The 2011 Wrestlezone Tournament Live Draw: February 15

It's that time of year again. We're unveiling the brackets this coming Tuesday at approximately 4pm EST (subject to change).

Just like last year there will be 128 names. We've altered this up a bit this year as we're going to have a combination of seeding and random drawing. We haven't hammered out all the details (or seedings or combatants yet) but I guarantee you we'll have them on time. The first round is going to start up the following Tuesday with a set of first round matches (cities to be announced probably before the draw) with the final being held in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

Like last year I'll be running the tournament, likely with some assistance from a mod or two.

The main regions will be:
Toronto
Los Angeles
Chicago
New York

I need 16 other cities with venues.

It's a tournament format of 128 wrestlers to determine the biggest star ther eis. All non-spam, all debate format, most votes win. It's the biggest event of the year.

Also, and I'm going to get shot for this by various people, there will be far fewer international stars in this tournament. We only considered Japanese and Mexican stars with resumes in America. You can bitch and moan about this all you like, but that's the way it's going to be. I believe the Puro guys in this are Inoki, Liger and Muta. That's it.
