Who's your team, and what's their schedule like?

My team is the Giants, and I must say that I like our schedule. We draw the AFC West, which is always good. And, we also get 5 road games in the first 7 weeks. We have a Week 10 bye, so our team will have a chance to rest up for the stretch run to the playoffs.

What I don't like is that we have a stretch of 3 weeks, where we play each of our division foes. We also play Minnesota, in their dome, within the final two weeks. This is at least the third season in a row that it's happened.

I do like the Thanksgiving game in Denver though :)

I kinda like the Cowboys schedule. Sure we get to open the season against the Buccaneers who seems to have taken a step back but it's a favorable opponent if pussy Romo can keep his head in the game.

I do fear for week 2 when we open the brand new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington against the Giants cause whether I like to admit or not, they have been a tough opponent for us for the past few years & this year will be no different.

The Thanksgiving game against Oakland sure does make me smile inside as I believe that game is gonna be a cakewalk.

Also I hate how we once again have to close out the regular season against the Eagirls but at least it ain't gonna be in Philly this year.

Fearing the Birds, eh? :D

I like the Eagles schedule, getting our west coast trips out somewhat early. I'm going to try really hard to get tickets to the Eagles-Boys game November 8th on Sunday Night Football, and the home opener vs the Saints. Hopefully by that time we have addressed our RB and TE problems.

Honestly I think most get to excited about these shedules. Anything can happen in the NFL, and if a few key players don't play most, half, or even a quarter of a season it could end up being a missed playoff season. The Pats were lucky with Cassel, but that doesn't happen very often. My favorite team is the Steelers, and coming in to last season they had the toughest schedule in the nfl, and they won a Superbowl. They lost all pro LG Alan Faneca, the starting LT was lost for 12 games, both Mendenhall, and Parker were injured, and starting RG Simmons was also lost for the season.

Coming in to this year, I would assume that the Steelers could have 12 wins or more at the end of 16. I could care very little about who we play as long as we win, and make the playoffs. Bottom line is every team has to play 16 games. The only thing I'm looking forward to in regards to the "easy" schedule would be some mind boggling stats. Wouldn't mind seeing Ben throwing 30 + touchdowns again as opposed to what he did this year.

That's a very good point. April is probably the most overrated month of the NFL year, with the schedule release (3 hours, ESPN? Really?) and the draft. Sure the draft is important but all the buildup to it is really unnecessary.

Call me back at the end of September when we really know a lot about the teams.

/including my Falcons :)

With only a few hours to go until the draft, I figured it was a good time to bump this.

I hear my Giants are looking to draft Heyward-Bey, even if they need to trade up. I'm personally higher on Harvin or Maclin, but I will never second-guess draft day judgement by the Giants. It's been a long time since we've had a bad draft, or made a bad first round pick.

I'm also dying to see where Sanchez falls. He'll either get picked too high (4-7), or too late (17-25). I've heard Denver can get him at 12, and Tampa may draft him, but I don't think he's going until the Jets at 17. This drops Johnson into the 2nd Rd (possibly to Seattle), and Bomar even further in to draft obscurity, possibly all the way to Round 5.

I've always been a fan of "games are won in the trenches", and this draft should be great for that. Lots of OL and DL going from as early as #1, and all the way through the draft.

With Stafford gone already, it seems now that Sanchez is the right pick. From what I understand he is taking a flight to St. Louis on Sunday. That seems to me that he is going to be wearing a Rams jersey this season. It is understood that Seattle was interested in finding a QB, but that may change. Looks like Sanchez is going to St.Louis his stock has gone to high to pass up.

With that being said I think it is possible now that the Chiefs will draft a player like Eugene Monroe at LT. He played college ball with Branden Albert who is currently the starting LT on the team now. Albert played guard in college because Monroe was a better LT than he was. They just got a new QB, and so they need to protect him, and beef up the run game. This move will allow them to protect the blindside for years to come.

Seattle won't look defense this year, because they can't pass on Crabtree. If he is as good as they say he is I don't see how they pass him up when they have TJ Houshmanzadeh as well. Hasselback should still have another year left in him, and now he has receivers that can catch, and don't forget about Deion Branch. Those guys are targets, and it looks like they may be able to find a solid QB in the 2nd round as well. Josh Freeman could be in their lap in the 2nd round.

Cleveland would be ******ed to pass up on Aaron Curry. He is exactly what they need in the 3-4 scheme . Then again many have said that Curry will only play great in a 4-3 defense. Which means the Browns pass up on Curry, and let him fall to the Bengals? I say the Browns take BJ Raji. He is a the best NT in the draft, and he is worth the money. A key to the 3-4 defense is the NT. They may even be able to move down a few spots to acquire him as well.

Bengals could be in a position to take Curry, and I think they will. They lost Pollack to a career ending injury. Rivers didn't play a full season, but the games he played he looked promising. Curry paired with Rivers would be ideal. The Bengals need a player on the outside, and Curry is considered the best athlete at his position available. Curry will become a Bengal, Lewis loves great LB's.

Take a look at teams with two picks. We now have Buffalo Bills with two picks. This could be the year they make a move to really change the scope of the team. I'm not sure what order, but I think the Bills will be looking to find a solid tackle, and a shutdown CB. They need to protect the QB, and find a way to stop big plays over the top. They have a well established defense, that is missing a key position, and that is CB. I'm thinking a player like Michael Oher, and Alphonso Smith.

The Broncos have had two picks, and I think everyone seems to think that the defense is the most important problem to fix, and I disagree. They have a young group of young players in their front 7 which was primarily a 4-3 defense. Most of them we undersized for the 4-3 scheme. Thus, I feel that playing the 3-4 defense will bring to light the talent of this young front seven. Jarvis Moss will playing OLB, and I guarantee you their will be improvements. Again not in any particular order, but I think they may be looking to improve the secondary, and also at the WR position.

Yes, they have Marshall and Royal which is nice. However Marshall will miss the first 8 games of the season, so that means Orton has just Royal. A player like Maclin would be a nice move, or even Percy Harvin. Orton needs as many targets as he can get.

The Detroit Lions already made their first pick, and I agree with it. Their next pick should definitely be a defensive pick. They need a solid pass rusher. Two name I would like to throw out should they fall from the top of the board. First, Aaron Maybin looks like a safe pick at 20th overall. Then again he is undersized, and that could mean that he could fall to them with the 33rd pick. Next, would be Everette Brown from Florida St. Some have said that Seminole DE's are busts, but that means nothing this year. Brown could be a golden pick. However I feel that Evander Hood a defensive tackle from Missouri. He is an impressive athlete with a strong sense of discipline. He is a leader, and a threat off of the end in the pass rush. He could be moved to the outside in a 4-3 defense. He had a 4.9 40 yd dash, the man has defensive end type speed.

Best Pick Of Day 1 - Pat White QB/WR to Miami (2nd Round 44th Overall)

Every analyst in the world, had projected White to go as late as the 5th round, and no earlier than the early part of the 4th round, possibly to St. Louis or Seattle. When I saw Miami take him so early, I was shocked at first. Then, I remembered they use the Wildcat formation. He'll be a third quarterback, behind Pennington and Henne, but he'll be an option as a 3rd WR, or even at tailback. In the Wildcat though, he'll also be an option at QB, or on trick plays. Imagine what Miami could do with him lined up at WR, and Ronnie Brown taking a direct snap! It could continue to change the way teams play throughout the league. He's like Kordell Stewart, but talented.

Worst Pick Of Day 1 - Darrius Heyward-Bey WR to Oakland (1st Round 7th Overall)

I heard the Giants were going to draft this kid as late as the 29th pick in the first round. Then, there was rumblings that they mahve to move up to 20 or 21 to take him. I figured that would be fine. He's a fast receiver, has soft hands, and could be a big play threat in the system. But, he's got poor route-running, and could be easily covered by a quick defensive back. To see him go seventh is a shock. To see Oakland take him at 7, is not. Al Davis is worse than the Jets on draft day, and really needs to give up his chokehold on this team. He's driving them straight into the ground, and it's sad to see the Raiders turn into this. I'm sure he'll make a few big catches, and maybe have a big game or two, but he's going to be a bust as a seventh pick. Davis thinks he's going to be James Jett probably, and even that's a reach.

Not sure I see where you are going with all of this.

"First, there was the Jacksonville Jaguars releasing Fred Taylor. He's one of the most under-rated running backs ever, and has an outside shot at being a Hall of Famer. They already have Maurice Jones-Drew as a starter, but do they grab a back-up in the draft? Or, do they go after another free agent running back such as Derrick Ward or:"-NightShiftLegend"

Have you not heard exactly what kind of position the Jags are in lately. They lost their defensive coord. Most of their o-line was gone this year, and also remember that they lost a strong part of their defensive line to free agency. Last year they picked up two solid rookies in the first two rounds. They don't really have a strong number two CB, and I'm sure they could use some depth at the o-line position.

I would bet that with all that being said they will for certain draft a CB, Guard, or WR. If Vontae Davis is still available expect them to take him. However if a player like Duke Robinson is still there he should go first. Don't forget about Jeremy Maclin. The Jags cut Porter at WR, and I guess they have plans to replace him. I would bank on the Jags pursuing a guard though especially Robinson. Duke is easily the best guard to come out since Faneca. With all that happened to their o-line this year I would expect this to be the main concern.[/QUOTE]

Wow, this is the most in-depth Jags coverage I have ever heard out of anybody who is not part of the organization. Most media outlets just completely overlook us, and I'm fine with that as we fly under the radar. I'll try to cover everything you said in my post.

Gregg Williams was a terrible coordinator for our personell. His blitz heavy scheme screwed us over because it left our secondary vulnerable. In the second half of the season we went back to playing more like how we polayed with Mike Smith and things begans getting slightly better, so losing Gregg Williams was a welcome loss. What strong part of the defensive line did we lose to free agency? Paul Spicer? Far from strong. Sure he was a solid player, but I would rather have Derrick Harvey and Reggie Hayward as our starters. We picked up Tra Thomas in free agency to add depth and veteran leadership to our offensive line. I'm so happy with our draft. We got out bookends on the offensive line for the next 10 years as well as picking up some much needed help in the seconday.

Jerry Porter was the worst free agent signing in franchise history. He did nothing but run his mouth and not produce. He was a locker room cancer and destroyed the teams chemistry. He should be put in jail for robbery because of how bad he was with the money we spent on him. I'm so happy he is no longer part of the Jaguars. We got a veteran in Torry Holt that can still produce for a few years as our younger guys develop. I'm happy with what the new front office is doing with the Jags.

The most disappointing move in both days would have to be most of the teams who converted to a 3-4 defense passing up on Brian Orakpo. Huge mistake in my view. He coud be a serious edge rushing OLB in a 3-4 scheme. I'm not sure how well he will turn out in a 4-3 defense in Washington. I really thought Packers would take him, or even the Broncos whom had a chance to steal him from the Skins. That means the Broncos could have had both Robert Ayers, and Orakpo.

The best two moves were by the Bengals and the Bills. I like where both teams are taking their building defenses. Both teams have drafted players that played in college together. The Bills have reunited Maybin/Polousnzy, and in Cincy reuinted Rivers/Maulagua. Great moev by both teams. Not to mention that the Bengals went out, and drafted a sleeper DE in Michael Johnson from Georgia Tech.

The Steelers have one more pick remaining and looking back at the draft I came to realize ,we can't draft for shit. We missed out on Lineman, specifically Robinson who fell all the way to the fifth round. :( We drafted our own version of Lenwhale White, when we drafted Summers... The man is 5'9 245... Rofl... We drafted alligator arms A.Q Shipley... I do like the Mike Wallace pick though, he is pure speed and can help on ST along with Burnett. But looking back I give this draft a C.... Not enough lineman, and too much nothing... Boo, fuck you Colbert...

I was very happy with the Saints 4th round picks. They got two guys from Wake Forrest's tremendous defense last year. Their stats don't scream out that much, but at the same time, the defense they played on was spectacular it seems and getting two guys on a defense like that in the 4th Round is excellent.

However, the Saints desperately need a power back for 3rd and 1 situations, and we fucking drafted a god damn punter in the 5th round, rather then a power back. That seriously pissed me off because I just know the punter won't last and there were backs like Chris Ogbonnaya, Frank Summers and Aaron Brown still available. Seriously… think about this: they traded next year’s 5th and this year’s 7th to trade up into the 5th and draft a punter. They basically gave away a 7th and pissed away a 5th. What the fuck were they thinking?

I'm actually pretty disappointed in how the Cowboys did in the draft. I'm still not sure why the hell they traded away their second round pick for another 3rd round pick. I don't see the point in picking up 2 linebackers in the draft cause they have like fucking 12 linebackers on the team & they drafted half of those in the first round alone. I do like that they picked Stephen McGee cause from the amount of A&M games I watched last year, he wasn't that bad but could have been a bit better.

I thought they should have picked more offensive line prospects to add depth to the line due to how bad the line was last season.

Overall the Cowboys draft was bad but not as bad as their draft in 2000.

Sorry, gonna have to disagree with you on the Steelers. As a longtime fan I would have to say that this was one of the more interesting drafts to date for them. Hood will be a solid linemen for this team for years to come. I'm still in the air on the RB from UNLV, but from what I have seen in college we won't have to much trouble on short down conversions, or goal line plays like we have had in the past year.

Honestly, I thought the they did an excellent job on the postions they needed to fill. Look at the o-line rookies that they drafted. They took a Guard/Tackle from Wisconsin, he was ranked nationally as a top tier linemen as well. Urbik was a starter since he was a freshmen. He can play either tackle or guard which is something the Steelers love. Shipley falling to the 7th round in our laps was perfect for the Steelers.

We need a center for the years to come, and Shipley was voted the best college center in his last season at PSU. His "alligator arms" that you are talking about actually will do him some good at center, it would be a different story if he played tackle. He has more than enough strength to play center in the NFL(30+ bench reps at combine). They asked many top NCAAF defensive linemen who was the toughest linemen to play against, and most of them said AQ Shipley, and that is on the record. He lacks the height, but I guarantee he will start next season, and maybe this season should someone go down on the inside at guard, or center. Webster, Dawson, and now Shipley.

I like both of the CB's that they picked especially since one of them is tutored by Ike Taylor. I believe that would be Keenan Lewis. He doesn't have blazing speed, but he is physical and has size. Lewis is over 6' ft tall. Bottom line is he has game speed just like Ike. The other guy will just end up as a special teams player which is good because we still need help there as well.

Mike Wallace was a nice pick as well. Many are saying he is comparable to Eddie Royal, and even Torry Holt. He has blazing speed, and decent size. Apparently he was the second fastes 40 behind Heyward-Bey who went 7th overall. So, grabbing someone with this kind of speed on day 2 isn't so bad. I've seen footage, and have to say that he gets behind defenders better than Crabtree, and even Harvin. His route running is a bit off, and I'm sure he can polish that through out the season, and I think the Steelers are building a young, speedy receiving core with guys like Holmes, Sweed, and Wallace. Both Holmes, and Sweed proved they could be deep threats, but I think Wallace has more speed which may make him the added deep threat.

Everyone else that they drafted will end up on practice squad or cut. I would have to say that they deserve a "B+" for their draft efforts.

Are you talking about the 09 draft when you say that the Steelers can't draft for shit? Or are you talking about their past history with the draft?

Well it depends, I really wasn't a fan of this draft, but to tell you the truth, I am really not a fan of Kevin Colbert. Yes, he is the man that brought us Big Ben, Holmes, Miller, and Polamalu. But face it, after the first round he sucks outside of Lamar Woodley. He is the same guy who drafted Dallas Baker, for fuck sakes, Freddie Gibson, the same Freddie Gibson who probably forgets his name from time to time.

Colbert is lucky he has Dick Lebeau on defense to make this work. His defense benefits from a system and most of Colberts offensive picks have been a bust. Which sucks. So, personally, I find our problem to be Colbert. IMO, he should be canned.

Anyway, the people at Walter football love our draft, and that is saying something, seeing as how they're anti Steelers. They gave us an A+. Apparently, they love Urbik, and Shipley. I don't to be honest. But who knows, only time will tell.

I loved the Eagles draft, because we had 3 great value picks/steals with our first 3 selections. Maclin was rated higher than Crabtree on 18 team's boards, has return ability, and went 19th... great. McCoy is arguably the most proven RB, toting the rock 308x last year, with the best hands out of the backfield, chosen 53rd overall, I was praying we'd trade up for him..great. Cornelius Ingram would have been a 1st/early 2nd at worst had he played this past year for my Gators, he's an amazing athlete, great red-zone target, and I wanted him in round 3, yet alone round 5..great.

Plus we picked up a veteran, starting CB in Ellis Hobbs, a very good CB and return man.

Also picked up Macho Harris, playmaking S/CB.

The rest of our draft was a crapshoot, and I'd be surprised if any of the last 4 selections made the roster, but being this good top heavy I couldn't care less.

While Carolina once again did nothing to help them as far as next year's Draft goes, it seems they've escaped quite nicely with what they had to work with.

We ended up not having a 1st round selection this year, and everyone was assuming we'd trade Peppers to New England for a fucking 2nd round pick. Uhm, thankfully that shit didn't fucking happen. (while we aren't out of the not-trading Pep stage just yet, though)

In the long run, we still had a chip to give away.. next year's first round Draft selection. Which is what we gave out in order to jump up in the 2nd round earlier than original, and select Everette Brown, the DE from Florida State. With him opposite Peppers, our Defensive Line could be a step up from last year. (once again, assuming Peppers will play for us)

Continuing with our selections, we picked up Sherrod Martin, (CB from Troy) also in the 2nd round. I assume he'll fill in 3rd string behind Gamble and Marshall.. According to the 'experts', he can play both corner and safety, so he may be jumping around with us.

A lot of people were unclear on why we took Mike Goodson (RB) when we already had two impressive RBs, but the simple truth is.. he's a speedster who'll help on ST, possibly KRs, and he can also sub-out and still give Williams & Stewart relief by way of being a threat. (think of how NYG have 3 dangerous backs)

Another question mark to people is Tony Fiammetta, the FB taken in the 4th round. Once again, according to 'experts', he was the best FB in the draft and he has the remarkable ability to not just be a powerful blocker and help our running game increase.. but he can also run fast, and catch well. So he's a multiple threat all around.

In my true opinion, our best pick may of been the sleeper we grabbed in the 5th round, in Duke Robinson! How the fuck he was still sitting there, is beyond me.. and while we have a nice OL as is, adding extra depth is always a great idea.. because OL gets injured easily.

We also picked up Corey Irvin (DT) and Captain Munnerlyn (CB) but I don't know if either will make the team in the end. I've read Captain Munnerlyn will compete for KR/PR duty, while Irvin will likely be competing for a roster spot to stay behind our already decent duo of DTs.

So, all in all.. I'm happy with our Draft turn-out as I thought it would be pure shit. Oh, and despite not landing a QB within the actual draft.. I read we signed Hunter Cantwell, an undrafted FA.. he isn't Graham Harrell, but I suppose he might do.

Robinson was a fifth round pick because of his motivation or lack thereof. He looked like shit during the national title game, at times the man looked lost, and he was committing stupid penalties, and some of those penalties were crucial. He has first round talent, but the motivation just wasn't there. I guess you eventually get tired of dominating Collegiate football. Hopefully his motivation picks up, because he has all the tools. He has the size, strength, and the mobility. He can pass block. I am not to sure about the run because Oklahoma always passed. Anyway, I will call that the steal of the draft. Carolina should have a good line with Otah, Gross and now Robinson... They should dominate for years to come.

Also, the poster who was talking about the Eagles, I do like there first two selections, and the TE selection but i believe you went away from your needs, and you started to take the best player available route. O well, I guess McNabb is happy. He now has Jackson and Maclin to throw the ball to.

All I can say is this. I have four picks of each conferences division winners. Ofcourse ranked from 1-4. Also I will say who the 4 wild card teams are this year.

As for the AFC North the winner will be the Steelers. Hands down, there is on reason they take this division. I don't think it will be easy, but the schedule they have isn't too hard offensively as it stands now. They did very well in the draft, and their 2nd/3rd yr players are progressing well. Timmons, is going to start this year. They are also looking at a healthy backfield this year, with two complimentary backs. The Bengals aren't that far out of it either.

NFC North winner will undoubtedly be the Chicago Bears. Cutler, and Forte are going to destroy the NFC. The Bears at this point could be the 2nd best team in the NFC. Cutler has a strong arm, and the offense will be easy for him to adapt to. The Bears are now a constant threat in a weak NFC North. However the Packers aren't far behind either.

The AFC East winner should be the Patriots, and I think with Brady they win the division. I wouldn't be shocked if they won 12 games this year. They are a playoff team this year with a healthy Tom Brady. This was an easy pick.

NFC East is by far the hardest division to pick , but I am going with the Eagles. They have the best defense in the division, and they also had a solid draft. Shady McCoy adds a ton this diverse offense, and so does Maclin. McNabb should be on fire this year offensivley. The Eagles are my pick as the number one team in the NFC.

AFC West will won by the Chargers. Rivers has to prove this year that he is the man in charge. Rivers has to have another Pro Bowl year, and make better decisions at the right times. The defense made some huge mistakes all year, and I think that will change this year. They had a solid draft, and should be fine.

The NFC West is a bit of a tough one, and I think the Cards will take it, just because of the team they still have. I think they just have a better team than anyone else in the division. Not one of those teams left can match them at all. Most of those teams will picking for their franchise QB's in next yr's draft, Tebow, McCoy etc..

AFC South is easily going to the Colts, and I think it will be close. Manning will do it again and keep the Colts a viable contender in the Playoff hunt. Manning could go as far as the AFC title game. The defense has to make a strong stand this year.

In the NFC South I think the Falcons take it hands down. They should get some heat from the Saints. Ryan is said to have made huge strides. If this true we could see something similar to a younger Carson Palmer type. Palmer was rigged with injuries his career, but if Ryan can stay healthy and play like Palmer he could be a Pro Bowler this year.

As for the Wild card teams this year I'm going with the these four teams. From the AFC 5) Cincy Bengals & 6) Houston Texans. Yes they are both two teams that are a reach, but both teams made some huge strides in the offseason, and the draft. In the NFC I can see the 5)Giants, and the 6) The Packers. Rodgers should have another stellar year, and if the defense can play under a new 3-4 scheme they will be a team to worry about. Eli is a persistent player, but I think missing Shockey, Burress, and Toomer his game may come down a bit. This will be a huge year for him.

My team, the New York Giants, are headed into their 85th season.

I see them winning the NFC East.

Sure, we have some questions at wide receiver, but I am most confident these young guys can make explosive plays.

The only issue I worry about is blocking & how it will hurt the running game. If the run blocking is poor, then I am extremely worried.

I still see us with a decent record. Our already-top 5 defense will keep our offense in the game.

I predict the Giants will go 4-2 against the division, with a loss suffered against the sunday night game against Arizona.

13-3 is mine.

Yours?

You have high hopes for your Giants team, obviously. Osi will be coming back, so he'll greatly improve an already dominating D-Line. Your defense is very good. It's one of the elite few in the NFL. Your offense, rather, is shaky. Steve Smith and Sinorice Moss are decent young receivers, but Plaxico was the big threat that really gave you explosiveness on offense. If Jacobs stays healthy and has a great season, then I think you'll be just fine. The division is tough, but so are the Giants.

My prediction: 11-5 (Division Win)

Now, my team is the Seattle Seahawks. Last year, we were abysmal. Our defense was supposed to be dominating, but it was in the bottom ten in the league. Our offense was atrocious, and we floundered to a 4-12 record. Matt Hasslebeck, if he's healthy, is still a very good quarterback. He's throwing to Branch, Burleson, and Housh. That could be good, but he has to have protection. We hardly have a running game, so that could affect how our passing game works. Our offensive line is decent at best, and getting very old. I don't think our offense will be in the top 15 in the league. Patrick Kerney is coming off shoulder surgery. I hope he returns to form. We drafted a great DE, former Oregon Duck Nick Reed. He's a bit undersized, but his knowledge of the game and instincts are top notch. He's an incredible athlete, and I wish him the best. We have a very good linebacking core and a good secondary. I have high hopes again for our defense. We also have a good kicker in Olindo Mare.

My Prediction: 8-8 (No playoffs)

Nice insight. I have a little more faith on your team than you do, lol.

The Seahawks I believe were in the bottom 5 in both offense and defense in 2008. What I hear most from insiders, was that the Seahawks were tarnished by injuries all over that offense.

With the addition of Housh, more experience on that line, and hopefully a healthier offense overall, I see you guys returning to a top 10 offense just like the Seahawks were in 2007. Though the issue is the running game, and you are correct. That may dwindle them down in the top 15-20, or so.

I think the Seahawks had a great draft this year & they already have one of the best linebacker corps in the league. I read an article on NFL.com somewhere, ranking the Seahawks having the third best off season behind the Giants and Eagles. I am not well aware of their lesser known improvements, but if the Seahawks can get their running game & run defense together, I see you guys winning your division.

Good luck next year.

I don't know about Seattle winning the division. Arizona didn't lose anyone of merit and they will be hungry in the weakest division in football. Seattle places second in the NFC West.

As for my Minnesota Vikings last year we won ten games with the combination of Frerotte/Jackson. This year we have Rosenfels/Jackson, or Brett Favre. Last year we also had one of the five toughest schedules in the league. This year we have one of the top five easiest. So we'll definetly win more than ten games. I say 11-5 with Jackson/Rosenfels. 13-3 with Favre.

Philadelphia Eagles 11-5

My Eagles went out this off season and upgraded across the board, generating a younger, better O-line and adding Jeremy Maclin and LeSean McCoy in the draft, that's 2 wins easily, in my opinion. We usually have two crapper games a year, we'll lose two division games, and one game vs the AFC West, probably @ San Diego. I'm not worried about losing Dawkins, and feel confident in McDermott as our new D Coordinator.

I'll go 11-5, either tied with New York, or better. Playoffs.
