Miz, Jericho and Big Show. Tag-Team or Triple Threat?

Smart-Ass
I can understand Chris Jericho and the Miz being paired together to fued against Big Show, given their recent tag team histories.

Personally, and I seem to be alone in this but, I don't like Jericho and Miz as a tag team. I think they are far too similar. They have the same look, have the same personality, even similar movesets.

They can't really have a two on one fued, and who can they team with the Big Show, there isn't anyone else that fits in to this picture.

I would rather see it as a triple-threat fued over the US Title, since it hasn't been defended this year, as far as I can remember.

What are your thoughts?

And that's a bad thing? being similar and have similar move sets has proved to be quite a good thing for tag teams in past history, two power houses, two high flyers, or two technical wrestlers, either way they've proved to be successful and good teams, so being the same doesn't exactly hurt the potential of the team.

They can't really have a two on one fued, and who can they team with the Big Show, there isn't anyone else that fits in to this picture.

Sure they can have a two on one feud, Triple H had a 1 on 3 feud basically during the time where he feuded with Randy Orton and Legacy.

I would rather see it as a triple-threat fued over the US Title, since it hasn't been defended this year, as far as I can remember.

That wouldn't make much sense, seeing as Big Show is the current contender for a world title on another show, Big Show is above the United States championship right now, and wouldn't make a good champion right not due to the fact that the United States championship in the past years time has been used to elevate talent, just as the Intercontinental championship.

Same goes for Chris Jericho, while he's versatile to adjust to fighting for the mid-card championships, I don't see why he would benefit from a United States championship, because the title is decent already, Chris Jericho in my eyes is one to step up and hold the title, and make them legitimate once more, and to serve as a transactional champion for the world championships.

What are your thoughts?

It's not gonna work, as I mentioned above, only The Miz is properly in a position to actually hold the championship and benefit from it, and The Miz wouldn't get properly elevated because two upper mid-card / main eventers feuded for a mid-card championship rather than a feud for a world title or something in those directions.

Besides, you're completely forgetting the fact that Miz and Jericho is on RAW, Big Show is stuck on Smackdown.

I'm not forgetting that at all, but Jericho and Miz both have NXT rookies, therefore CAN appear on SmackDown. This fued could end up as 3 on 1 if Barrett joins, or 4 on 1 if JeriMiz can get Daniel Bryan to join as well.

I don't think Big Show can find any partners, certainly not any that would make sense as a part of this fued, and take on upto 4 people

Now I did not know that, I figured they were stranded on their respectable shows, either way it wouldn't make much sense to even draw them to be feuding with Big Show when he's on a different show, and he's in the middle of a different feud, and I remain convinced that the fact that Big Show and Chris Jericho feuding for the United States Championship wouldn't serve a point rather than letting Miz feud with them into the main event scene.

Well, Big Show didn't make much sense to be associated with Chris Jericho or The Miz during their respectable tag team runs, but they made it work, even if it was just what seemed like was ment to be a brief pairing of Miz and Big Show, and Chris Jericho and Big Show having history of not getting along very well.
They'll find a way to make something work if they really do end up pairing Big Show with someone completely new to feud with what I have my doubts will be called "JeriMiz" but more in the direction of "Mizicho" (but that's just my opinion, cause JeriMiz sounds awful to my ears)

i respectfully disagree here. Big Show could team up with Kane. they're former tag team champions together and Kane has been feuding with the NXT rookies. so if Jericho and Miz form a tag team and get their rookies involved, Kane would be the perfect choice for a tag team partner for Show. they're both faces, again are former partners and tag champs. plus, it could add some credibility to the tag team division as a whole to get a dominant tag team in there like these two.

and slightly off subject, but i'd kinda like to see Big Show and Great Khali be tag team partners. i know that they're just big and kinda oafish, but they both have adjectives in their names, a la Big and Great, and would just be such a dominating force. there's never been a team as big or heavy as these two would be. some possible names for these two could be Colossal Connection, Twin Towers, Double Trouble, etc. these have all been used, but would be fitting given their size and dominance. and it could lead to a great storyline where they hold the belts for long while and are undefeated in the division for months and months... then, a tag team reforms to take them down. i'm thinking like E & C or Rated RKO or something like that. maybe it's just stupid, but i'd love to see the Tag Division matter again.

Well, I can't use spoliers here, but, Kane isn't going to be helping anyone any time soon.

As of right now, I see Jericho and Miz screwing over Show for the title a few times. They may make Big Show look like one of those "teddy bear" big men.

But, personally, "The World's Biggest Athlete" doesn't strike fear like that name should. He's been easily tamed in the past. I want Show to start crushing people, and acting like "The World's Biggest Athlete". I just see Miz and Jericho feuding with him to boost his mic skills.

"Well, I can't use spoliers here, but, Kane isn't going to be helping anyone any time soon."

i'm not looking for spoilers here and i've not heard any news regarding Kane for quite a while. but i'm hoping from this oh-so-cryptic message above that this means Kane will be in a World Title hunt. i doubt it, but i've liked Kane for a long time and his one-day reign is just not enough for me.

maybe Kane should team up with Taker again and reform the Brothers of Destruction. i know i keep getting off track with the original thread, but i have been waiting a long time to see a great tag team division again, and these two could certainly add to that.

back to the original thread, then, couldn't Big Show team up with Taker? they're both faces, both on Smackdown, and also have been tag champs together before. plus Taker lost the title to Jericho just a few months ago, so there's some history there and Taker could be wanting some revenge. plus he could dominate the rookies with Show just because they haven't "earned" the veteran's respect yet. always a good angle.

Some are missing out on the fact that after the Hart Dynasty beat Kozlov/Regal we saw Jeri-Miz or Ego Maniacs or whatever name they're going with attack DH Smith was it? So we're seeing a new team step up to feud with HD now that ShoMiz are done with. Personally I don't see your idea working, I think the whole anti-Show thing was just a way to show how the two are unified in how they were both former partners and co-held the tag titles with the man, yet they ultimately lost them and heels being heels blamed the faces, with SD building up the likes of Kingston, Christian, Rhodes and Ziggler for the time being need to fill the void and Show is a very reliable worker for WWE, Undertaker is off because its the time where he takes his time off, Jericho and Edge are now on Raw, another two top stars lost to Raw, so Show is now feuding with Swagger. Now we know Show wont win because of his age, he's done pretty much everything he can do, he's simply helping Swagger get over more. So Jeri-Miz will do their thing on Raw and Show will do his thing on SD, if Show remained on Raw then yeah perhaps we would've seen him find his own partner, they could've drafted Kane and the two could've reformed, a team I loved by the way, but its a different approach. Jericho and Miz are very similar, both incredible mic workers, Jericho is a top tier talent who can help Miz out and Miz has improved vastly, and I see the two working very well together.
