I'm in shock at myself because I just voted for Cena in something. But anyway, this would be a no contest really. Finlay who?! Finlay is nothing n the WWE and never will be. He's a gimmick guy, and I really don't think he has it to ever become big in the WWE. He has very little, if any, talent and even John Cena would be able to beat him quite easily with this. Hell Cena wins almost every match he's in. He'd FU him after about 5 minutes.

SpotFest 2008!

I gave this one to Jerry Lynn. And it was practically a coin flip. I know Jeff is on a hot streak right now, but I just feel Jerry's versatility and overall body of work leave him a small step ahead of Hardy. This may not be the most popular choice, but between his work in WCW, TNA, WCW (as Mr. JL) and WWE give him the widest range of experiences and make him a prime candidate for the match.

I voted for John Morrison knowing full well that Owen will win this thing. I feel the way many posters on the board feel, that Owen Hart is over rated and is only lauded the way he is due to the tragic nature of his death. I take that back, not over-rated, but he wasn't under rated or under-used either. High Energy was a heat team and The Rocket was a disappointing character, but his King of Hearts Gimmick only took him so far. A lot of what he accomplished, he did so because of the angle he was in against his brother Bret.

Morrison is a talented and athletic up-and-comer, and I feel overall that Morrison would be able to get the fall over baby brother.

I like Finlay, maybe becuase of the Irish brawler thing. Don't forget he was the 1st ever WCW Hardcore Champion. But Cena is a top star in WWE, like him or hate him, and brings power, intensity, speed, athleticism, and perseverence to the match.

I wouldn't mind seeing this in actuality. If WWE elevated Finlay and allowed him a hardcore feud with Cena I would tune in for it. But Cena gets the duke here, so raise your Guinness, because the champ is still here.

As much as I love the old-schooler Thesz, I cannot in good conscience take him over a man with the total package like Joe. Samoa Joe is fast, agile, powerful, focused, and has a mean streak. Thesz comes from a one-dimensional era, and thus is a one-dimensional performer. Joe can do almost anything and has the credentials to back him up. Also, in all fairness, how much real competition did Thesz have vs what Joe sees today?

I went with Jeff due to the type of ring. I would be satisfied with either one winning. I feel like Jeff can take advantage of the ring better than Jerry and sooner or later would catch Jerry trying a high flying move. Jeff is just a slight quicker.

Macho deserves this one. I do think Antiono should have been seeded higher. He is worthy of a third round and possibly fourth round. I think the macho man is just a little better in the long matches and sooner or later he would get him down for the elbow drop.

He'd FU him after about 5 minutes.

your killin me girlie. very little if any talent??? Finlay is one of the most technically sound, fundamentally correct wrestlers the WWE has!!! Thats why they stick him against a lot of new/shit guys, he teaches them how to work. Finlay has a long storied carreer WAY before the WWE, and has had some great technical battles, and some barbaric hardcore matches, especially with William Regal way back in the day. Finlay is one of the top 5 guys they have skill and talent wise.

That being said, there is just simply NO WAY he would ever go over Cena, he just simply hasnt been elevated to that level ever, and probably never will be. I dont think itd be a walkover, I think itd be a hard fought match, but certainley Cena goes over here.

I like Morrison, and think he will be a future star, but I have to give owen the nod here, barely by a hair. I am one of the many that IC25 speaks of, who thinks Owen is very ovverated, but Morrison, besudes the ECW title, hasnt accomplished a whole lot. Owen, was in a very high profile feud with Bret, former IC, Tag, and european champion, and plus the King of the Ring. Got way better heat in his day than Morrison does now. By the time its all said and done, I belive Morrison ENDS UP being better than Owen, but as of right now, the king or harts goes over here.

while I belive Noble to be one of the best guys currently in WWE, Sting is an Icon, and a legend. Noble may even be more technically skilled and sound than sting, but sting has the titles, the popularity, and the high profile feuds to back himself up. Probably a squash here, especially with the characters both men were last seen playing. Sting FTW

I think this is an ok match up but there is no way Finlay can go over John Cena. Cena is the face of the modern WWE a guy that didnt lose his title in over a year. Cena is the better brawler, has more speed and athleticism, stronger, and has maybe more perseverence than any other wrestler in this tournament. Cena with the F-U at the 6 min mark.

Un-fucking believable.

SERIOUSLY. HAVE ANY OF YOU EVER WATCHED ANY WRESTLING WHATSOEVER BESIDES THE WWE?! EVER?!?!?!

Jeff Hardy is good at one thing: hurting himself in big spots. Thats it. Shit wrestler. Shit on the mic. Shit in everything except for being a spot monkey.

Jerry Lynn is one of the most talented wrestlers of the last 20 years. Watch ANY of his matches with RVD and you'll immediately change your opinion on this one.

Seriously, how the hell are you going to vote for Jeff Hardy? In what way does Hardy pass Lynn? Lynn is faster, tougher, stronger, better in the ring, better on the mic, he's even a better at his spots then Jeff is.

If you voted for Jeff Hardy here, then leave and never come back to these forums. You obviously have no intelligence whatsoever.

this one would be interesting but like everyone before me, theres just no way Cena can lose this. John Cena is the top guy in the company and could have no chance of losing this, Finlay would defenitely not go down easy but just wouldnt match up, and all the Cena haters need to face this that John Cena always shows up for big matches and will be the top guy for a while because hes consistent and always goes all out and sends everyone home happy

I went with Morrison here, Owen lives off his family name and although he was great, I think that Morrison's short run has been damn impressive, multiple time tag champ, 1 or 2 time IC champ, and ECW champ. He is the total package and will be great.

I am content with Owen winning because he was still damn good in the ring, just gotta give props to a guy I know won't get tons of love.

Well Finlay vs Cena, I have to go finlay as he is majorly underated, and this is a poll for me to put what I want correct? Well Finlay is one of my favorite wrestlers, and Cena is overated.

This is ******ed, all you Hardy marks need to look yourselves in the mirror and ask yourselves why? Jeff Hardy cannot hold a candle to Jerry Lynn, just because Jeff flies around and spins and shit doesn't mean he can wrestle, name 10 moves Hardy does. The guys offense consists of an occassionally well-done Whisper in the Wind, a flip from the top, a front suplex, his brother's finisher and that's about it.

Jerry Lynn on the other hand is awesome, the guy can straight go, he's one of those guys that just makes everyone around him better in the ring, he was a staple in putting younger guys over and has given so much to the business, the guy is awesome and should be voted for.

Seriously, can anyone voting for Hardy actually justify the vote besides he maybe a bigger name and works for the WWE? Jeff Hardy is fucking terrible, beyond fucking terrible. Jeff Hardy maybe the most undeserving hack to get a singles push in the history of the business. The guy has zero presence in the ring and has had zero good non gimmick matches. His entire character is built around jumping off of high things. The guy is a joke, and seriously, it's just blind fanboys voting for him.
