Cena is just continuing to be pushed ahead of guys hundreds of times his superiors. People who win matches nowadays do it on popularity and the reality of just how good some people are is not even thought of. To think that Benoit, a guy world-known to be one of the best wrestlers alive today, is losing to Cena, a guy world-renowned for being one of the worst, most hated wrestlers in the world today is a joke.
Cena is just taking away any credibility that guys like Benoit had, and it is a joke to see how much effort goes into promoting Cena as the best wrestler in the business while just crushing guys who ARE the best in the business.
This crap is going to continue, and the gap between the main eventers and the mid carders is really stretching, and at the moment, you could basically just switch the mid cards with the main eventers, and we would have a much better show because the guys deserving to be pushed are being thrown around and jobbing in the mid cards while guys like Cena, deserve to be in the mid cards for his ability to stink up an already fumbling main event picture, for YEARS on end.
Cena can sell T-Shirts. Big whoop. Guys like Benoit can sell T Shirts if he gets enough air time and is actually made to look like the great wrestler that he is instead of being shoved around like he is, and he can also fuc*ing wrestle, which is something Cena can't even go near to doing at present, or anywhere in the future.
Cena at the top and steamrolling his superiors is getting old and boring, and the WWE is just going to keep going with it until we have a company full of Cenas and Batistas. What a joke.

The only reason i watch raw anymore is in the hope that cena might finally lose a match and orton might finally win one.
At least Cena has charisma. he also allow's himself to be carried by superior wrestler's. Could Batista have a half decent match with Edge, HBK, or RVD. I doubt it. They both suck but Cena will bump like crazy to try to make a match better. Batista cant wrestle gimmick match's because he's such a clumsy oaf he'd injure himself and possibly another wrestler.

Last night was a perfect example of the shit Cena has to take. Last night Lashley, Batista, and Cena were on Raw. We've all agreed that Cena has more charisma and mic skills than the juiced up pieces of wood that are Lashley and Batista. And that none of these guys are good in ring workers at all. But still Lashley and Batista get big pops and Cena gets the boo-yeah for every punch he throws and punch he gets hit by respectively. So WTF, Lashley or Batista never get this treatment from the fans and are never victims to huge discussions like this about how much they suck. I mean Cena can talk they can't, Cena can have a better gimmick match than these guys, and all three have very limited movesets. So why does Cena get shit while the guy who was pushed at the same time as him and has held the title just as long AND the guy who was only in the WWE for a year gets a "major" title, by the wwe's standards, even though he has done nothing special get little to know shit?
if cena wasnt force fed to us im sure he would not get booed as much. every 5 seconds on raw we hear cena this cena that. it would greatly help if he added some different moves and we didnt have this going on: "his name is cena damnit!!! you will like him no matter what!" says vince.
I remeber when all this heat on Cena really escalated: It was when they started pushing him as a movies star and rap artist in 2005.It kinda pissed people off.I do agree that noone takes a shitkicking like Cena.Batista last major bump in the ring resulted in him tearing up his back and tricep.

Cena was trying to be The fucking Rock on Raw, the guy cut another over the top awful promo ealier in the night stealing some of Rock's material but even that didnt make Cena look good on the mic, the guys a talentless bastard whos doing the same shit every week and everyone is bored of it. It didnt help Cena's cause that he was in the ring with 'taker. Cena will never have 1/1000000000000th the respect taker has. Im suprised they let HBK kick Cena's hea doff because I was under the impression that hes untouchable in Vince's eyes...

Speaking as a Cena fan, I enjoyed the promo that Cena cut on Raw. I don't think there are many guys right now that could cover so many things in one rant while still clearly keeping the focus on Mania. I don't think its fair to say he stole the Rock's material to do it either. There was, to be sure, a similarity in styles, but what is wrong with that? Aren't the younger guys supposed to study the styles of the successes that came before them and try to learn from them?
Even as a Cena fan, I do have to agree with all of the anti-Cena people who say that his character has gotten stale. I started watching WWE again (after a 5 year break) at the Homecoming special on USA, so Cena as WWE champ is pretty much all I've ever seen and it really is time for a change. I'm really hoping that he drops the belt clean to HBK at Mania and, even more so than that, gets a feud that doesn't involve getting the belt back. Cena's at his best when he is (excuse the phrase) 'the hunter and not the hunted'. IMO, the mini-feud with Sabu that culminated in the Lumberjack match at Vengence was the direction his character should go. This whole uber-face thing has gotten way to old. The angry, ready to snap at any second tweener Cena was when he was at his most entertaining both because of the character itself and because he actually lost once in a while so there was some drama in his matches. You can complain his matches are boring because of his limited move set, but I really think the problem is that everyone knows he's gonna win. The uncertainty about the outcome of his match with HBK is what will allow it the possibility of being an awesome match. Him losing that match clean, then losing the return match due to some outside interference and then starting a revenge fued not involving any title will go a long way to making Cena interesting again.

i 100% agree with u, cena needs to drop the title and forget about it for a bit. a feud with some1 arrogant like Orton would be perfect, and a couple of clean losses to Orton would set up a brilliant match in like 2-3 months.

I definitley agree with that too, and we all know that Cena will lose at Mania... Which is good because even as a fan of his he has had it wayyyyy to long... The thing is how is Michaels going to win it though??? I mean is it going to be a simple 1-2-3 with nothing involved or will it involve some outside interference which oculd start another fued to lead Cena away from the title??? I dont know but it should be interesting to see what McMahon has in mind for this Sunday seeing how the last 4 weeks of Raw and Smackdown have been completely horrendous...
Cena's rant on raw was his typical kiss the fans' a$$es diarrhea he always does. The weak thing about it all is even when cena was a heel and rapping curse lyrics to fans, he was still kissin their a$$es by putting them on tv and rapping wit them, etc... This guy couldn't even turn heel like he shud have months ago when the criwds turned against him, like a real man. No he had to keep kissin their a$$es and calling himself unorthodox, controversial, until they liked him again. Just like rainbow brite hardy, could never turn treu heel like a man. Had to a be a pansy poser. Guys like this make me sick. As I have said time and time again, cena is the worst "wrestler" posing as a "champion" in the last few decades. Then comes batista and lashley of course right below on the no talent losers list... I would rather sit and watch mr. bobby backlund do his step ups for hours and hours (or paint dry) than watch any of those 3 fools wrestling... And hbgay cheapshotting cena- hmm what else is new? he's been doing this his whole career and yet you stupid fans still treat him like a babyface and cheer him... Too funny. i reckon michaels will beat cena cleanly with Sweet Chin Music. Sour ending never happen at WM. Then, I think sum1 like Orton will interfere and give HBK the win in a rematch on RAW.

I agree with King of kings here. Cena is stale, his moveset, his character and promos have barely changed since day one. I do not see why WWE keep rubbing him in our faces but I think we had better get used to it, as barring a major injury the champ is here to stay

Looking back to Cena's Umaga Matches he looked weak.Umaga had to carry him though the whole Match. then moving on to when Cena had his Match with Beniot one of the best and US Champion , watch that match and you willl see Beniot doing things to make cena look a whole lot better and in my opinion, that makes Beniot 10 times better for making Cena look like he can actually hold a match longer than 10 mins.then when you watch the HBK Match at Wrestlemania HBK carried this whole match and then Cena comes up with a couple of moves "YOU CAN'T SEE ME" Fist Drop? FU is a good Firemans Carry Slam. STFU is a good hold if they can make Cena mount an offence long enough to wear someone down to put it on, or how about HBK dealing with Cena doing a no sell on his "hurt knee"
yeah you can say I am utterly disgusted I don't care if Edge wins the Title hell even Eugene can get the title and I would be more happy to watch his ass on TV every week then to have to submit to another Weak John Cena Match , the Rip that Flair gave to Carlito should be directed at John Cena , HHH should get on his case as well, to be a great Champion you have to know how to tell a story in the ring if you are getting your ass kicked in the ring and manage a win then advertise him as the Underdog Champ with a Heart that can over come nearly anything, don't try to push his weak matches down our throat and say he is a fighting champ and he is a Dominating Champ, hell you heard it in JR's voice he was no where near the level of excitement of even calling the Melina vs Ashely Match , JR is a Fan and he knew JOHN CENA Can't carry a Match past 10 mins if it had a Handle on it and was sitting on top of a Motor driven Carriage.

i was disappointed the HBK lossed, but it was a sick match, and the feud will keep on going. Hopefully Michaels ends up taking the title.

I completely agree. It seems as though John Cena has taken the belt for granted. At first, he was a good champ...but now his whole deal is just old! His matches are awful if they last longer than 10 minutes. I can't stand to watch his main event matches where he is completely getting his ass stomped and then pulls a Hogan and "Hulk's Up."
If WWE is going to ride John Cena as the champ, then at least make him a heel for once. Two years of the same crap is BORING. Change the gimmick or get a new champ!!

yeah i completely disagree. as much as i dont like Cena, hes still a great in ring performer and he carries the RAW brand whether you like it or not. he should lose the title however just to get a new champ out there and see how the crowd reacts. we all know how they go for Cena...they love him at one point then hate him the next. Orton is long overdue for a title shot atleast but b/c of the steroid issue its gonna hurt him more. Edge and HBK are the leading contenders now. maybe they can use Johnny Nitro for once and get him involved somehow or even Kennedy going to RAW. anyways, whether you love him or hate him, he is still one of the best out there today.

I think that Cena has got potential but has shown thus far that he is incapiable of using it. His match against HBK was no where near wrestlemania main event quality. You cannot blame HBK for this, he put a good effort in, I belive that Cena stunk out the joint at wrestlemania and it is high time Vince realised he is not the future of WWE
