The Doctor's Office

Awww, only a comic and not a cartoon? Oh well, I'll still buy the comic when it's released.

Fucking hell century chapter II's been put back AGAIN as if a year wasn't enough.

After a whole quarter of writing paper after paper and speech after speech, you have no idea how wonderful it is to finally have some free time. I just wish my computer wasn't broken; I'm on my old netbook. It works, but it's jerky, not good for doling out infractions. ;)

Also, the demo for the new Mortal Kombat game was released on PSN yesterday. I played it, and it is AWESOME. Super violent, two-dimensional, good looking, and the X-Ray Moves are actually awesome and add to the violence.

So last night I ate the second half of my Meatball, pepperoni sub from subway, then 4 mini Jimmy Dean Sausage biscuits, and at around 1 am I had a couple pieces of peanut butter toast... that's more than I usually eat at night

That said I would like someone to explain why the fuck I woke up starving?:headstratch:

Is Cage in it?

Nicholas Cage? I would love to play a game where I tear his head off or impale him or somthin' for all his shitty acting (especially in Ghost Rider)

Apparently Johnny cage is based on Nicholas who got his name from Luke so technically Johnny Cage is based on Luke Cage.

Johnny Cage is in the new Mortal Kombat game (which I've been drooling over for months).

Wish they were not assholes and released the X-Box demo too. Not coming out for a week or so.

Yeah, the four playable characters in the PSN demo are Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Mileena. The stages are The Pit and The Living Forest (and you can finally knock people into the trees for a fatality!). What I love about this is how easy the controls are to pick up this go around. Previous MK games always confused me. Fatalities are actually possible now! All in all it looks great.

I've never really been much of a fan for fighting games (outside of WWE of course), I just find myself getting bored quickly

When you say previous MK games, you mean the 3d ones (Armageddon, Deception, Deadly Alliance), or the 2D ones (4, Trilogy, Ultimate 3, 3, 2, 1)?

Oh, and not only is Johnny Cage in the game, but his ego has gotten so damn big that he now has his name tattooed across his chest. Here is a screenshot of Johnny:

Honestly I'm the same way. My friend Alex loves fighting games so we always end up playing them whenever I go to his house. Sometimes I wish we'd play a platformer or something else.

Just in general. Ultimate 3 for SNES was confusing, and the Fatalities in 4 were imposible. Other MK games I played were just complicated in some way. This was easy to pick up, and I like that a lot. Too many games today try to be so innovative or complex that they forget to be fun.

Outside of Zelda, I don't have the attention span for most RPG games and find a lot of FPS to be repetitive and boring after awhile as well

I like plat-formers, stuff like Prince of Persia, God of War, Tomb Raider, Devil May Cry(just the first one), were all games I really enjoyed, I also hate games that I can't just pick up an play, Mario and Sonic are always safe bets as well

Speaking of Zelda, I might try finally finishing Majora's Mask over spring break. I've never beaten it myself. I'm on Great Bay Temple. What an awesome game.

I'm also replaying Link's Awakening, and Mega Man Battle Network 2. I love emulation on the Wii!!

Zelda's more action adventure than RPG I think that's why it holds a bigger appeal to me.

I do love a good RPG, but I prefer action-adventure ones like Zelda or the Mega Man Battle Network series. I like actually doing things in combat, and am not a fan of turn-based at all.

Turn based is good if it makes me give a crap about the characters, things like fire emblem and dragon quest VIII being fine examples.

I reported that Decarow post days ago, and it never got deleted. :icon_neutral:
