Miz-show-- A new potential tag team?

I think for a short term, and by that I mean month or two, it's a good idea. By being with the Big Show, Miz can enter and engage into feuds with top named stars credibly. I don't imagine that this is a long term plan, and the break up of it could turn Big Show face, which he always performs better as, and it could solidify Miz as being someone that is thought of in the same breath as these other guys towards the top of the card. I'd be highly surprised if they last for anything approaching the length of time that Jerishow did, but we shall wait and see.

I like the miz but he needs to continue to do singles work plus hes in a feud with mvp right now. You said noone is challenging dx for the tag titles. Thats actually incorrect. Team straight edge became the new #1 contenders for the tag titles last week on smackdown. I will say that if straight edge doesnt win the titles Id like to see show team up with someone young someone who has potential but isnt goin anywher right now. Like swagger or bourne. I doubt that will happen tho. If nothing else I hope dx loses the tag titles because Im tired of hornswoggle getting involved in their matches and I want them split up.

I like Tasty's idea here. I have no problems teaming them up, but keep it to a limited time. The E should focus on Miz's singles run and not throw him in another tag team for a long period. But if it is something short we could see them have a match or two for the Unified titles. And maybe after a defeat or two from the hands of DX we can see Miz abuse Show of sorts and harass him. This could cause Show to snap and make a much needed face turn.

Having Miz and Big Show team together is a mistake. They already had Jerico and Big Show, and that was enough. I think the WWE needs to build some new tag teams to go with some of the good young tag teams they have. I like the current teams of Hart Dynasty, Legacy etc. But, there are not enough of these teams to make the tag division credible.

Some ideas for new WWE tag teams that I have are teaming Swagger and Ziggler, and calling them something like Young Guns. Put Evan Bourne, and Low Ki aka Kaval together when Kaval arrives from FCW, and make them a high flying team. Just some ideas that I could think of that could make the tag team division exciting again. This would also help build new main event stars like they did in the past with Bret Hart, HBK, Edge, and Jeff Hardy.

The tag team division has made no sense for a long time now. It is time for WWE to make a change.

I say wait and see just what happens with The Miz during this u.s title run. If he flops after he drops it, then teaming him up with Big Show would be ok. They seemed good on Raw Monday, and if the are meant to be just tag and upper mid carders for life, so be it and keep them a team. Miz and Big Show have just been parts of tag teams in the past year and they both need to be away from it for a while longer. Big Show may not be going anywhere, but this is Miz's chance to shine and should be getting the chance to do so.

I really don't think so. They're simply the top two heels on Raw after Orton and Sheamus (scary thought, huh?) and Orton is busy in his WWE title "feud". So they threw Miz and Show together so that DX would have someone to beat that night so they could celebrate at the end of the show and make themselves seem more important than everyone else for yet another week. Joy.

Being in another tag team is probably exactly what the Big show needs right now or else he's going to go back to beating up random midcarders again. But The Miz should be above that. The guy has so much going for him right now, he's US champion, he's over and is getting nearer to being a main eventer every day. The guy is just hot right now, he shouldn't be dragged down by the Big Show. And he definitely shouldn't be dropping the title to MVP, cause I'm pretty sure MVP is a lost cause at this point, destined to be a career jobber to the stars. Maybe when Miz is ready to go to the main event, he'll drop to MVP who'll act as a transitional champion. But Miz is still doing his US title thing and he's doing great on his own.

I hope that show and miz turn into nothing. Seriously, miz is on a roll right now and to put him in a tag team with show would be ridiculous. Im still not a big fan of the miz but lately he's delivered some of the best promos on raw in recent memory and is above average in the ring. Putting him in a team with show is hopefully just a random thing done to kill some time until the rumble and put over the every man for themselves concept as the end of raw saw everyone turning on each other. I really hope miz doesn't get saddled with the big show as a partner, it would kill the momentum he's gained. He's establishing himself as a singles star now and going back to the tag team division ( if you can call it that) would regress that process. It would however be great for show as he'd have a mouthpiece again. I do think it's just a one shot deal to push the rumble matches psychology.

I was really pissed to see him tagging with Show.. First thing that came to mind: 'Damn, they're trying really hard to get this guy to be the next Chris Jericho.' you know.. the tights... and now, tag partner. Coincidence? I think not.

The Miz right now is one of the hottest things as a single star right not and he is doing just fine on his own. He is done with the tag division for now, and he needs to keep his singles push going and plus Big Show needs to get out of tag for a while also, he is not needed there and he doesn't need to be in there.

I have to disagree on the two of them being a tag team. showmiz was just a one night tag team like otha previous teams and i wouldnt wna c them as a team in the future, reason being is that miz is starting to climb the ME ladder. it feels kinda repetitive for the wwe teaming two singles superstars and hoping something will work out, yes it worked well a few times ( mizmo, jerishow, rated rko) but this team, who had great success elsewhere as a team, just wont work imo. BIG SHOW should go back to ecw and dominate whilst miz feuds wit mvp/bourne to be the next breakthru superstar.
