Yeah I also noticed a few more gyms being placed around. Well actually a lot more, atleast 10+ in a 5k radius. I didn't bother with gyms before but I think I'll give them a go now.

Caught a Granbull today, that was a nice surprise. 182 caught.

I'm liking the gym changes so far. Not had a battle yet but probably will tomorrow.

I had a battle today, it takes beating them 3-4 times to get them out of the gym and I'm not a big fan of that so far.

I do like that it seems like 6 is the max in a gym now, the gym closest to my house before the update constantly had 10 in it all over 3000 and it was simply untouchable.

Also managed to catch 2 Zubats today, now I can evolve mine twice so I'm done with that. My luck with hatches seemingly has run out though as I hatched Paras from a 5K and Nidoran from a 2K.

To be fair old gyms with 10 in it'd take 3-4 of my 6 battle to get in the gym at least so it's about the same.

You get stardust for feeding berries AND every now and then you get the equivalent candy.

I hatched a Porygon last night. My first encounter of a Porygon at all actually so pretty stoked considering my first 7 day streak reward was a upgrade. Completed another 7 day streak yesterday and got a dragon scale. Also found outhe I found a kings rock at a normal pokestop a few nights ago!!! Not sure on who to get between politoed and slowking but I think I'm feeling froggy... yeah it sounded better in my head.

You get stardust for feeding berries AND every now and then you get the equivalent candy.

Wow that's a really good idea.

From what Reditt tells me it's about 7% of the time. So if you feed Porygon for example there's a chance you get another candy. Stardust is 20 per berry and that's a definite (did it myself).

So I had a walk round five gyms today. 2 were Valor, 3 Instinct. I took an Instinct gym down and at the same time someone took the other one down so we got to help each other out.

I did, however, get kicked out of a gym after 57 minutes. That fucker.

Just went for a quick hunt to get Blastoise. Found out there was a squirtle nest so now I've got a Blastoise, pretty stoked.

Anyways about the gyms. Sure heaps of new ones. Saw probably between 15-25 tonight. Not one Valor which is unusual. All were Mystic except 1 which was obviously Instinct. Chucked my Alakazam on there. That was 3 hours ago and it's still on there now. Probably has stuff all motivation left. Sucks that you can't feed it berries from back home or wherever you are, then again gyms would last forever if that was the case.

Wait now that I think about it, it only went down about 100 motivation between 50 minutes and an hour so unless someone has battled it (it's 10:14 at night and a pretty remote gym) it should last all night maybe, depending on if it goes down faster or what not.

I've got two at 15 hours in fairly central locations which is a surprise.

So my Espeon got kicked out of a gym earlier today after at least 10 hours, it returned with 17 pokecoins. That's gonna be nice if you start getting those for time in a gym.

If you check your gym badge it'll tell you how long it is.

I dropped a Snorlax in a gym. 15 hours later he returned with 50 coins. Doesn't get much easier than that.

I haven't gotten a chance to get out and do any raids yet.

What level is everyone at now?

Level 32, our first raids have just hit, starts in an hour and 10 mins!

I'm only level 23 so I can't raid yet . Saw one about 40 minutes ago that started.

Still holding the gym like a boss. 22 hours now. Does the motivation restart every 21 hours or something because mine went/is back up to full. Also my motivation looked like it only went down 200 cp at the max the whole 21 hours before that. Thought I'd only be on the gym for an hour at max.

I had a pokemon return after 15 hours and got 50 coins, which is good for me. Still have three in gyms.


Just completed my first raid, was quite fun. There was three of us there and it was a level 2 raid, our Pokemon was Muk and he was destroyed in 2 minutes.

Motivation is increased by feeding berries so someone from your team would have fed berries to your pokemon.

Ahh right. Thought that might've been the the case, what a bloke.

Did you catch it after? How many balls did you get to catch it?

So with raids they work out various things to give you Premier balls. So how many of your team is there, if it's your gym etc. so I got 11 Premier balls to catch Muk. It took me 4 to catch it as it was further back than I thought. Though once I hit it just the one ball.

I didn't get any TMs or golden razzberries. The Premier balls I had left over were converted to standard Pokéballs.

I'm level 26 and the first raid near me is taking place in a couple of hours. Gonna take a wonder over and see what's up. Looking forward to trying it out honestly.

The cool thing is once the initial timer happens you're then told which Pokemon it is and you have an hour to attempt to get it.

I think that's good as I have a few gyms nearby and if it's one I want to catch I'll go for it. Espeically as it's just 1 pass a day you get.

Annoying, my Charizard and Venusaur who had been in 36 and 40 hours respectively got 0 coins as they were removed when I had already had 50 coins today.

I took 9 gyms. Got the 50 coin max without knowing it. Had a donaphan in for 13 hours. So much for waking up at 6AM.

Annoying, my Charizard and Venusaur who had been in 36 and 40 hours respectively got 0 coins as they were removed when I had already had 50 coins today.

That sucks. So because my Alakazam is still patrolling the fort (been 42 hours now) I'll only get the amount of coins for that day? Like once the Pokémon reaches 50 coins there is no need to have it there anymore? Or will I get 50 coins each day from the same Pokémon?
