According to WrestlingInc. the National Enquirer has a new article out about more possible trouble for disgraced wrestler Hulk Hogan.
The Enquirer is stating that during a July 2nd court hearing it was revealed that Hogan apparently made contradictory statements under oath in a sworn deposition and during talks with the FBI, over the lawsuit with the Gawker.
If they prove that he did one of either of those things, he could be charged with either perjury or obstruction of justice. Both which could carry jail time. This could also get the $100 million dollar lawsuit against the Gawker thrown out of court.
The question here is, was it really worth all this trouble to begin with? It seems like he thought he was teflon and I'm sure he didn't expect any of this to come out of it.
Hogan had a very comfortable life, a job for life with the WWE, and a beautiful wife to come to every night. Not only that the respect and admiration of millions of wrestling fans. As it stands now, he's lost his career, whatever credibility he has left is gone, and he could lose his freedom.
I ask again. Was it really worth it?
