[OFFICIAL] 2010 Debater's League Shit-Talking Thread

I don't know but I don't believe this is hard to do. But can someone lock the threads that have been fully judged. It's getting hard to navigate in there. And I'm getting a little confused...

We're trying to lock them once all judges have finished with their duties. If threads are unlocked it's because one of you hadn't judged it yet.

I feel like patting myself on the back this morning, so I looked up one of my favorite debates from last year. Naturally, it was with my partner in crime in this year's league... Phoenix.

I believe this debate was nothing short of pure magic on both our ends. I won this debate 12-8, but it could've gone either way. It was a fierce, yet incredible battle.

Take some notes, people...

Oh that was a classic no doubt, and to think that before that debate I had no clue who Akira Maeda and Bruiser Brody were!

D-Man was the only guy I lost to in the League last year and I lost to him twice! Was a great debate though, I really did enjoy it last year.

I think that's when we both decided that we were brothers from another mother. Neither one of us knew jack SHITE about the subject. Yet we still debated like champs.

Classic shit, bro.

I was thinking that we should have like a week off next week. Just to allow people to recharge their batteries somewhat.

What say you, D and P?

That's what the DoT is for, so people get a chance to have a break and take time off if they want.

If we take a week off, we're never going to finish. We coped last year with no problems.

Fair enough. I just noticed that debates have been losing post counts lately and that could be the reason.

I am so ready to rock that I've taken to finding good debates in the NXT:NWS competition thread.

I kinda wish someone would pick up my debate from last week and offer a rebuttal.

THIS ^^

The league is a grueling process but you all knew what you were getting into beforehand. That's why we made sure everyone got a bye. We threw in the DoT option to add to the fun and to give debaters a chance that were behind on wins and points. It's a risk in more ways than one... you risk points and your week off.

I think that's fair enough.
