NXT: Non-Wrestling Moderator

So quantity not quality?

What, you don't think one leads to the other?

I've made several threads I thought were AWESOME, and they got 2 replies. Guess what - those threads sucked. Why? No discussion was created.

As a moderator, one of your jobs is to DRIVE DISCUSSION in YOUR section, not just to sound smart.

The best mods can do both.

EDIT - Also, remember that having the most posts only gives 4 people IMMUNITY. It's not like the last 4 are automatically out. The judges may say "this thread only got 6 replies, but damn if it isn't a really solid thread. I'm going to vote to keep this person."

I'm thinking about dedicating a thread in the music section to the theme of John Wayne's smash hit Chisum. Yay or nay?

A qualified individual if I've ever seen one.

A question fo IC, will participant's posts in other hopeful's threads be taken into account? Say I end up posting 30 times in GD's thread and the one I create isn't in the top 4, does that count for much?

So, am I submitting the thread on charity or the soft-ball Nolanverse Batman nerd-bait?

Sure they do. If you post in another participants thread, it's a post. Only deleted spam doesn't count.

I encourage all of the participants to be fair. If you want to support a fellow contender by posting in his thread a few times, cool. Don't be so blatant as to post 20 times in a sheer effort to move them ahead. The judges will see through that.

FURTHERMORE, if you post - and post well - in other participants threads, you have to figure that will reflect positively on the judges view of you.

Does anyone realise that by writing things about American Sports, you are cutting out all of the potential UK and beyond posters who would have commented if it had been something they were privy to?

SSC ftw. his thread is simple, but you still have to really think about it, and anyone can post in it even if you know nothing about music except for the songs you like.

Simply put, I can get enough responsed from Stormtroopers just by himself. That said, D-Man is a Yankees fan, and I believe IC is, too. We have plenty of people in the New York market, and plenty of people who hate New York. This should at least get a bit of a debate over whether or not New York is a useless market to sports.

Yeah, there's probably about 4-5 Yankee fans that will come in there and say that 'everybody wants to be a yankee and that everyone is just biased against New York. AARGH'

Good topic, but I hate NY, and I don't know what to add from what you said.

You could help me by taking either Stormetroopers or IDR with me.

Together we can, Grande

IDK jack shit about hockey, so I'm useless there, but I just posted in there and will help you out.

But my question for you is what Non Spam section would you mod? Because, frankly, you should take Old School wrestling if they needed one.

I'm really more of a sports guy, though I could post music, TV and Movies, and Cigar Lounge. Probably in that order. I know shit about MMA
Your support is quite appreciated
