SummerSlam Live Discussion

I still cant get over that. The nash part was cool cause its always cool when nash is involved. But i just think Del rio will make a very poor champion i mean hes been getting too much of a push since he joined the wwe. First the royal rumble then mitb and now this? I didnt like the ending of the match but it cleared the path for another decent re-match and a triple h and cena feud. Its more than likely the adr will retain the title tomorrow but after the nash thing i just cant tell. Whos to say rey wont be going into NOC as the wwe champ.

It's the IWC, and one of their favorites. Rarely do those two factors equal common sense.

I agree with KB that this rage - if there is any - is misplaced, but I will be very, very surprised if it transpires that it was Del Rio that employed Nash. Methinks Stephanie McMahon is a likelier mastermind.

People are worried that Del Rio doesn't get enough heat. This is the perfect time for him to cash in. Cashing in on a tweener like Punk and being thrown into the middle of Punk/Cena/Mysterio will garner heat, not to mention the fact that there is so much focus on Punk/Cena/HHH/Steph/Nash that Del Rio doesn't have to carry the company as the champion.

The triple H era isn't even a month in, and we have already had 4 WWE world Champs! LOL

Punk, Cena, Rey, and now Alberto Del Rio...

LOL

Loved Summer Slam

I do hope the WWE is willing to give us answers to these questions. Let's not have another Nexus/Anonymous GM debacle on our hands.

People need to realise that Punk as champion would get dull very quickly at the moment. He needs to sustain his popularity and in order to do that, he needs to fight the machine. Going over clean against the face of the company two months straight would do nothing for the character. His getting the tainted win and screwed by HHH's buddy works so well for his character.

Del Rio cashing in this way is a case of rehashing how CM Punk got his first World Heavyweight title really. WWE Creative right now is anything but. I haven't seen a MitB winner go and challenge and then have the champion beat up before the match occurs. And by Challenge I mean set a date and then on the day of the event beat him up. That could have been Del Rio.

Cena's foot being on the rope calls for HHH to restart the match from that point thus voiding what Del Rio did and screwing him in the process of all of this?

So many different ways this can go now.. WWE has had my attention in the camel clutch for the last 2 months and doesnt look like their letting up anytime soon.

You know, something just came to my mind.

Triple H is in a way making a shambles of his job from an in-character perspective. If you look at the reasons for McMahon being "relieved of his duties" and then take into account how in the HHH Era there has already been four World Champions, hes made a mistake in a huge WWE Championship match and some could say his decisions are questionable, it kind of makes me think one thing.

Vince McMahon's vengeful return is dawning closer.

... so i come home from work & dont understand...

Technically 3 legitimate claims to a wwe champ remach, yes?

Wow.

Why give Bryan a breifcase if you just deflate his push?

Raw is going to be big.

If Rey Mysterio wins the championship tomorrow night, I will buy a Rey Mysterio mask off of WWE.com and take a picture of myself wearing it.

You can take that to the bank.

Del Rio = Angle when he won his first championship

Seen as a joke and punchline by many but have the talent to perform along with the more established stars. Don't need to be carrying the show as champion since secondary storylines involving the more established stars are carrying the show. Another 6 men hell in a cell would be a dream. :)
