The new stuff got me back into playing the game. I took like a month off, just wasn't worth it. It's nice to see more Pokémon around, but I'm certainly not experiencing the rarity you fine folks are.

So Pokemon Go has been in SA for a while now and I am surprised at the amount of activity. I spent all my pokeballs on the first day trying to catch a Pigeot that I thought was a Pidgey. Lesson learnt.

I wonder what SA's pokemon is.

Anybody noticed weird pattern with egg hatching? In most times before I got at least 80- 90% of times amazing results. Now its more like 50% and mostly its strong. Looks like they nerved it a lot from patch. Shame, got Dratini from 10k and its just strong for about 70%

Though I need to say raritys got good for catch. Catching back and forth pokemons I never saw before like Hitmonlee or Grimer.

Arg had a Lickitung pop up randomly for the first time tonight and it took off before I could catch it. Very annoying but not as annoying as the stupid speed caps on pokestops considering most of the ones around here are on the side of the road somewhere and not really able to be walked to.

I do have 89 pokemon caught with a couple more coming soon when I decide to evolve them (currently saving some up for a lucky egg use since I did that a couple weeks ago and got around 45,000 XP doing so).

On that news I just hatched a Snorlax. That's 140 caught with 2 of the European Pokédex to go (Charizard and Venusaur).

I get Charizard, Charmanders are had to come across unless you find a good nest but Venusaur? I've evolved 4 and I'm sitting on enough candy to evolve three more. Plus I've caught three Venusaurs in the wild.

You'll definitely complete your deck before me though. No way to evolve a Licktung or Chansey. I'm going on hope and luck.

Ah I'm glad, I caught one yesterday but felt bad but didn't say anything.

So I've been able to find two Bulbasaur spawn points nearby as well as a charmander one. A friend was at the charmander one for 30 mins and caught 5.

How does one find a nest of pokemon?

Honestly? It's chance. You notice some locations spawn a lot. Then ask other friends who've seen any.

I'm in a Pokemon Go group for my city on facebook so that helps.

Looks like there's a special event for Thanksgiving with double XP and double stardust. That along with the daily bonuses should come in handy to breeze through level 21 by the end of the month. May have to use a lucky egg sooner than originally planned as well for 4X the normal XP on some evolves I have to do.

According to a post in the Pokemongotoronto thread in Reddit, Ditto is now available in the new APK update. I have no idea what that is, but everyone is saying he is out there in the wild. No idea what form he will take no one has caught one yet.

It means it's there in the game but they just need the spawn point switched on. Not been put on yet.

DITTO EXISTS people are now catching it. It shows as a pidgey/rattata.

I mentioned it months ago they should do that, you catch a shitty Pokémon and it changes to Ditto.

Yet to catch one though.

I did it today. I catched pidgey who had green circle and kept wondering how he escapes my curve balls. I threw like 11 of them until caught. Then it began morph sequence and voila, Ditto there.

My luck still bad though. Hatched Exeggcute but again just strong, not amazing.

Oh, and also, CP is chaged since update. My Vapo vent from 1800 to 2000. Though some Pokemons like Arcanine got lowered in CP.

Well, I just catch pidgeys because when I buy lucky egg I can do pidgey exp route where I evolve 20+(plus more things I have to evolve) of them in half an hour and get shit load of exp to level.

And I said, if its pretty hard to catch, thats probably Ditto. Threw 10 curved pokeballs which all landed good but he still escaped. 11th catched him. Pidgey almost always need 1-3 pokeballs that land good.
