The Doctor's Office

A live action Battle Network movie would be great. I mean, it's not like it's hard. The anime was absolutely stellar, as was the anime movie. A Hollywood movie would be easy if done right.
The Battle Network games were so kickass. The game is pretty easily adaptable to script, too.

Tetris > Everything.
Truer words have never been said.

It's sure to be better than that POS "The Hero of Time".
Damn, that came out? I didn't even know it was coming out. I heard about it a while ago, and never really followed up on it.

Ninty sued the balls off of those guys. You can only find it through questionable means nowadays.

Don't bother. It's rubbish.

That's the thing I don't understand about people making Fan Films. Why spend all that time and money on something that can never make you any money. I mean it makes sense I guess if you did it for school or something, but a full-length film costs money (even no-budget films).

I probably wouldn't have watched it, only because I never would have heard about it again. I never got into all this fan stuff. I watched the MegaMan one because I had 2 hours to kill, and was really surprised.

Am I the only one who thinks the effects weren't awesome? I mean there were times where I thought the effects looked painfully obvious. It didn't detract from the film (it might have even helped it).

To me, some of the effects looked like they were done using a really shitty program. Especially the ice and fire effects. Bombs were well done though.

Did you notice Bombman looks like a chicken?

I almost want to go into film, JUST so I can direct a Mega Man film to my liking. And an Airborn (by Kenneth Oppel) film. And a No More Heroes film. And a MEga Man Battle Network film.

There are so many games that would make GREAT movies. Hollywood is sitting on a goldmine. A good movie based on a good videogame would make a ton of money.

Honestly, to me, anything based on anime, should stay as such. Else we'll end up with american fuck-ups like the 2 Street Fighter movies, DBZ, Dead Or Alive, and uh.. :banghead: I don't even want to remember any more of them. By the way, there is a Megaman.exe movie.

Fuck that, Hollywood will butcher and rape your favorite video game franchises into some of the worst cinema you've ever seen!

I guess this leads me to some questions:

When you go to watch a Video Game/Graphic Novel/Anime based film, what are you looking for? Are you happy with characters, settings, and plots derived very loosely from the source? Or are you more of a "this bitch better be canon!" type viewer? Will you be offended if the makers take great liberties in shaping the source material into being a film?

Just finished the Mega Man movie. I was marking out, HARD through the whole thing. It was done almost to perfection. I had a massive grin on my face the whole way through. Now imagine if that movie was done professionally. I'd have to change my pants after every viewing. LOL.

I marked hardest for the videogame music turned orchestral (including a certain theme which I won't spoil). Oh, and the use of "I Want To Be The One".

Just how loose was the DBZ flick? It seemed like an adopted bastard child found in a trash can.

Come on. Mortal Kombat was the only one done right.

You really love The Megas, dont you Doc?

I love The Megas, and the Protomen. I'd want them to make the soundtrack for an official Mega Man film.

Feet up in front of the TV watching the end of the football season, 24 and House with a lot of unhealthy junk food after a great Sunday dinner plus a couple of DVDs added to my collection for about $3...

Not a bad anniversary of my arrival on this earth

Happy birthday!

You may have junk food...but is any of it comparable to fried cheesecake?

It sounds awful until you try it.

I want Cadbury's. Has the Kraft purchase lessened the quality of the chocolate?

My mother just grounded me from watching NXT this week because I've been oversleeping, not practicing piano, and I stayed up on the computer past 8:30 today.

FUCKBALLS
