MLB Championship Series LD

Idk, the fan looked like he was hunched over the railing, and the guy in the sweatshirt hit Cruz's glove down. Was a little surprised they didn't even look at it.

had to pop in to bitch. if they are going to have instant replay why didn't they use it for the 'fan interference'
because the ball clearly went over the fence and the outfielder wouldn't have caught the ball anyway? And because reaching over the wall is done at the players risk. TBS is trying to make you think it's 1996 all over again, but this play was MUCH, MUCH, MUCH less obvious, and really wasn't illegal fan interference.

me being a cubs fan that was the anti bartman. I feel like you have to at least look at the play. just another problem with baseball umpires

Twitter is a great thing. @FauxJohnMadden had the best quote on the foul ball that wasn't a homer.

fauxjohnmadden on twitter said:
Ron Washington was all over that foul ball and to his credit.. if there is anyone that knows lines.. it's probably Ron Washington.

My new hero: (warning, the pic is pretty big)

That's awesome. How comfy were you with A.J. starting tonight?
actually very.

He hasn't pitched like shit in 2.5 weeks (granted he didn't pitch at all), and he has pitched really good in the 09 postseason. And he has electric stuff. And the way the first 2 starts this series went, I felt that Burnett was definitely gonna deliver.

1-1. Burnett let 2 get on (walk, HBP), and 2 sacrifices tied it up.

2-1. A-Rod needs to make that throw.

And a slow roller gives Texas a 2-1 lead. Young has been a beast so far this series. Might be ALCS MVP if Texas wins.

I've always like him. Not sure why he has gotten a bad wrap. Although his numbers weren't very good during the regular season

He is a VERY inconsistent pitcher. He will have stretches of dominance, followed by stretches of mediocrity (or worse). He has been dealing so far (2 runs scored on balls never hit out of the infield). Before tonight, he was bad since August. In July he was dominant.

And thank you Ron Darling for explaining why the Cano shot wasn't reviewed (and shouldn't have been). He wasn't catching that ball.

damn that ball hit by Jeet was close to going out. Nelson Cruz might have been thrown out at second if he hit that, but Jeet got to 3rd since he hustles.

Payed off for them.

And Hunter's gotta keep his pitches to the outside a tad more. The Yankees have been hitting the piss out of the ball early.

Love the Taco Bell commercial with Girardi and Rivera. There was a radio spoof of it in Chicago with Piniella. Piniella doesn't bring in a reliever and the guy ends up choking on the taco. Good stuff.

Sometimes I wonder what the hell Vlady is thinking swinging at all of that shit in the dirt, then he follows it up with a perfect swing up the middle.

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: Boston should do that with Grady Little. Or have one with Buckner eating the taco, and drop it.

He swings at balls in the dirt because he can hit balls in the dirt 8 miles. The guy can hit anything.

He can, but sometimes the balls are so ugly I just don't know what's going on with him. Obviously he can hit it, but it's obvious he's not very selective with his pitches.
