OSAMA BIN LADEN IS DEAD!!!!

Once again, that is all based on opinion. Some of the smartest people in the world think 9/11 was an inside job. Call me stupid, I could really care less. This is the cage. There is so much proof that it was an inside job, if you look at any of it instead of just what the morning news tells you.

I really could care less of what people on a wrestling forum think of me. It's my views and I'm sticking by them.

Seriously, do yourself a favor, and shut up. You don't sound young anymore -- you sound borderline ******ed. I'm guessing Obama was born in Kenya? Moon landing was fake? The Greys are actually running the world? Seriously, just stop.

I think I lost hearing in my left ear, but Reverend Burn still makes me laugh in all his videos.

And Sully attempts to avoids ridicule when people like Becca, Lee and Nick call him out on what he says and makes him look like the idiot he is by attempting to change the subject.

I pretty symptomatically red repped everyone behaving like a tool on either side of the debate, so I have a pretty good idea of how well this post is going to go down.

This thread made me mildly sad. Everything involving Bin Laden usually does, if only because it has a tendency to confirm that the majority of the western world (both in US and the UK) don't really know who he was.

You see senior politicians going on television who clearly have no idea how to differentiate between such bodies and Al-Qaeda, The Taliban or The Mujahideen. They also have no idea how these bodies operate, what their histories are or who the key players are. I'm by no means an expert, my level of expertise being just high enough to identify when a commentator is full of shit, and this thread is a fucking fecal river at the moment.

Bin Laden is dead. Good? Personally I'm with Ricky here in that jumping up and down celebrating a person getting shot makes me uncomfortable, but I can fully appreciate someone being happy that he's gone. Hell, given what he did people have every right to dance in the streets if they so desire... I won't be joining you, but I wouldn't dare to judge you either.

That being said, what people do not have the right to do is take a massive shit on anyone who questions the relevancy of this development. For one, it makes you an hypocritical asshole, and for two, these people are right.

Bin Laden hasn't been particularly relevant since 2001. He's hardly been relevant at all since 2006. At this point he was nothing more than a symbolic figurehead to an organisation who get collectively wet at the thought of martyrdom. Him being upright and breathing has very little strategic baring.

There are far more relevant terrorists out there. Lots of them. The US has been exploding them with UAV Predator Drones for quite some time. It doesn't change very much, although far more than this latest turn of events will. The people you are fighting are not one organization with one man at the top. You're fighting a vast collection of different groups who cooperate for idealogical purposes. You want to bring them all down then killing everybody is just about your only course of action.

There are of course differing opinions on what I've just said, but the one I've presented above is perfectly valid, so for fucks sake stop acting like assholes to anyone who happens to share it.

It's good to be happy.
It's also good to be informed.
It's seldom good to behave like a jingoistic twat.

Vengeance, blood lust, killing (regardless of who, or on what side, for any reason) is wrong.

I hope the people who actually lost something during 9/11 have some closure, some peace in mind and soul; but to anyone going as far as to say they hope he rots, or burns, or died as horribly as possible.. don't you think that makes you no better than the terrorists we've been fighting? To wish painful death upon someone is the same thing we've assumed they wished upon us. That makes us NO better than them.

Yeah, I understand that relief that it must be for him to not be able to harm others anymore. But I heard some NYC Firefighter from 9/11 say on the news: "I hope he burns in Hell."

And I was like...really? Is that going to make you feel better? To know that someone else is in terrible pain and misery?

I just don't see that kind of attitude doing anything to bring peace to the world. And that's what this is all about, right? We wish that 9/11 wouldn't have happened...that kids could have been raised by their mothers and/or fathers...that sons and daughters would not have had to go over to the desert to die. Is that not what we ultimately wish was the scenario? Or do we just want the other side to have it worse than we do?

Somehow this post seems skipped over by everyone wanting to shit on Sully, and the truth is.. this, what Ricky has said, is all that needs to be said.

And you all need to strop shitting on Sully for believing that 911 was something more than we were led to believe. How many engineers have come out and questioned the authenticity of the government's claim that the towers toppled due to the plane hitting?

A handful? At best?

There really are some people who are exception to that rule. I hope truly cruel Nazi's and murderer's got some torture if there is an afterlife.

I refuse to let myself get sucked in to yet another ridiculous argument, so after this I won't comment on the whole 9/11 inside job stuff, but I'd imagine that the list of engineers and architects who can confirm that the buildings went down realistically would be quite a bit longer.

Yeah; the 9/11 truth movement is quite a joke at this point. It's a shame really, because there are one or two somewhat valid questions about the whole thing that have just been burred under a mass of Moon Landing conspiracy bullshit.

I've only just found out. I'm in absolute shock. God bless the soul who put that bullet through his head. What a historic day.

This is just silly. This is celebration time. Not arguing time. THE MOST WANTED TERRORIST IS DEAD AND Y'ALL ARE ARGUING LIKE CHILDREN. Stop and thing for a minute. This is going to give our troops the moral they need to finish the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The point is that there are questions and factors which have not been answered or explained by the 'officials'. Which brings my point to be, that you should not dismiss an idea or 'theory' despite how hard you might not want to be believe it.
