Venom or should I say Eddie Brock was really odd. The first two uses of him are excellent. I LOVE that second appearance of his. Afterwards he just horribly deteriorated. The Last Temptation of Eddie Brock's a good, recent arc though.

They didn't so much botch him, as tried to shoehorn him into a film with a half dozen different plots so he didn't really get the time he needed to not be a shitty character in a shitty film.
