Hell you act like that's impressive or something. I call it a draw. Making $50 a match wrestling in local community centers just doesn't sound like something to be bragging about; it's just a statement of facts and one I'm not entirely proud of as I spent nearly a year of my life and barely broke even doing something that caused various injuries that still linger today. Not really the high point of my life. I don't even know the bitch's last name, haven't spoken more than a couple dozen words to her, and our communication has consisted of "hey are you coming to town this week". "Yep." Then while down there: "hey he's gone, come over." "on the way." And that's all in texts.

From about 2002-2004. Before the BQ exodus. We had over a thousand regular to semi-regular posters, several hundred thousand members, nearly every single thread had stats similar to this one (over a hundred replies, several hundred views or more) instead of 20-50 replies being the average.
The forums even had it's own stand-alone url at the time because most of us didn't visit the main page at all. Then in 2004-05, Brian wanted to position it to sell the site (not that I blame him) and started changing things. It worked though as Crave paid a decent amount for it so it worked out really well in his favor.
The forums, however, have never been the same.

You think this forum gets less traffic because of the people here? And not because internet forums have lost steam since AOL 7.0? For 2012, this forum is doing great.
No the rule changes in late 04-05 and then more strict rules after the crave purchase caused a lot of posters to jump ship. Forum traffic fell 80% in 3 months after the BQ exodus. I've seen Brian's traffic stats for the time... It was brutal. However, it's hard to sell a site with the posts that were on here at the time.
There was a period of about 6 months you couldn't open up any image attachment on here without worrying about goatse or tubgirl searing your eye balls.
But yeah, it was well documented that the rule change and subsequent crackdown caused the drop in traffic.
