I was on about 6,000 when I bumped it up to 1,000,000,000. Then I went back down to 0. Then I got a few more. Then I made about 1,000 more posts. The day I stepped down as admin I reset it. But I think Irish put it up to 3 or 4 thousand again. Either way, I've only made about 1,500 - 2,000 non-spam posts since. So roughly 10,000 total.
