Raw LD May 22, 2017 - Five Men, Ten Testicles

Really doesn't matter who wins, they will do it again next week in some form.

And then repeat for the Money in the Bank participants on Smackdown as the announcers speculate that it gives the winners momentum heading into a match that has nothing to do with pins or submissions. Repeat every year forever because it's all they know how to do for that show.

The MitB match should sell that PPV itself. Maybe one year make everyone earn their shot into the match the week before the PPV. Or as the competitors win their way in, they compete in matches leading up to the PPV that if they lose, they're out of the MitB match itself. It's at least SOMETHING different. It makes people watch and maybe have a rooting interest and not have to put up with a Teddy Long tag match.

At least SD is throwing us some curve balls once in awhile. RAW has become complacent in the fact that this whole thing is a lead up to Reigns/Lesnar in New Orleans. The only thing that could surprise me is an early return by Strowman and he takes the title off Lesnar at Summerslam. I think we all know that is a long shot.

When is KB's Complete History of the Build to MITB Matches coming out in paperback?
