Miz-show-- A new potential tag team?

Ok, so monday night we saw the miz and big show team up. Could this be the start of a new team? As we know, nobody is chalenging DX for the titles. If Miz drops the US title to MVP do you think they can be new contenders for the title? I for one see them as a random team that wwe is using them for comedy. But thats just my opinion, what do you think Mizashow (miz and big show) can turn into?

Hopefully not. I cannot stand it when the modern day WWE takes random singles stars and puts them together for no apparent reason. While I do not like the idea of HHH and Michaels holding the tag belts when they should belong to up and comers, at least they have history together. I wouldn't have a problem with them doing something like putting MIz and Big Show together, if I wasn't completely sure that it will last for six months because they might not have anything else for them to do. For the love of God, build up a tag division with ACTUAL tag teams, young guys who actually need the titles in hopes of building singles careers someday. Or, how about some guys are just MEANT for tagging up? The tag division used to be important.

the tag team division used to be great. hart foundation, british bulldogs, beefcake/valentine, etc.

i blame the rock-and-sock connection for the beginning of the end.

look at tna? beer money, british invasion, mcmg. they know how to do it right.

WWE needs to beef up the tag division back to its prime. And those were during the Attitude Era. You can make a case for the Harts, LOD, and all the 80's early 90's teams. But when the Attitude Era was at its high point Tag teams were GREAT. Edge/Christian Hardys, Dudley Boys. Now those were tag teams and their TLC matches were epic and the sheer loyaltys to those teams by the fans were awesome.

I loved the Miz/Morrison combo. And the Jerishow combo had some great potential. But lately it has been very shotty.

I say no. Miz was just recently apart of a big tag team with Morrison and the same as Big Show with Y2J. If Miz drops the U.S title to MVP & go for the tag team belts, for Miz & Show they will be going in a full circle. They will make a good team thought. I think that idea should wait to see how Miz will be doing in the future.

What WWE needs to do is get some fresh tag teams, Primo & Bourn, R-Truth & Matt Hardy are not doing anything they all would make a good team. Get some of those ECW stars to get involved in the tag team title picture too. Hart Dynasty, Cryme Time & now Punk & Luke are team that need other tag teams competitors or less its Hart Dynasty vs Cryme Time for the 500th time.

Tag Division has almost always ended in a singles push for one or the other. The example you have proves my point. Hitman broke away as a singles wrestler, as did Davey Boy, and both Brutus and Valentine. Even the Rockers fall in this category. The difference is that either because of us fans or the many shows per week the tag teams just can't last as long before the eventual split. And one a tag team does form everyone is already waiting for the split.

i think it was a one time dealmiz just got his first singles title and is looking more and more like the next huge heel champ, to team him up with show would be a step back miz has already done the tagteam scene. i think this is wwe trying to find somthing for show to do. what a waste hes been as the only real giant these days if they dont find away to push show isee him jumping to tna when his contract is up that would be huge for tna and if they use him in the me with the gold he would be usefull and properly used for once. if any tagteam will form itll be jerishow again. and the tag belts should without a doubt be put on someone else dx is useing them as props (i am a huge dx mark) but agree that there miss useing them id like to see punk & gallows take em and later dropem too hart dynasty

i think it'd be cool if they used Show and Miz not necessarily as a tag team... but more of a partnership... like they could team together if the situation permits... but most otherwise the Big Show could be like Miz's bodyguard...(HBK/Diesel)...

think about it... someone with a smart ass mouth like Miz would probably need a bodyguard in real life. i think it makes sense.

I really like this idea because Big Show has nothing to do at the moment and having Miz drop the tittle to MVP would be for the best Because MVP doesn't have anything going on at the moment and him winning could set up a feud with Jack Swagger. My only problem with this is I think people are getting sick of Big show having those tittles because thats all he did for 2009.

Eh, it was probably a one time thing, though since they are both heel, they could work together on occasion. However, Miz is on the path to bigger and better things. He wont' be put in a tag team any time soon.

Also, a point missed by the above poster is that there is no contenders to DX's belts........wrong. CM Punk and Luke Gallows won a match to be number one contenders to DX's belts. I think that it's a great idea for that pairing to win them as Punk on both shows would be great exposure to his character and his "straight edge society" could then recruit on both shows. For his current angle, it's absolutely perfect and I hope it comes to fruition.

that whole segment last night on RAW with heder miz and show was utterly bad. we've already seen Show tagged up with a much smaller egomaniac, and I think the fans are pretty much tired of it. to be totally honest, I'm really not sure what they should do with the big show, i was thinking hes doing a slow face turn myself. but who knows with the erratic creative team that the WWE has

Well Miz is busy with MVP and the U.S. Title scene. And for your concern CM Punk and Luke Gallows are the #1 contenders for the tag titles. Sooo both DX and Miz are busy. Where has Big Show has nothing. Besides I think this is just too random. And this will just be JeriShow part 2 almost. Just not as good. You have the strong fat guy and the brash matermind, yep Jerishow part 2. Not to mention the John Heder Miz/Show promos were horrible. So no, I think this was just a one time thing.

I wouldn't want it to happen on a regular basis. Big Show's good for getting people over, but The Miz is getting better week in and week out and pairing him up with The Big Show won't give him any extra benefit in my opinion.

Miz should stay far away from the Big Show as possible because he doesn't need it. He was in a tag team with Morrison for so long and finally broke out and has really improved the past couple of years. He is now United States and what looks like a decent feud upcoming. If he can keep improving this year, who knows what can be in store for him. Teaming with Big Show would just be a step back and it was different for Jericho because he just got done with a feud with Mysterio and had nothing to do at the time.

I thought luke gallows and punk won the number one contendership last friday night to step up and face DX? I'm pretty sure they did. And no, miz needs to be a singles player on raw and hopefully become world champion by years end. He's improving in the ring and is amazing on the mic.

Yo i think that if they actually did become a tag team they should be called the shiz lol or maybe the big shiz haha but in all seriousness they are probably not going to become a tag team because they showed zero promise in their first night and they are both accomplished tag team wrestlers trying to make it on their own.

The Miz and The Big Show would make a good tag team. Since The Miz is like the next Jericho (because of the cocky attitude, mic work, and good ring ability) it would be like another Jerishow. And WWE is starting to get the tag team division back with jimmy wang yang and jesse, Trent Barretta & Caylen Croft, Yoshi Tatsu & Goldust, Regal and Jackson, the hart dynasty, legacy, dx, crime time. And they could have one with primo and bourne. That shows me that the tag team division may be coming back soon!!!!!!!!

After last night's match, hopefully we won't see the two paired up again in the near future. Their debut as a tag team was anything but good. Losing in a comedy match to DX and Hornswoggle (with Horny actually getting the pin) isn't exactly making a splash.
Also, Miz is doing well as a singles competitor. It's amazing how everyone (including myself) despised him when he first came on the scene. Now I find him a worthwhile character.

This team would work because The Miz could act as the mouthpiece just as Jericho did for Jeri-Show. Miz and Show are right near the main event level, while Jericho can clearly compete at main event status on his own.

Hopefully not but they did a solid job. Hopefully not for a couple reasons:

1) The tag team division is still lackluster and almost non-existent and thrown together teams don't cut it for me. I generally like two natural guys teaming although Rated Y2J would have been EPIC.

And...

2) The Miz should do a great job maybe not rebuilding the RAW mid-card level but can be a solid staple for it for some more time to come.

I think that Miz and Big Show could be a decent tag team, but they have a VERY tough act to follow (JeriShow) since it's a similar team but with Miz instead of Jericho. A few fans might think they won't get far because of that. I don't expect them to win the Unified Tag Team Championships, but it would give Big Show something to do. It would also give Miz a storyline if he loses the US title to MVP (which I see happening so MVP and Swagger could feud for the US Championship).... If this team is going to challenge DX for their belts, that means we'd see DX and the Miz on the mic against each other, and that would certainly be entertaining! DX will most likely retain if these two teams had a match for the titles though.

miz is a very good united states champ now...the guy gets good pops even though he is a heel
he is adding credibility to the title. why in the world u want a great upper midcarder to be randomly tagged with bigshow ???

i want to see miz hold the united states states for long enough so that he could build some interesting fueds in the near future
