they crushed all the opposition trying to get their mid-card titles, something that is well established, and myself, Barbosa and Saboteur came out of the division almost straight into the main event, Barbosa won the title, Saboteur left and I was in a number 1 contenders match before real life hit me with a bombshell.

Its a stigma I'd like to remove, its one of the best divisions to get yourself into.

Oh okay, we're talking about two different things then, once KC is over I'm hoping for a new team or two as the singles belts will hopefully be busy enough that it'll force people to do it.

Just like to add to the conversation: the longest any tag team champions have held the title has been 10 rounds. There are four tag teams that have hit this record (Full House Daves, Brothers in Arms, Runn Reynolds Runn & Action Saxton/Saboteur's [including Saboteur's solo run] 2nd reign). There a few teams who hit the 9 round mark as well. Then again, a majority of tag teams were only able to last one cycle (i.e. win at a PPV, lose at the next).

Also, it is a rarity to see any tag teams not only win the titles but successfully defend them as well. There are only a handful of teams to defend the titles once and only two teams in history to defend them twice, one of them being Runn Reynolds Runn who also hit the 10 round mark (so one could assume they were the best tag team in history?)

---------------------------------

What I can deduce from this information:

  • It is difficult for two (or more) individuals to synchronise for more than 2 months.
  • New tag teams establish themselves and bring fresh ideas/become "flavour of the cycle" teams.

Every tag team champion succumbed to one, if not both reasons listed above.

I can confirm this as a tag team veteran in WZCW. Teach N' Kurtesy fell to the wayside due to reason 1; Crashin Movement won and lost the titles due to reason 2; Fairy Glitter Armageddon came into WZCW at the wrong place, wrong time so a mixture of both reasons; & Sloan/Taylor gained momentum but it wasn't something we wished to pursue as a team (reason 1). Cerberus is still going but I'm technically more a manager/singles wrestler than a tag team wrestler so results are best dealt with analysing Mussel/Ramparte.

---------------------------------

Speaking of Cerberus, should Ramparte (Spidey) & Flex Mussel (Dynamite) want to become apart of the record books, they must still be WZCW Tag Team Champions by the time Redemption is finished. Doing so will make them the first ever team to be champions for longer than 10 rounds and the third team in history to defend their titles twice (assuming they only defend at KC & Redemption)... a feat which will require 2 and a half more months to achieve! Going by the assumption in the parenthesis, the next title defense would be at Apocalypse, adding another 4 rounds to the record & another 2 more months as a team. If they want to be the only team to defend thrice in 1 reign, they'll need to win at Apocalypse as well.

On top of all this, you have to consider how long Cerberus has been around as a team and look at possibly making this achievements possible. It's a lot of time and dedication both members have to put into the team. Much harder than it seems on the outside.

I still think there should be an asterisk on that RRR second title defense seeing as Darren Bull no-showed and we only received a title shot because we were an easy win and they wanted to extend their title defenses knowing they would lose at KC that year.

Aside from all that I'm proud just to have been a part of a (for the most part) successful team that has lasted almost a year. All those stats you bring up get me giddy but that's a long path filled with uncertainty. Anything can happen though, you've definitely helped in some way Falk.

Did you ever think you'd be giving up Kurtesy and working with the dude who wrote an alien?

I don't know what to expect so I'm going to answer no for a lot of similar questions. There haven't been many times I knew what was going to happen when I looked into the future. Hell, Dr. Zeus and Steven Kurtesy only happened thanks to a suggestion by JGlass.

I never thought you and I would be working together but I have been here for a very long time and I don't see myself leaving any time soon so it's not a stretch to work with/fight against most of the people in the fed.

You were the genius that decided to team with Awesome_Miz. The only teams that were not in the three way ladder match at Kingdom Come were you and the tag team that had Milenko playing a Samurai or some shit. Hardly Numbers' or I's fault.

You more than anyone should be well aware that everyone makes mistakes, there was no logical reason for any of those two teams to receive a shot before KC than to extend the record. Not a big deal or anything, but that's pretty much the reason why.

Dynamite, I'm so sorry it took me so long to get into the fed.

Looking at that tag team stat does make me want to push harder to cement Cerberus's status as a top duo/trio. Working with you guys has been a blast thus far.

Since I'm here I'll ask a question for ya Falk. Is Eve Taylor the first manager in WZCW history? And if there ever was a breakup as stables and tag teams are wont to do, who would she consider teaming up with first - Ramparte or Flex? and why

There have been many managers in WZCW but active wrestlers/active RPers who are solely managers? Doug Crashin was the manager of the Crashin Movement the round Holmes and Kurtesy were tag team champions but that was because he was out for a while. Plus, Eve might be a manager in some weird definition of the word because she still wrestles. Doesn't exactly count.

Ramparte and Taylor could be the dream team of Tyler & Summer as the Breeze couple, one focused on looks and inner beauty. Flex and Taylor could play an awesome Simon Dean package where we go telling people to stop being fat and ugly. Both are good possibilities but it depends if I want to go serious or over the top. Serious: Ramparte & Taylor. Comedic: Flex & Taylor

Before you brought in Eve, did you have another character in mind?

What's one gimmick that you've never seen done (or done right) in WZCW that you'd like to see?

I wanted to bring in Eve Taylor instead of Sandy Deserts but bad applications for Eve forced me to do otherwise... so no, I have wanted to write for Eve for a long while now.

Um... I have yet to see a circus act. There are people who have had parts incorporated into their character but nothing as their main gimmick.

You got a singles title before Celeste could. How does it feel to be the first one with a female character to win singles gold?

Feels cool beans, frog man. However, this title win is more significant for me for two reasons:

1) I got another character to not only prominence but championship glory
2) I captured one of the three titles I have yet to hold

It feels great knowing I can adapt, even if it means switching characters and hitting the reset button, and still be able to win championships as well as create great RP's to get to those championships. It's topped off by being able to write a female character and get her to a high position. Makes me feel good that I can write multiple characters and do well instead of being a one hit wonder, y'know?

Yeah, it is also nice to have a variety of options when roleplaying. I feel the same way about Haven, even though it was tag gold instead of singles. I feel as though if I ever get burnt out on Chris I have an option to pick up where the Haven left off and put Chris on the injured list. My secondary character already has his teeth cut in the fed and can set up to be a contender for the mid-card scene easily.

Happy for you, mate. As I am for Dave, but Viktor isn't a female... that I know of.

I feel like with the laws around many countries changing and our society being extremely progressive in the last few years have allowed Dynamite and I to be apart of a long and fruitful relat-

Oh wait, you're referring to your RP's, weren't you?

Also, I have the ability to change the title of my own thread but since it requires little-to-no effort, I'm not going to bother so in spirit of keeping this thread true: you and your question sucks, Kermit.

Speaking of your legacy:

I had an idea for All-Stars to submit a character known as Thai Bella: Ty Burna accidentally performs a ritual spell from the Ouija Board incorrectly and turns himself into the world's most famous lady-boy from Thailand but I decided against it because I'm not sure how you'd take it.

I'll ask all three of you. If Cerberus recruited a 4th member, who would it be? Must be someone from the current roster.

Cerberus is a Three Headed dog so having three people in the stable makes perfect sense. Any more (or less) wouldn't exactly work, a criticism Dynamite/Spidey received when they first made the team. However, I shall be ignoring this to answer your question for something more fantasy-related:

elegANT would be a great addition. Cerberus is all about beauty and elegANT knows how to dress and conduct himself. Plus, he is super friendly to heels so the dynamic would be fun to play.

Mikey would be a second pick but more as a brainwashing thing. Mikey is the complete opposite of what Cerberus stands for so transforming him into a beautiful machine could be cool.

Rank the top 5 female characters in WZCW history.

We don't have a huge array of female characters throughout our history but I'll do my best.

1. Celeste Crimson

No-one else will ever deserve this spot.

  • First-ever competitive female character
  • First-ever female champion
  • First-ever female Tag Team champion (x1)
  • Competed on first-ever WZCW show
  • Been apart of many memorable feuds, matches & moments
  • Guaranteed entry into the Hall of Fame

[From here, it's extremely hard due to a lack of accomplishments.]

2. Eve Taylor

  • First-ever female singles champion
  • First-ever female Eurasian champion (x1)
  • Member of memorable stable

3. Becky Serra

  • First-ever female General Manager
  • First-ever female interviewer
  • Many memorable promo's & interviews

4. Amber Warren

  • 1x Tag Team champion
  • Member of memorable tag team
  • First-ever female character to participate in a stable

5. Kagura Ohzora

  • First-ever female Elite X champion (x1)

----------------------------------

Honourable Mention to Serafina for being arguably the greatest NPC to a competitive character in WZCW history... however, she's Ty Burna's NPC and I'm not sure how I can measure her accomplishments, so I've given her the honourable mention instead of being on the list.

Damn. I asked that question because I literally wanted to know the number of female characters there has ever been in the fed. Only other female competitor you left out is Aubrey Sloan I think.

Top 3 most underrated characters in the fed right now?
