NCAA Football LD, 2013 season

I can't believe how in just 1 year the SEC has turned into the Pac-12.

There's been a good resurgence of the PAC 12 this year. Hell they're probably the best conference right behind he SEC.

As far as tonight goes, I hope Michigan State comes up over Ohio State. All this talk on how good they are, and yet how many ranked teams have they beaten? I'm kinda expecting Stanford to get the title over AZ State as well.

Not me. I don't want an SEC team in the national title game. They've received so many favors over the years, I'm tired of it.

Since the Leinart/Bush era at USC, the Pac-10/12 conference has been mostly all about high octane offense, very little defense. And that's what I meant by my statement. It seems like all the top SEC teams have turned into exactly that this past year.

Nice start to both games. Michigan State forced a punt and Duke showed FSU they can hang in there. This could be a great night.

Unfortunately, that's probably true.

But it doesn't matter. The BCS is over after this year. Now that Mizzou has lost, I just don't want to see an SEC team in the title game. They've been granted every benefit over the last several years, I don't want there to be any chance they are even in the game.

I don't know if I'd say they've been given the benefit of the doubt every year, but some of them yeah. LSU vs. Bama II was ridiculous.

I don't mind them being in if they're clearly one of the best two in the country. A one loss team vs. two unbeatens doesn't prove anything though.

I read this article where a columnist suggests eliminating the conference championships and have and expand to an eight team playoff instead of four. I need to find the link to it.

Florida State vs. Auburn in the BCS Game.

I was hoping Ohio State would win so that the SEC would be left out but Auburn deserves entry in the game and is arguably the best 1-loss team.

More importantly, Notre Dame is playing in the Pinstripe Bowl on December 28th at Yankee Stadium.

Even with an SEC team in the National Title game this year I don't see them winning. Florida State is just too good. Their closest game was a 14 point win on the road. They didn't play the toughest schedule but Auburn's defense isn't very good and Winston should have a field day.

Looks like it could be an eighth straight National Championship for the SEC. How 'bout them apples, Sly? :icon_lol:

Great to see Ohio State and more importantly Urban Meyer lose. I could personally care less who wins the National Championship game.

Yep Ohio St. bit it like some folks figured. I wonder what Nick Saban is saying about this.

I'm more concerned about Auburn's offense than their defense. The defense is just fine, but with all the turnovers that Auburn had last night, I'd make sure that ball control is the first thing my team went over during practice.

Also, I wonder how the Chik-fil-A Bowl will be this year. After last year's high scoring game that was way better than the BCS itself, I wouldn't be surprised if it once again over shadowed this year's bowl game.
