That said, we're going to have plenty of contact in the DL, something I'm going to give each and every bit of energy towards, because I believe in everything it stands for. Unlike the Mod Contest

Look, I'm stepping away. It isn't as though anything is wrong, it clearly isn't. I'm doing perfectly well with my personal life, and feeling just peachy. Nor am I leaving the forums, if anything, I'm going to have more time than ever. I'm not sure if I want to be in this contest. As you may or may not have been able to tell from the start of this thing, there's alot I don't agree with in this contest, which I've been very vocal about.

I don't agree with the notion that the best threads have 70 people all saying the same thing. I don't agree that certain posters would be better mods than Chi and Razor. Most importantly, I don't agree with the notion that you can take a five week microcosm, and say a mod is fit to be mod through those five weeks.

How does your first statement even pertain to the contest? Second of all, if you're really quitting over the fact that CH and Razor got eliminated, you can do so without putting on the fucking nobleman act. If you're going to resign, have the decency to at least tell IC and everyone else, who could have had your place in this competition, the truth. You didn't feel like devoting anymore time to it and you don't really want to be a mod. If you don't think someone is fit to be a mod in this 5 week microcosm THEN WHY THE FUCK DID YOU SIGN UP IN THE FIRST PLACE?

And it isn't like I disagree with the idea of this challenge. I agree that this is a fantastic way to strike up conversation in the NWS area. I agree with that; I disagree that this is the way to deem who is mod worthy and who isn't. Having the two posters, who everyone knows are the best fits to be mods in their respective sections gone, to me, is wrong. I respect the mod's decisions; I don't agree with the mod's decision. Thus, my hope is that either Razor or Chi are given a second chance in this contest. They've done a good job being gracious about it, but I feel either one of them deserves a second chance. And it's all way simple, really; take the guy that had the second to last amount of votes, and put him in before me.

You're actually trying to take a "nobleman" route here. I knew you had a fucking ego but Jesus Christ this takes it to a whole new level. Tell the truth and stop trying to put yourself on a pedestal because you're too fucking lazy and non-committal to follow through with what you signed up for.
