But seriously, if your #1 goal around here is to be a mod, I think you're nuts. I think being given a Mod position is an honor, and I would love to do it. But on the other hand, think about all of the morons you would have to deal with, day in and day out. Certain immature, childish people pissing and moaning about the mods being "Nazi's" and how those in power just refuse to let the mindless idiots run free around here. It's a thankless, unpaid duty and that's why I respect the people who give up their time to clean this place up.

This. Becoming a mod is something is earned, not handed to someone on a silver platter and it doesn't take a genius to see that it's a thankless job that requires a lot of work to be put in. If you want the spot you'd damn sure be better than anybody else competing for it and if you've got tunnel vision for a spot on the Mod Squad chances are that you won't be.

Who knows, maybe they'll award a sports mod position for second place. That way, you'll still get some consideration for it
