ya i realized something very important about cena these last 2 ppvs, hes really the only guy that makes the crowd react big time nowadays, this cena lovers and cena haters thing really makes his matches actually better since the crowd is so into it, cena vs randy was horrible, but the crowd made the match watchable, and thats due to cena

these last 2 ppvs the crowd was completley dead except for the cena match at the end, like it or not, cena is getting the crowd to react, rather be it a boo or a cheer, its a reaction that makes the match more entertaining

the only person i think is also getting some reaction is cm punk... its impressive to see how an ex ROH guy and ecw cham, the c show, is over with the crowd, his matches usually also have a decent reaction, if u take away cena and cm punk, the crowd would be dead the whole ppv, for example of how the crowd is important the tag team match for the titles with londrick was pretty impressive, but the crowd was so dead that a entertaining match was actually just ok...

He gets cheered because he's a great wrestler and fans want to see him as champion. He gets cheered because he's a great performer. He's the biggest thing in professional wrestling and deserves the belt.

Well that was interesting... I guess I'll leave most of this for slyfox to repeat himself yet again, but I didn't just start watching wrestling, I've actually been watching it for a few years, and I don't mind Cena. Yes we know he has five moves, we get the point... We also know of his tremendous mic skills. We also get the point that Cena sucks... It's all been said before, and so begins the circle of this thread yet again. I now leave this to slyfox to take care of cause if he chooses to he'll pick apart. All I'm going to say is people are givin Cena less credit then deserved.

I don't think that Cena really sucks-I think he is just overplayed and overused right now-and like so many people have said, he makes WWE money and that's what they are all about-so as long as he is selling DVD's, Cd's, Shirts, and seats to shows, they aren't going to stop using him in main events and big storylines-but I do think that he needs to not be champion anymore-he wasn't a bad champion for a while...he did have some really good matches-Unforgiven with Edge last year? I thought that was amazing and I don't think anyone carried anyone throughout that match, they both held their own. And I don't think that his mic skills suck, I actually think he has good mic skills-WHEN given the proper lines to say-its up the the creative writing team to give him the good lines, it's up to him to deliver them and I think he does a good job at it...

People are just bored with him winning all the time, it's becoming unrealistic, and it's just plain time for a change

Oh and if you want to talk about one of the worst wrestlers or worst champion my vote would be for Hulk Hogan-he has what, two, three moves at max-at least Cena has 5

i tihnk the should have a last man standing match / hell in the cell matche wheans it is a last man standing match with in th confines of a hell in the cell match but this is a very special hell in the because it has barbe wire on it and inside of there is different types of wepanes attched to the cell

This is one of the best posts that I have ever read! He is absolutly right! Cena does suck! The five move refrence is outstanding and the whole 10 yr old thing is right aswell. Great post!

Sorry, but i believe this is Wrestlezone Discussion. Not be a huge douchebag and make fun of people because of who they like in the WWE ... discussion.

Anywho, Cena deserves the belt. People love him or hate him which is the pure definition of working a crowd. Mr McMahon does realize that some people don't like cena, and if he knew that that was a BAD thing, he would have taken the belt from him a long time ago.

But since he does realize that cena works a crowd, sells the seats and keeps people interested. cena will hold onto this belt.

Takerfan, the mere fact that you enjoyed that post ruins any possible credibility you had. It shows absolute disrespect for wrestling fans as a whole. The point of watching wrestling is to let the audience decide who to root for. And yes, many decide to boo Cena, but just as many decide to cheer for him.Why? Because alot of us do find him entertaining, we enjoy his matches, his promos, his work ethic. Why does that piss you off so much? Who cares? I find Cena entertaining, and you don't. I have no problem with people who dislike John Cena. YOU, however, choose to degrade and rundown anyone who says a single nice thing about John Cena. This is beyond not liking John Cena. It seems to me that you wish to wage a war on Cena and all of his fans. And don't give me that "John Cena is everything that is wrong with wresting today" bullshit. It's people like Randy Orton who are wrong with pro wrestling today. Horrible attitude, backstage antics, multiple disciplinary actions against him, drugs, steroids, and yet he STILL is in the main event picture. Why? Because of his name and connections. I would have fired his asse MONTHS ago. He is a dick and disrespectful to the fans and the business. So, go ahead and cheer for him simply for the fact that he's taking the title from Cena, but realize this: John Cena gives more heart into the business in a single match than Randy Orton will give in his entire career. I would like to apologize for any coments that I have made in recent posts and reason being, it wasn't me! My little bro has, once again, logged on as myself and gone crazy.

First of all, I have never, in any other post in this or any other thread, ever used the quote feature. I would never degrade or disrespect any wrestling fan for their preferences on any superstar. So I would like to apologive to everyone and especially to one person on this thread who I respect, fan to fan, and thats Slyfox.

Edgefan#1 to respond to you sir. I love everyone's opinion, that's why I post. I could care less who someone likes. I post on this site to get my point across, so I hope that my credibility is not ruined. I always kept my responses respectful and intelligent, I hope.

Cena does put heart into his matches. I have said that in past posts and I will say it again. (sigh***the circle) I love his work ethic. I love his charity work and his overall people skills. He seems like a nice guy, but I am a wrestling fan, who doesn't want a superstar jammed down my throat. I want to decide if he is worthy enough to be cheered for. I want to be the type of fan that brings him up. I don't want WWE to make the decision for me. So I boo Cena! I have said before. I don't like his character and I don't like his ability in the ring. I like wrestlers like Shelton Benjamin, he is exciting to watch and hardly ever has a dull, predictable match. I wish Cena were more like that! I would be able to cheer him at that point!

wrestling is more than just moves, this is just a smark attitude, ''he has 5 moves.. he sucks'' and that doesnt even make sense cuz many other wrestler have ''5 moves'' yet the smarks love them, ppl bash cena cuz he ''sucks in ring'' well... has any1 seen a randy orton match and didnt almost fall asleep?? oh and he has about 5 moves also... ppl gotta realize that wrestling is more then just how many moves some1 does, it also envovles selling, wich cena is actually really good at, this coming from some1 that doesnt like him but hell i gotta give credit where its due...

mic skills are also important, and cena has great mic skills, sure what he says is lame as hell and i wanna shoot myself in the head when he starts talking, but thats the creatives team fault, as far as how smooth he sounds and emotion goes, hes great at it

charisma is one big thing, many guys have great talent but 0 charisma wich gets them nowhere, cena has charisma, but this gimmick of his really doesnt help at all, but back when he was a rapper i thought he was ok

face it, cena is a good wrestler, he just doesnt have a lot of wrestling moves.... well neither does triple H, the rock, stone cold, ric flair, shawn michaels, undertaker, and many other greats, im not saying cena is god, i really wish he would just leave wrestling cuz he doesnt entertain me, but i think he is a solid wrestler, maybe if they changed his gimmick from a baby face to a more dominate wrestler in a match we would see more moves...

Cena's garbage. The only reason he got a push in the first place was because his merchandise was selling. And mostly to bratty kids who bug their parents nonstop to buy them a cena T-shirt. I'm from Chicago and I'm glad he gets his ass booed when he comes here. If he didnt come out to catchy music, and say funny catchfrazes before his matches, I gaurentee no one would even pay attention to him. While I agree that Cena is garbage in the ring, I have to disagree with not liking the way that Cena got over. This is the way that any major talent gets put over. The Rock, Stone Cold, Undertaker, HHH, any major talent can sell merchandise, has catchy ring music, and has catch phrases that they use. Cena got over pretty normal when compared to anyone else, although, I think he was put over to big way to fast!

Excuse me?, how does Ortan deserve the title?, Ortan has been burying himself since 2006 because of his drug problems and lack of respect for anyone.

Granted Ortan is a talent and someone that is an asset to the wwe, but if i where Vince id leave the title on Cena as smart fans know about Ortan's offenses and expecially with the steroid scandal fresh in peoples minds don't you think that it would be a bad choice to put the title on someone who has proven that he cannot carry the company due to childish mentality and lack of respect, I think the WWE'S being smart and that is the best way to be at the moment.

Look,I'm a Cena fan,but I also think that after the "One Year Reign" thing,its time for him to drop the title.But I dont think Randy deserves it.If he really did,he'd have been put over in Jan 2006 when Batista got injured.They pull Kurt Angle from RAW to be champ for a reason.Orton's behaivor backstage,as well as his drug scandals have been the reason he's not been champ.Its actually possible Cena might drop the title to HHH or Mr. Kennedy instead of Orton.
Cena's the safest bet the WWE has to draw in the crowds right now.Everyone singing Orton's praises,but we all know he'd be boring as hell after a few weeks.He's hardly the RKO of 2005/6
