Jeri-Show or Show Miz?

Occasional Pre-Show
I'm very surprised there hasn't been a thread about this already. Apologies if there has been!

But now that Show Miz is history, I was wondering who everyone thought the better tag team was. I mean, how could you not draw comparisons between these two? Big Show dumped Jericho and went pretty much directly into teaming with The Miz. (besides that one tag match with Chavo Guerrero against DX, and whatever else he may have done in-between) At the time I grumbled about it and called it a step down for the Big Show. I didn't think it would work, but alas it did and Show Miz was a very entertaining albeit short-lived tag team. I still give the nod to Jeri-Show though, but it's just a matter of preference. Jericho is a bigger star than Miz, and I don't seem to be swinging off of the Miz's sack like the rest of the IWC does, although I do like him and always have.

So......Jeri-Show or Show Miz?

I will definitely have to go with Jeri-Show. Show and Jericho have probably had the best reign as Unified tag champs so far. I enjoyed the matches they had with DX, and I believe Jeri Show was the more dominant tag team.

Show Miz was okay. One of the reasons I say this is because I was upset Punk and Gallows didn't win the tag titles. I can't really remember any good feuds they had, and their match VS Morrison and Truth at Wrestlemania was nothing worth remembering. I believe Show Miz was formed to help add to the Miz's star power status by having him be a double champion.

My pick goes to Jeri Show, and for me, it's not even close.

Jerishow by far. Jericho looked far better with Big Show than Miz ever could. In the Showmiz, Miz did nothing but lose matches or pin after Big Show knocked someone out.

Show Miz- They had potential just because jericho was a bigger star does not mean that the team cannot be better than the other. And show miz had good mic skills together and i enjoyed all the matches they had. Also they had a pretty sick theme

Jeri-show was the better team. I can't think of a tag team match they were involved in that I didn't like as tag team champions. Jericho was the technical wrestler, while Big Show was the powerhouse and X-Factor in the group's victories. They had great tag team matches with the likes of Cryme Tyme, DX, and Batista and Rey Mysterio (which had one of the coolest finishes I've seen in a tag team match).

This is not a knock on Show-Miz. I think their title run was probably cut short and could have been equally as good if they were given time.

jerishow had a good reign anda good match with dx at the tlc ppv, but after theyformed getting the titles, and broke up loosing the titles, almost the same with shomiz, but what i liked with showmiz is that it gave the miz a bit of a push and time on the mic, which he was always entertaining on, but now with big show out of the picture the miz should get good us title fueds w/ any decent midcarder left on raw, i want to saw morrison and/or rtruth but their a tagteam, andless they make morrison and truth break up turning morrison heel like everyones been bitchign about ever since his face turn. yes he was beter as heel but still.

jerishow was much better, bigger star, better in the ring, and the presence they had together was so dominating, and showmiz didnt have that, they were good and i liked them, and thought it was good for both it wasnt the same, and the matches jerishow had were so much better, amazing quality at every turn, the showmiz matches were not, the mania match was sad, jerishow all the way, liked showmiz, but jerishow was way beter

I have to say JeriShow. Nothing against Miz. He really is awesome but ShowMiz clearly would not have happened if JeriShow hadn't. JeriShow was a great shock and one of the great things I like in a tag team. They had almost nothing in common, save for the fact that I find both hilarious. Show doesn't get enough credit for being a funny guy. Anyway, they came in and had the look of a tag team. The only negative I have is that they didn't really have that defining match that makes teams great.

I enjoy Show clearly more than others here but neither teams got to be what tag teams used to mean, especially during the real TLC days. Unfortunately I'm guessing that now that the Hart's have the titles they'll go back to what they once were, and especially once Bret leaves. I am not a fan of that team. Maybe they'll feud with the Colons, someone on their level.

jerishow for me, they did what edge n jericho were supposed to do, bring some validity back to the tag belts, as well as give credible heels to be used where needed. jerishow were everywhere, facing the faces in all sorts of matches. Boastful, heat drawing, believable and versatile. jerishow would have been a credible team even in the heyday of E&C, Hardys etc. Showmiz were good and enjoyable but not at the jerishow level IMHO

Jerishow they seemed to open up raw every week they main evented a pay per view and had a longer title reign and better feuds. Shomiz was a transitional team that gave something meaningful for show and miz to do before the draft. Also jerishow had a much better entrance theme

Jerishow. Better name. Better entrance music. Better matches. Shomiz to me had the better interaction between each other cause I don't think the Miz treated Big Show as a piece of meat as much as Jericho did, but nonetheless, Jerishow was miles more successful.

Another vote for Jeri-Show. Not really close. It's all about Jericho really. Miz is a very talented and certainly a natural heel, but he hasn't quite mastered it yet like Jericho. Jericho is the BEST heel in the industry right now. Randy Orton is a close second, but Jericho is on another level. His interactions with Big Show were absolutely hilarious and the way he treated Big Show like a piece of big dumb meat was the best part! He's the heel that you hate, but laugh with at the same time.

By faaaar, Jeri-show, they had a great title run with the tag titles, the best since they unified them, great matches every ppv, they looked good together, succesfully defended the titles when we thought they'd lose and made each other look good.
Every Raw, they would run into the guest hosts and make themselves look like fools, i especially enjoyed jericho.

This can't even be argued, it's Jeri-show by a long shot, they had better defenses which I really enjoyed watching, and I think it's a shame they had to loose the title to D-generation X who wasn't going to be walking around on Smackdown every week, so it didn't get the same exposure that Jeri-show gave it.

While you could still say that ShoMiz was entertaining, and a decent team to say the least, they didn't do the same to keep me tuning in to watch them, around the time when Jeri-show were champions I actually watched RAW for the sole purpose of watching Jericho cut another promo, I loved their shenanigans, I loved how they fought over who was the team leader, and I absolutely loved how Jericho was always screaming and yelling "YOU SEE THAT!" "HE'S A GIANT DESTROYER"

Jericho and Big Show is by far one of my favorite tag teams of all time I might even go as far as to say, sure they weren't the greatest tag team to put on matches, but they did put on some decent matches every now and then, and me being Jericho fan I loved the fact that I could watch Jericho both on RAW and Smackdown every week.

Jeri-show it is, by a long shot.

Edit: pressed post reply too quick...

Jeri-Show lasted longer, had the bigger star and wasn't used to enhance anyone. ShoMiz was designed (it appears) to make The Miz seem like a bigger star. I enjoyed them but they weren't as entertaining as Jericho and Big Show. Taht team made Show relevant again and gave jericho tons of creative stuff to do and while they did ultimately fall where ShoMiz succeded (DX), they were still tjhe better team. They put on good entertaining matches and worked well together they took down almost every team in the company (Cryme Tyme, Legacy, MVP/Henry, Batista/Mysterio etc...) and made sure that they were a force to be reckoned with.

I hate both of them, but JeriShow gets the edge. No one seems to remember that the original title holders were Edge and Jericho. Just thought I'd point that out. But JeriShow had the titles for a long time. ShowMiz won after Miz rolled up Shawn Michaels for a cheap win.

JeriShow definaltly. I'll say that because they were a bigger surprise, seeing as noone knew who Jerichos partner was going to be, you saw the reason for their forming instantly and they used the perk that comes with the Unified Tag Team Championship, which is being able to be on any show, any time. Overall, they looked better with the titles, they used them well, and they were good in the ring. ShoMiz just felt kinda like a rip off.

JeriShow, they were one of the main focus points of Raw for the second half of 2009. On the other hand ShoMiz started off good with a win over DX but due to the road to Wrestlemania they got lost in the shuffle and lost allot of air time. JeriShow beat ShoMiz because they were able to show case themselves more often.

i got to go with jeri-show they were better team and altho miz is getting better in the ring he is no where near as good at Jericho and i think he fit better with show miz i think hid behind show more and with showmiz you could see the team would end soon with miz not listening to what show would say we all knew that one day show would turn on him but with jeri-show they seamed more solid as a team i know Jericho would hid behind show but he didnt go overboard with like miz Jericho would come out and win matches for him self because he is one of the best in the ring right now in imo is at top of his game and the best he has ever been i like seeing Jericho in the ring the now i know when he is in it wrestling or just on mic i know we are going to get 100% from him and we do

Jerishow by far. Two main event level guys and several title reigns between the two of them and they just looked a hell of a lot better. The pairing was great and it was a shame it ended when it did because I could've seen them still the champions to this day. They could've done a lot more with the tag division then ShowMiz ever could. They were just the better team.

While Jeri-Show had more star power, I have to go with Show-Miz, they definitly had better mic skills and drew great heat, sure Jeri-Show had alot of heat, but that was mostly because of Jericho, not both of them, however, Big Show did seem to wrestle a bit more when he was teaming with Jericho, I'd have to go with Show-Miz, based on potential and mic skills
