Wasn't Cena the face those two times? I dont know though but people usually pay to see the face win... Well the majority of the fans, and whether people were cheering for the win or booing hoping he would lose, Cena was still drawing..

Hbk vs cena was more of a face vs face match than anything. And for someone that basis his opinions so highly on pop you should know that hbk and hhh were definitly the fan favorites in that match, and hhh was a heel at the time.

thats from kurt's mouth himself. and if you watch the whole interview he is not bitter at all, he is being very honest about why he left wwe. no good wrestlers was one reason. and he made a point to mention cena.

it doesnt matter, he has said bad things when he left the WWE... It doesn't matter, he could have been bitter, and it could be a work, because if he was in another promotion he owuldnt be saying good things about another promotion... come one gimme a break.. He sucks in the ring? thats ridiculous, a guy that has had many good matches in 07? A guy that Jericho praised, and we all know that people love their Jericho.
You are going to believe a guy that was put on ECW, while he refused to go to ECW. It seems like a hoax...
People can hide things. Everyone knows that. You can get talked to in a low tone voice and still be bitter... he was put on the C brand and he refused to go, so he left for TNA.. IMO it is taking a shot at the talent of the WWE... and who cares he said they are bad wrestlers? they are entertainers, not wrestlers, that stuff in the Olympics is wrestling, or the stuff they do in the high school gym, that is wrestling, this is entertainment...
I have to admit, Cena being number 30 was a great surprise, and surprises are hard to come by now-a-days. I am refreshed to see that WWE still has these kinds of tricks up their sleeves, but disappointed at the same time. I remember reading somewhere in this topic the same opinion as I have in that Cena shouldn't have had such a major victory this early in his return. But for him to lose in his return match would have also been a little ridiculous, so in my opinion he shouldn't have returned at the Royal Rumble, but at tonight's RAW.
I am completely disappointed that Cena will be headlining Wrestlemania once again. Cena's ability might make him alright for a sub main event or an entertaining mid-card match, but certainly not the main event of Wrestlemania. HBK clearly carried WM 23, and now Orton or HHH (whoever it is that goes into WM as champion) are going to have to carry him again.
Sure the women and children love him, and even a few ignorant adult males, but as ratings will tell you the majority who watch are adult males, most of whom dislike him.
Overall, great surprise, but a disappointing conclusion to what I thought was a great Royal Rumble.

Cena has yet to put on a 5 star match. The Sheepherders have put on a 5 star match.
I dont think i said great...I said good or solid... his matches with HBK, his Khali match, his Orton match, his Lashley match, and his Umaga match... He put on the best matches of 07 in the WWE. I believe two were match of the year candidates.
five star matches dont come around that often but he put on good ones...

Well good or solid isnt quite good enough to main event wrestlemania 3(or 4 if u count 21) years in a row. When ur main eventing mania on a consistant basis u need to be able to put on a great match.

great, great matches dont come around ever week. Crap i cant even remember the last great match i seen... Maybe Angle vs Brock.... But those solid matches Cena puts on entertains the majority of the fans..
