The Cena Promo On Raw This Week...

Though I do find it funny when people call wrestlers by their real names.

It was great work by those men.

However, the words from John Cena really kind of piss me off. This angle between them is based on reality, I wouldn't doubt with Lawler getting taking to the hospital, that emotions were high and Cena seemed to just have enough of bickering back and forth with Punk. I don't know how it was scripted to go, with Punk involed I'd like to say it's more of a guideline than a script... if that's the case, Cena really pissed me off.

Who the fuck is Cena to bury Punk like he has been? Cena put a horrible spin on the truth to make Punk look like absolute shit. I swear WWE is trying to find a way to kill Punk's overness, and they have been. Cena saying the title is irrelevant cause of Punk is bullshit, it's not Punk's fault the WWE brass haven't let ANYONE besides HHH or John Cena main event a PPV since 2005.

Bret Hart with a great put up to CM Punk comparing him to HBK, which is accurate, then Cena just fucking spits on Bret's opinoin and tells him hes wrong. Cena really pushed my buttons this week. An angle that is based a lot on the truth of Punk's rise and how he got where he is, we are seeing Punk's true colors. I mean it is true that CM Punk's speech was not to start neccesarily to start a revolution but to get him over. Not entirely though, as Punk knows WWE still does need to change in the direction of better in ring WRESTLERS...

and Cena is just like a big cock block for this change. He's one of the laziest and poorest wrestlers on the roster. Montreal even let him know that. If Cena derails Punk, I will be broken. It will just show the WWE hasn't changed at all, and Punk was just lucky to slip through the cracks and get over.

Hey want that new Rock/Cena, once in a lifetime DVD? Don't fucking think about buying it, cause Cena/Rock is going to happen at the Rumble again. I fear.

What else did Cena say.. Punk has kept the title by any means nessecary? Come on.. if he even has a dirty title retain, it's most recently. He cleanly beat the likes of Miz, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho, Daniel Bryan, Kane... so what the fuck is Cena smoking to LIE like that... and then call Punk a liar.

Like I said, well worked segment, very emotional, I believe their is even a bit of genuine heat between the two. WWE has been doing everything in their power to make sure Cena gets cheered and Punk gets booed at Night of Champions in Cena's hometown. Which might I add, usually hates Cena. So once again, seems like their warming Cena's waist up.

Fuck John Cena, you don't disrespect the champion like you did.

The segment was incredible, but leave it to another Cena hater, to come in and bash Cena as always, most of the time just to stir up controversy. Honestly if the internet didn't exist, I would love to see how many people truly hate Cena or how many just follow the crowd?

Brainwashed the young people of the audience is more like it. They just accept what they are told, even if it is wrong. Especially from someone like John Cena.
Damn kids! Why can't they understand wrestling like us mature people! It annoys me to no end how they'll believe someone just because he's a "good guy".

Fuck all the faces. We need to get rid of all the faces and only have heels. And while we're at it, we need to only focus on the guys who can WRESTLE, not guys like Cena or Sheamus or Undertaker or Triple H. I want guys who know how to WRESTLE.

I have seen the light, the prophecy as spoken by Jus Dynamite.

Their too immature to decide truth and think for themselfs.
It's ridiculous when they let themselves be worked and believe what wrestlers tell them. It's like how they believe a certain wrestler is a good wrestler because he tells them he is.

So gullible.

Damn I owned you guys so much in this thread. I bet your all feeling butt hurt right about now. Peace Out!
This is the third time you've threatened to leave, but luckily for me you keep coming back.

Please enlighten us more. Perhaps you can tell us more about Phillip or maybe Glenn?

Damn those kids indeed. I want to learn more about Paul, Mark, Michael and Adam.

I was building up for a response like that hoping Sam would do it.

Decided to come back and check on my star pupil.

See in my golden post I tried not to say Cena can't wrestle. I mean he's kind of poor at it. But I'll admit he does have some talent, and can do... some... moves.

It's the work ethic I was talking about. I'm a big fan of the actual IN RING wrestling, which is why this is bothering me so much. It's Cena's work ethic. The dude doesn't try to make the match feel competitve or like theres a fight going on in the ring. He doesn't try to control his opponent often, which is what you do in a fight.

Cena just goes through the motions..

Come to the ring... get beaten down(very unbelievable), wait for the Cenation to wake him up... do a shoulder block followed by a side suplex, you cant see him, he runs to the ropes and does a fist drop... his opponent slowly staggers to their feet while John Cena hoists them up for an AA. Then John Cena 50% of the time stumbles half way across the ring so his opponent can grab the rope and counter.

Don't you remember when Chavo Guerrero lashed out at Cena on twitter? He called him lazy among other things. This is what he was talking about. Cena doesn't attempt to do anything MORE than he HAS to.

Back to why I qouted your post. When I talk about wrestling, I'm not really talking about grappling all that much. I'm talking about the general thing that happens when a bell rings in Pro Wrestling promotion. You talk about not focusing on guys like Sheamus, Undertaker. Well I don't stand by that viewpoint, because they make an effort to look like their's an actual in ring competion going on. They throw punches instead of throwing someone in an wrist lock, it works, they make it look like a fight. That's their job. Cena does not make it look like a fight.

Sheamus has had numerous back and forth battles with wrestlers, Daniel Bryan, his greatest opponent. But even with others, he has impressed me. Undertaker like Sheamus with the brawling, except a little better of a technician too. Cena doesn't even brawl anymore! He hardly throws punches! He doesn't do anything but lie there! He is the least hard working wrestler on the roster, IMO. But he's a hard working man.. he signs autographs... visits dying kids... he should defiantly hold a title that signifys who the best wrestler is. Not.

This is a WWE problem. I've noticed during HIAC at WM28.. it got incredibly slow and boring at times.. because they are overselling. That's what Cena does in EVERY match. I wanna see guys fighting for position and countering and working against each other like Jericho/Punk from WM28. Not 3 weak ass punches from The Miz putting Cena on the mat for 30 seconds while Miz stands over him and gazes to the crowd having no clue what to do. Here's an idea.. try pinning him so it feels like your actually trying to win a match. In general it seems like the WWE instructs their talent to wrestle as slow possible.

Wait just a damn minute, wrestling is fake? What about Brock? He said he's an asskicker! Wrestling can't be fake though, what about all those long drawn out sequences or those moments when wrestlers just stand in a spot awkwardly for what feels like forever, or how hurricanrana's are realistic?

That's pretty much what I'm talking about and what I hate. Those long drawn out sequences where they just stand around awkwardly. Cena matches' produce those moments way too often. I can't stand it... fucking go after your opponent.

Yeah. I love the hyper-realism of CM Punk signalling for the Go 2 Sleep. It's like watching an actual fight.

Well when Punk does that, at least his opponent had been put through enough moves and holds to make it look like he'd have time to actually do that. Timing.

I used a submission hold on a kid I fought in the fourth grade. Years later, I'd discover the name of that move: Cattle Mutilation. Ironic. He was a pudgy little rut, no doubt.

Sure. When Punk gets beaten down for the majority of a match, he'll usually save his taunting until after he's hit a neckbreaker, a running knee/bulldog combo, and maybe a flying clothesline. At least four big moves. Nothing like Cena. Punk's a wrestler. Cena's just phony baloney.

Another thing to hate about the WWE. Why the fuck isn't D Bryan doing that move?

I'm willing to bet WWE approves certain moves for certain wrestlers, restricting everything. I mean how often do you see a powerbomb these days even? Until Ryback started doing it.. damn.. it had been a while. Back in the day there would be a damn powerbomb every night!

WWE is too controlled. Much like our government. Freedom!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which took all the effectiveness away from the move. Just like the DDT.

That promo was awesome but I got a problem with only one thing: Did Cena acctualy had to degrade Punks reign and WWE championship himself with it? I enjoyed that segment as much as anyone else but even if he had some valid point its not Punk fault that, for example, on Elimination Chamber 2012 Cenas match was last or at Over the Limit were he faced Laurientis that match was last. Its not people who saw Cena as a draw, as more important, its the WWE itself. :)

If the money dictated that Punk were the man, he'd be the man. Simple as. He's had plenty of chances. A year ago I'd have said otherwise, but not now.

It was mentioned because that's one thing people have bitched about for a year.

Yes, although Punk is now a heel, Cena just gave Punk more to prove to the fans and himself. It makes the upcoming match more intriguing. If you're a Punk mark you are that much more interested in seeing Punk finally beat Cena clean and cement his reign as legit. If you're a Cena mark, you want to see if Punk can beeat Cena clean and cement his reign as legit.

What this all means is that it is most likely that Punk will win dirty giving WWE an excuse to redo this and take your money for a third feud in 2013.
