NCAA Football LD 2012-2013 Season

This might be an early night if ND can't get some scores before half.

Oh, the crew at my house have pretty much called it already.

I think physically Notre Dame is as good. But the lights were too bright tonight, against a team with a lot of experience in this game. I think it's very possible you see a more even 2nd half, as Notre Dame gets adjusted to the game, but by then it won't matter.

Wow, safe to say now that this game is officially over. Notre Dame's defense can't get close to Mccarron, he's got all day to throw.

Notre Dame was just star struck at the beginning of the game. I don't think they'll quit in the second half, so I think they'll keep it close (to what it is now), but Alabama is just clearly the better team tonight.

If Saban could man up and get his ass back in the NFL... that'd be great. Just on a different level from everyone else.

Wonder how ND fans talk themselves into still thinking this is a game. 4 scores in <20 minutes?... Nah...

I prepared myself for a blow-out since nothing seemed like a more fitting ending to the worst bowl season in college football history, but man... I'm still disappointed as all hell.

Still an incredible season for the Irish though. Nothing to be ashamed of.

I'd love to see Texas A&M vs. Oregon. That'd be a fun game.

Same.

It's just a bad feeling in the pit of the stomach. If it had been a 35-21 game, and somewhat close throughout the night, it wouldn't be as bad. But to take an ass whipping like that just sucks.

The only positive thing out of it is that the Irish played them even in the 2nd half, and if you remove the 1st quarter, it's a very competitive game. For all intents and purposes, it was 21-0 after the 1st quarter (plus the first play in the 2nd quarter) Obviously, there are flaws with that thinking, but...if Notre Dame doesn't come out so tight, who knows.
