Smackdown Live: 2/28. AJ or Luke?

Luke, I love the effort; but I don't think you're going to be needed for this feud after all. Orton and Wyatt have got this all covered.

Have fun at the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal though!

Well that was an awesome final segment and another really good Smackdown.

Why is Smackdown better than Raw? The main reason - they let the stories happen naturally.

Wyatt vs. Orton has had a great build and I'm actually excited to tune in next week to see what they do next. On Raw, it's just "Hey you're getting Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg at WrestleMania!" What's the story? Why is it happening?

The huge difference is the writing and the booking. They put the creative head of NXT in charge at SD Live and look at the change. Blows RAW out of the water almost every week. Almost.

Where did the guy write before NXT? Dude's got a knack for all this writing stuff.

Camerawork was way overdone.
The only shot I didn't like was when they showed him igniting the gasoline. It was done in a very very Soap Opera-y way. I'm fairly certain I've seen a shot exactly like that on Young and the Restless when I used to watch it with my mom. Other than that I really had no problem with the camera work.

The Sister Abigail stuff was a little much for me but I guess they didn't go overboard with it, for a little while I thought they were gonna have Orton dig up a skeleton.

Guess we might be getting Orton vs AJ possibly next week which leads to AJ vs Shane at Mania.

That said, how brilliant has this Orton-Wyatt angle been? The way they have managed to add layers and tell a great long term story has kept me invested throughout. Will be interesting to see how Luke Harper and possibly, Erick Rowan will factor into this story heading into WrestleMania 33.

Great show tonight!
