Sometimes matches don't look exciting on Paper, but the matches turn out to be excellent....

Sometimes a match card look's really exciting, but the PPV turn's out to be a dud (Wrestlemania 25)....

This Wrestlemania will deliver in some way, trust me. Maybe that's not the most "Star-studded" wrestlemania card of all-time, but they look like potentially great wrestling matches, and to me, that's what matter's the most.

Having great WRESTLING at WRESTLEmania, not just star-power.

I agree with Benz19 in that it dependes on the booking. But then again how good has been the booking been as of late?I find the booking to be a huge let down. So far this year's Wrestlemania looks like a total bore. Often I find that I forget that Wrestlemania is even coming up. Not a single match look even remotely interesting.

I don't see any problem personally. There are a lot of younger guys involved in high profile matches at WM this year and this is a big chance for them to step up and show that they have what it takes to be the future of the company. If the WWE can build interest in the WM matches, then the lack of star power might not matter. Remember, we're still got a good amount of time for the final developments to fall into place.

As long as they've got interesting feuds and provide good matches for Mania, then that's really what I care about. I don't watch WrestleMania to see celebrities or catch glimpses of pro sports teams or movie stars sitting in the audience. I care about what plays out inside the ring and all of those rumored matches sound good to me.

The Miz vs. John Cena - It's possible that this match might not happen but it looks very likely at this point. The Miz has generated a lot of renewed interest in the WWE Championship picture. Like him or hate him, you can't deny that and to me, that's the single most important job of a World Champion. If the fans don't give a shit, then nothing else matters. This has the potential to be a great match and for both wrestlers to give a standout performance. Even if Miz loses, this could be the setting in which he can silence a lot of critics by showing that he no doubt belongs in the main event picture.

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk - This is a great feud thus far and the intensity was turned way up this past Monday on Raw. CM Punk is, in my view, one of the best overall pro wrestlers in the world today. He's got the mic skills, he's got personality, charisma, he's great inside the ring. Randy Orton is more over with fans now than he's ever been at any point in his career. I think he's also a lot of fun to watch inside the ring and these two could potentially bring the house down. If this match happens, I expect it to be physical and highly competitive.

The Undertaker vs. Triple H - The rumor is that this will be a streak vs. career match. Like most people, I truly do wish that Sting would've gone to WWE and been Taker's opponent but it's not going to happen. This can still be a great match that has the potential to generate some great emotions. It probably won't be as good as the two Taker vs. HBK WM matches and that's alright, you can't just pull epic encounters like that out of your ass at will. Triple H is basically being set up to take over the company when Vince steps down, Trips has done everything there is to do really so having him go out at WM to Taker makes sense. As with HBK, WM could be the last time we ever see Triple H wrestle ever again. That's going to generate interest and that's going to generate emotions, nostalgia and all kinds of other stuff. Plus, if HBK is used as a special referee, they can build up the notion that HBK is going to screw over Taker and at least have some hand in ending his streak. It might not be the Taker vs. Sting, but there's still a lot of potential here.

The Nexus vs. The Corre - Two teams comprised of young, hungry guys that are looking to make their mark basically. This could be a fun match or it might be a dud. Once again, if this match actually takes place. I'm gonna hold off final judgement on this one. I do think that it looks the weakest at this point, however.

Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio - I think this will be a great match and, as I eluded to earlier, this is a chance for a fresh face to make a huge impression at the biggest show of the year. Del Rio's got talent, he's loaded with charisma, has really good mic skills and has drawn great heat since his arrival. Even if Del Rio loses here, he has a chance to cement himself as a big time player on a long term basis.

Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes - This also has a lot of potential to be a great wrestling match. This could also be a feud that elevates Cody Rhodes to another level. Some people don't like the whole Dashing thing but I think Rhodes has nailed it. This should be a quick paced, highly energetic match that's really competitive. And, once again, Cody Rhodes has the chance to make a big and lasting impression.

I'm sure that there are more matches that will be added to the WM card so we'll just have to wait and see what it ultimately looks like. Some people do like some sort of special attraction at WM and if the guest host for the show turns out to be The Rock, I think it'll definitely get people interested in ordering the show. So far, at least based on these rumored matches and the guest host, WM is looking just fine to me.

Despite the OP is being absolute garbage, it's an interesting question. If the "rumored" card of Miz/Cena, Edge/Del Rio, Orton/Punk, HHH/Taker, and Corre/Nexus (in some fashion) turns out to be what they're actually going with, it's pretty underwhelming, in my opinion.

Miz is a main-event guy, no doubt. But worthy of closing the show at Mania? I don't think he's on that level yet. He gets a great amount of heat, and he's playing the cowardly champion very well. But, no one is going to convince he's on the level of Cena, Orton, HHH, Edge, Taker, etc. right now.

Orton and Punk is a great secondary feud, and it's been quite entertaining thus far. Not sure how great the match will be, seeing I have no idea what kind of in-ring chemistry they have. Like I said earlier, great secondary feud, and this is exactly where Miz belongs.

If Miz isn't on the top level, there's no way Del Rio is. Sure, maybe he's a star-in-the-making, but he isn't there yet. He goes right from a mid-card feud with Mysterio, to winning the Rumble, to main-eventing Mania? He won't close the show, so it's not really the main event, but this is still a bit over his head.

I just don't see this years Mania having that one match that packs a punch like Mania usually does. Some solid feuds, and matches for sure, but not the "big draw" of previous years.

Honestly, I love card but i'm really disappointed that they are abandoning the Taker/Kane feud and HHH/Sheamus III. I mean seriously Kane just whooped Taker three times in a row. Right now I think Kane is the one who could end the streak. The undertaker has yet to beat Kane and for him to ignore him makes it appear that kane is the more dominant character.

Same goes for HHH/Sheamus. I've been waiting a year now for HHH/Sheamus III and for HHH to forget about what Sheamus did? Not in character.

HHH/Taker would work but only after they finish off Kane and Sheamus. I being honest I would've pay per viewed WM27 just to see Sheamus/HHH III.

I cannot see any reason as to why this year's Mania might bomb.

First off you have Miz vs Cena. While Miz might be new onto the main event scene, John Cena is a veteran. And Cena has not been in a championship match for a long time. Just the thought of Cena having a shot at the title after such a long time is going to excite the Cenation.

Randy Orton has been the hottest babyface in the WWE since John Cena in 2004-2005 and CM Punk has been a great heel as well. I see no reason why this match should not attract fans.

Undertaker vs Triple H has the ability to be as huge as Undertaker vs HBK if it is built up well. It is certainly going to create a lot of intrigue if WWE go through with this because Triple H is not known to lose much and he will certainly not be expected to lose in his return feud. It has also been rumored that HBK might be the guest referree for the match and that will certainly be a welcome addition.

Edge vs Del Rio is the only match on the card which looks a bit disappointing but it is too early to tell what direction WWE will take with this feud. Maybe Ziggler is going to be involved, maybe even Christian. Either way it is too early to tell.

Plus there is the guest host for the event. Mcmahon has certainly made a big catch or else he would not go about announcing it. Whoever it is, it is certainly going to get the fans interested to buy the event.

WrestleMania 27 is certainly shaping up to be a exciting card. When I compare it to last years' card the only thing missing is a match like Hart vs McMahon which is something that is only going to happen once in a decade. Other than that the card is at par with last year's card.

I don't have high hopes...i'm not really interested in the card this year...HHH v. Taker could be good...thats really the only big match feel...miz and cena seems like a raw match, orton v. punk sounds good but again a match you could see on tv...rhodes v. mysterio sounds like a bragging rights smackdown team qualifying match...Corre v. Nexus reminds me to much of the ecw originals v. the new breed from mania 23...I think if the Rock is the guest host and has a significant role throughout the night, and the Hall of fame gets a impressive list of names, I think it can succeed. I personally would like to see Lawler kick coles ass and have some kind of WCW portion, maybe a gimmick battle royal...

After tonite's Raw... it really has me intrigued and perplexed as to how mania is going to play out. I think they have a TON of options at the moment. I know some of this might be a stretch, but hopefully not out of the realm of possibilities.

Corre vs Nexus

It looks pretty certain Orton will be facing Punk, so I'm not sure how they'll book this one. Unless they do a 3 man tag (slater, gabriel an zeke) vs (ryan, mcgillicuty and otunga). Might be tough since none of them are really seasoned except Zeke. Guess we'll see.

Orton vs Punk

This is pretty much a given. Punk got his revenge at Rumble for what Orton did a couple of years back. Great feud here and should be a superb match. I'd like to see Punk win but Orton is pretty unstoppable at the moment.

Cena vs The Rock

Now I don't know how likely this is, but after watching Raw tonite, something is bound to happen. I hope The Rock decides to wrestle. This match alone could make the PPV worthwhile. If this happens, I can definitely see a Cena heel turn (maybe even before mania) and him beating the Rock.

Lawler vs Cole

I don't much care for a match involving Lawler, but I'm happy for him. The man certainly deserves it. I'm sure this will be a smash fest with him obliterating cole--which could actually be semi-entertaining.

HHH vs Sheamus

I know it's being leaked that HHH is going up against Taker, but hear me out. Sheamus, in my opinion, has been getting buried lately. Morrision has beaten him numerous times, he got eliminated from the raw rumble by Lawler... and then last week Henry crushed him. Granted this week he did destroy Henry, the man needs out of this rut. He used to be a BEAST. Bring him back. It's looking like HHH wants out of the ring to do backstage stuff full time. Put a career vs whatever (havent' decided what yet) against Sheamus. have Sheamus retire HHH and cement this guy as a huge main eventer.

Taker vs Sting

This probably isn't very likely at this point, but after the mystery man scene tonite, it appears there are two people now. What if WWE has kept this from getting leaked and we see these two duke it out at mania. Of course Taker keeps the streak alive.

MITB

Eh... throw some smackdown dudes in there. Honestly not too interested in this, if they even do it.

Del Rio vs Edge (or Dolph)

I think this will be a great match, but I don't think Del Rio will win. I see the champ retaining here.

Miz vs Morrison

I'm not a Morrison fan at all, but I will give him credit. He's amazing in the ring. I think Miz retains here because I don't think Morrison is champ material yet (although a lot of people do I suppose). Unless, we see Riley turn on the Miz, cost him the championship--then we get a Miz face/tweener turn. This would make sense if Cena turns heel.

I don't follow Smackdown that much, so I'm not sure where the storyline with Barret is headed. Maybe he'll be in the MITB?

What are your thoughts? I know this might seem a little far fetched--but I wanna hear what you think!

The Rock last night returning was the greatest thing to happen in a long, long time. That promo he cut was one of the best ever in his career and he still has it. He says he wants to see both Miz and Cena at Wrestlemania.

It's obvious that Miz is gonna retain this Sunday. It's also obvious that Cena likely is gonna win the #1 contender's match. So how to fit all three in? Simple. I say let there be Miz vs. Cena for the WWE title and then this Monday Rocky comes out and says he is the special guest referee for the title match at Wrestlemania 27.

With over a month to hype the hell out of this thing; WWE can get their million plus buyrates for this. Hell they already got it with the return last night IMO. The Rock pledges to stay impartial. Until in the match when it gets to the point that Rocky can't take it anymore and Rock Bottoms Cena and covers 1-2-3 for the Miz. Since he said he would be impartial, then he Rock Bottoms The Miz in the middle of the ring and both bodies lie with the championship on top of the Miz and the Rock walks out of Wrestlemania having taking out two of the top stars in WWE today.

I have a few ideas that will GUARANTEE a massive buy-rate for Wrestlemania 27!

Based on what I saw on Raw this week,if I were Vince McMahon, I would change some of the plans for Wrestlemania. Here's how I (pretending to be Vince McMahon) would make Wrestlemania 27 deliver.

1) The Rock is guest host. But the Rock verbally buried the company's biggest superstar live on air. Why? Was it to get something of his chest, was it to show the talent how to cut a promo, or was it a teaser to possibly what would one of the biggest matches we might see at Wrestlemania? There must be a reason for it.

What I would do, if I was Vince, was ask the Rock what it would take for him to wrestle one more match. Then I would book a program where Cena responds to the Rock's taunts, and then book at Wrestlemania- THE ROCK VS JOHN CENA!

It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. WWE will never get a second chance at this, and if they don't do it, they will regret it. One of the biggest names of the past versus the company's "biggest" star. It HAS to happen, and if I were Vince, I would pull every string to convince the Rock to do the match. It doesn't matter what it costs, the WWE will recoup it in Wrestlemania buys if they do this match! Maybe Vince could use a Hall-Of-Fame induction to entice the Rock (since the Rock will get in eventually anyway, why not fast-track it if the Rock agrees to the match).

You would also have the biggest Hall-Of-Fame induction ever, with both the Rock and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels being inducted.

2)So, if Cena fights Rock, where does that leave the Miz? I, as Vince, would change who I planned to have win the Chamber, and instead of John Cena winning it, I would have another John win it- JOHN MORRISON!

I know Morrison is not liked on this forum for some unexplained reason, but it would then create a Miz-Morrison match at Wrestlemania. This feud already has built-in heat, as they are past tag-team partners. So, their past can be emphasised to sell the feud, and they would do a good match (better than a Cena-Miz match) because they did a great match on the first Raw of the year, when it was a Falls-Count-Anywhere Match. If I have Rock-Cena, then Miz v Morrison makes sense.

3) The Undertaker v Triple H-"Streak v Career"- I would add one thing to this match-"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. Now, I know he retired last year, so hear me out. I would have HBK as the "special referee". Shawn will be in the building anyway, for his HoF introduction to the crowd. This would make the match more interesting, as it would raise the question- Will Shawn call the match down the line, where in one corner, he has his best friend, and in the other, the man who ended his career? So, Taker's streak could look in trouble, as no-one knows if Shawn will do the right thing, or seek some revenge for not wrestling at Wrestlemania this year. The promos and the speculation would raise the roof. Will Shawn count the pin that ends his friend, Triple H's career, or will he count the pin that will end the Deadman streak, figurately ending Taker's career, like Taker ended HBK's last year.

4) This is a combination of TWO matches. Firstly, I would have Christian win Money-In-The-Bank against the likes of Kofi Kingston, Ziggler, R-Truth, Drew McIntyre, Ted DiBiase, Daniel Bryan, Kane, Big Show & Sheamus. Later, I would have Edge retain his WWE Title against Alberto Del Rio in a brutal match, and then have Christian CASH IN MITB RIGHT THERE! Then, I would have Christian beat Edge for the WWE Title, and have the "Ultimate Opportunist" have the tables turned on him for once. Then this can lead to an Edge vs Christian WWE Title feud going forward.

5) I would have Rey Mysterio v Cody Rhodes in a mask. If you remember, Rey's 619 injured Cody's face, so Cody would return, with a mask, and promise to both expose and injure Rey's face. They would then clash at Wrestlemania, and if it works, follow it up at "Extreme Rules" in a Mask v Mask Match.

6) I would leave Randy Orton v C.M. Punk as it is. I would also book an eight-man match with members of the Nexus versus the Corre. Also, I would have Jerry "The King" Lawler have his Wrestlemania moment by having a match, either a handicap match against Michael Cole one-on-one, or Michael Cole and a mystery partner in a Handicap Match. Maybe the mystery partner could reveal himself to be the anonymous Raw GM. This would leave to Lawler having his "Wrestlemania" moment, and hopefully Michael Cole getting beaten up.

So, that would be my Wrestlemania, (if I was Vince McMahon). Maybe I might add another match or two, like a Divas Match, or a battle royal. However, I tell you, if the WWE did this, it would make Wrestlemania 27 huge, just on Rock-Cena, and Undertaker-Triple H with HBK as referee alone. So, would you get excited about a Wrestlemania which offered this?

Here are the matches again:-

What do people think?? ideas/changes

The reason there is no IC/US title is that i think Del Rio's Match at Elimination Chamber tonight, he will win IC title, even though its not (currently) on the line.
I believe they will merge the IC/WHC titles together, as well as the US/WWE Titles at wrestlemania, and introduce an cross brand x-division/cruiserweight/tv (whatever they want to call them) title later on

Right where should i start??

The Rock will Layeth the Smackdown on Arod or Cole to help Cena win then he will attack Cena thats the start of an epic storyline.

Vince will get stunnered but Austin. Its What we all wanna see.

The King will beat Cole. This would be a good gimmick match lol.

The Hall Of Fame Ceremony.

Orton will beat CM Punk despite The New Nexus coming out and interfering.

Edge will beat Del Rio. Then a possible chance of christian coming out. Or i think that might turn into a triple Threat. In The Case of a Triple Threat i wanna see Christian.

Taker will beat HHH. This match will not be streat vs career.
OR Taker will beat Barrett Despite and interference by The Corre

Therefore HHH Will face Shaemus. I Cant wait to see this one.

Maybe Even David Otunga Vs Big Show. This Would Be A Good Match.

Trish and Kelly Kelly will beat LayCool.

If anybody cares...

So, as of 10:20 PM EST, we officially have 3 matches (and a potential 4th) for Wrestlemania 27:

Miz vs. Cena

Edge vs. Del Rio

Triple H vs. Undertaker

(possible): CM Punk vs. Orton

I have 2 questions for you:

1) How do you rate the matches so far (example: are they a good idea or not)

2) What matches do you still want to see?

Personally, I think this card is pretty crappy so far...

So far, yes, it does look pretty crappy. It really depends on who you like.

CM Punk, I like, but not against Randy Orton. I just don't like Orton at all. Del Rio has a chance to up his stock, but I don't care about the match. HHH/Undertaker isn't the greatest match, but it is a match between two legends...

Miz/Cena? I can't believe Miz is main eventing WM. I think a match between Ziggler and a similar skilled opponent would be better than any of those, but then again, I'm kind of biased...

CM Punk vs. Orton will be a good match if not great match.

Del Rio vs. Edge should be made a triple threat match because I just feel thats not enough. Ziggler will probably be thrown in there.

Miz vs. Cena. OMFG Miz shouldn't be main eventing Wrestlemania, he shoulda lost to Orton at Royal Rumble. I'd rather see Sheamus/Orton then a match with the same four moves over and over again.

Taker vs. HHH has potential but it wont be no HBK vs Taker trust me on that one. The streak wont end make that 19-0 and Taker disappears for 5 months.

WWE Championship

The Miz(c) vs John Cena-Guest Ref-The Rock- Let me start by saying Miz shud not be headlining Mania', that being said this should be a solid match with typical Cena hype and Miz crap. Its also pretty clear that Rock will have something to do with this match after what he said on Raw. WINNER- JOHN CENA

World Title

Edge(c) vs. Alberto Del Rio- Now I know a lot of people are gonna think that Christian is going to have something to do with this match but I think Christian is going to win MITB and cash in against Edge at Summerslam, Edge has been rumored to retire and WWE need an Edge Christian match before that happens. As far as Del Rio goes, I just dont think he is ready to carry Smackdown, there is zero chance that Edge loses the title UNLESS Christian is added to this match. WINNER: EDGE

Streak vs Retirement Match

The Undertaker vs Triple H- Triple H is retiring thats is in the bag, and what better way to end it then against the Undertaker, and no HBK will dont be involved imho, I think he was serious about staying retired. That being said the build-up to this match is going to be huge, but its tipe for Trips to step out of the ring and firmly into management to fix all the problems. WINNER: UNDERTAKER

I Quit Match

CM Punk vs Randy Orton- This will be the match of the night if it happens with 2 exciting guys in their primes. I think this will definatly be a gimmick match of some sort with Nexus obviously getting invilved at some point, i see this having a crap ending in where somebody gets screwed or maybe having a gimmick of Nexus having to end if Punk loses...which wont happen. WINNER- PUNK

Tag Match

LayCool vs Kelly Kelly and Trish Stratus- I think Trish will wrestle, from what ive heard she loves it and wanted to come back for a reason, this is just a shot in the wind but I think it will happen. Now all I need from the divas is Kong to come out and sit on Rey Mysterio's face till he dies...but moving on WINNERS: KELLY TRISH

Money In The Bank

Christian vs Rey Mysterio vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Evan Bourne vs. Danial Bryan vs Kane- Im working on this one, but I have a strong strong feeling Christian is taking this if he is in it. WINNER- CHRISTIAN

Singles Match

Big Show vs Wade Barrett- This match would really suck but looks like it might happen.

Cross Brand Match

John Morrison vs Dolph Ziggler- I would love if this happened.

Singles Match

Mark Henry vs Chris Masters- Just Kidding ;)

People I forgot whom I have no clue where to put- Seamus, Eve, Kong, McIntyre, Corre, Nexus, Lawler,

It could just be me, but I think that all of the injuries this past year have actually turned out to work in the favor of the WWE. At the elimination chamber, Christian returned and got a huge pop. Also, last night, the Undertaker got a nice ovation, and Triple H was more over than I've heard in a while. Anyways, everyone thought that all these injuries were going to hurt the WWE, but I think its given the opportunity for other superstars to step up to the plate and prove their worth. Plus, with the return of the Rock and Trish Stratus and others, it seems to just keep getting better and better. And I actually think this could be one of the best Wrestlemanias if everything works out right. Now back to the original question, could all these returns help make Wrestlemania one of the best ever?

Let's put the announced / obvious out of the way

WWE Title: John Cena vs. The Miz

World Title: Alberto Del Rio vs. Edge

The Undertaker vs. Triple H

CM Punk vs. Randy Orton

now some match predictions

Wade Barrett and Ezekiel Jackson vs. The Big Show and Diesel
- Let's face it Barrett vs. Taker getting the nix means The Corre needs a good feud at WM to stay credible and Barrett vs. Big Show doesn't feel that big. What if Jackson and Barrett beat down Big Show only for Diesel making the save. Leading to a tag team match between the four. The Corre wins of course scoring victories over two former World Champions.

Mixed Tag Team Match: Drew McIntyre and Kelly Kelly vs. Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero
- Seriously going random here but Ziggler is over enough not to be in the MITB. I say McIntyre helps Kelly Kelly with her altercation with Ziggler and Guerrero. Set's up a Tag Team Match, McIntyre abandons Kelly Kelly at WM though possibly turning McIntyre into a bigger heel. Perhaps also joining a stable with McIntyre / Ziggler / Guerrero.

Sheamus vs. Rey Mysterio
- Another case of these guys have nothing better to do. Sheamus wins here in a much needed win since loosing a lot.

Handicap Match: Michael Cole, Alex Riley, and Ted Debiase vs. Jerry Lawler and Daniel Bryan
- Cole rejects Lawler's challenge since he is not a Wrestler. The anonymous GM agrees with cole that there shouldn't be a one-on-one WM match since Cole is not a wrestler so orders a handicap match with Lawler pairing up with the person Cole ridiculed for a year.

WWE Tag Team Championship: Santino Marella and Vladamir Kozlov vs. David Otunga and Michael McGuillycutty w/ Mason Ryan (Nexus) vs. Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater (The Corre)
- Just to put the tag titles on the line

Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Kofi Kingston vs. Kane vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Jack Swagger vs. Chavao Guerrero vs. John Morrison vs. R-Truth vs. Mark Henry vs. Evan Bourne
- Morrison wins !!

Diva's Match: Eve Torres, Beth Phoenix, and Natalya vs. Laycool and Awesome Kong(?)
- Will Awesome Kong finally make her debut before WM? If so then this match will be deadly.

I wouldnt say this years wrestlemania is looking crappy, but not as good as past years
before i pick my card i must say am i the only one who thinks they wont be a money in the bank and they will just be a MITB ppv? anyways heres what i expect to see

WWE TITLE
Miz vs Cena
this being one of the matches im not looking forward to , i know its repeated on the forum all the time but i would of preffered a miz vs morrison , but then again were would cena fit in on the card

WORLD TITLE
EDGE VS ADR
more than likely will be just these 2 , but what would really make me look forward to this match is that a third person found there way in somehow, christian would be my biggest hope , but possibly ziggler or maybe even kofi

HHH vs Taker
this would have to be one of the matches that i would look forward to seeing , i was glad to see these 2 on 2-21 , didnt want sting never watched tna soo havent even seen him wrestle in over 10 years. but for this match i think it is a predictable winner being taker

Orton vs Punk
great pair to be going against each other, look forward to this one

King vs Cole
will be entertaining to see king destroy cole if thats how it goes down

Jackson.Barrett vs Big Show Diesel
Personal hope of mine, could see it being advertised as diesels last match, would be great to see this

Tag Titles,
Gabriel Slater Vs either Nexus or r-truth and johnny curtis , that is if curtis wins NXT
Just a short match for tag titles nuff said

U.S TITLE
Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan
Dont know if im the only one that saw on raw that this could be a possibly rivalry to come

Cody Vs mysterio
Maybe mask vs mask or just a grudge match ,however not one i look forward too

kelly and trish vs laycool
Not totally convinced we will see trish but can dream , would look forward to seeing her compete if this is the case

look forward to seeing the rock alot of the night

missed a few big superstars, kane , morrison, mcintyre, they could fit in somewhere

On a personal level this will be a fascinating Wrestlemania for me because I'm a huge fan of the Miz and this might be where he has his Cena, Orton, Batista moment of Wrestlemania 21 where he finally cements his main-event place.

Also, I still don't know who I'm favouring between CM Punk and Randy Orton because I'm a fan of them and JoMo, hopefully, wins the MITB. Also, Wade Barrett should be there and Daniel Bryan/Sheamus sounds awesome.

Top it all off with The Rock returning and I am definitly ordering this years Wrestlemania.

On a wrestling-fan level I can understand why there might be some worries but I also think this is a strong looking card.

We have the start of "The Miz legacy" possibly and the Rock involved someway

We might see CM Punk/Orton kicking off a long, personal feud which should be a contender for feud of the year if carried out properly.

The MITB is always entertaining and there are alot of contenders this year for the MITB

Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus. Now this will steal the show imo. They both know how to put on a wrestling match, its probably going to be for the United States Championship and hopefully Bryan will get a bit of mic time to improve his promo

Taker v.s. HHH

Taker wins in a match that will be better than what many expected (though definitely won't be Taker/HBK level). HHH's ego may be huge and would love to book himself to end the streak, but with him being groomed by Vince to run the WWE pretty soon, I'm certain he's now well versed of how to set aside one's ego for the better of the business. A 19-0 Taker going into WM28 and going for that nice round 20-0 against Cena, Sting, or whoever, will be headlines and box-office like no other, especially in the oft-chance that it may be Taker's last go with the WWE, so the headline will be: Will he retire undefeated or not?

The Miz v.s John Cena

While I'd prefer Miz winning cleanly to boost his character moving forward, I see boy scout Super Cena winning again. I think The Rock will get involved be it as an enforcer, ref, whatever. If he does referee, there would be tension between all 3, and I see Miz going too far and Rock lays the smack down on him and whether he wanted to or not, helps Cena win. Cena and Rock celebrates together seemingly getting along now and let bygones be bygones. Cena turns around to play to the crowd, Rock gets behind him in his stance, Cena turns around and gets a Rock Bottom and People's Elbow to the delight of the crowd. The seeds of Cena and Rock at WM28 have been planted.

What would be pretty cool is if they have Morrison win mitb, Miz beat Cena, and have Morrison come out and cash in on Miz winning the WWE Title. What better revenge on the Miz than to cash in on him on the biggest stage of all. It puts both men over and shoots the feud between them up to a big time level.

WM 27 card looks like this so far:

WWE Title- The Miz vs John Cena

WHC- Edge vs Alberto Del Rio

The Undertaker vs HHH

Rey Mysterio vs Cody Rhodes

Randy Orton vs CM Punk

Jerry Lawler vs Michael Cole

Rumored matches:

US Title- Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus

Trish and Kelly Kelly vs Laycool

Corre vs New Nexus

Money in the Bank

Honestly at this point, Vince should just face the music that he will not get 1 million buys and might receive the lowest WM ppv buys in years. He should just get the young guys over here and prepare for Summerslam. He can still get 1 million buys on a ppv this year but it would have to be Summerslam. WM is not going to be it with such a weak card and weak buildups on most of the matches except Orton/Punk and Lawler/Cole.
