I thought the same when they first announced Thor, but that seem to work out for Marvel, plus I have faith in Edgar Wright.
Rumors of me possibly playing LOBO are true. Joel Silver and Brad Peyton working on it now. That could be fun.
Bucky should've stayed dead.
Disney's Marvel presents: Honey, I shrunk the Superhero
But it'll be nice to see Janet again.
This guy gets it.
Also, Green Lantern isn't that bad. Was expecting a car crash, but the movie was... passable.
Rock on Twitter:
What the fuckity fuck?!
Quite the contrary actually, I only really "bitch" about a scant few things, it just happens that those things seem to repeat over and over again. As to my post, I'm serious about the winter solider but am interested in Ant-Man, and as noted, hope to see Janet van Dyne introduced as I've always had affection for her character. You're one of those fanboys that just bitches about everything aren't you
The Walking Dead #100 is the Best-Selling Comic Book Issue of the 21st Century
by Paul Montgomery
We just got word from Image Comics that Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlards The Walking Dead #100 sold out its print run of just over 375,000 initial orders in its first day. Thats the most since 1997′s The Darkness #11 (also from Image Comics), but that was a whole different millennium and a whole different market.
383,612
Thats what a rabid fan base, a celebrated TV series and 13 crazy covers gets you in todays market. Still, a monstrous success for an indie comics.
Heres what Kirkman had to say about the milestone:
The Walking Dead continues to greatly exceed all my expectations in all forms. I am especially excited for what this means for comics as an industry, that this is an independent comic hitting that number. The future of comics couldnt be brighter as more and more readers are embracing new ideas in a big way.
And Image Publisher Eric Stephenson:
This is a remarkable achievement. Its extremely uncommon, if not flat-out rare, for a comic book to see a sustained increase in sales following its first issue, but The Walking Dead steadily climbed up and up since its launch in 2003, and we couldnt be more proud of Robert, Charlie and the whole Walking Dead team.
Big congratulations to Kirkman, Adlard and Image Comics.
Besides The Batman: Arkham games, when was the last time a game based on a comic has been any good at all?
I've not read any of the Walking Dead comics, however I have found The Walking Dead Compendium Vol. 1 (contains the first 8 tpbs in one book) for about $40 w/ S&H. I'm seriously considering ordering it.

Spiderman 2 for sure
