Went to where EastEnders is set today. I did not find a town square with a market, but I did find one of the estates I ever been on. "95% of people here feel safe in their homes" a sign proudly proclaimed, which made me think two things- a) considering about 5,000 people live there, that means there are 250 people who are not safe in their homes and b) If people are unsafe in their homes, Tower Hamlets council just put bars on everything: windows, balconies, doors until they feel safe. Walked past a stabbing scene as well, victim was 18 and the murderer was 16, killed over an argument on Facebook.
I don't know why I've put this here, it was just something depressing I felt like sharing.
