Living Colour to finally play CM Punk into Mania this Sunday

IDK why you say finally. Hes only had one other Mania with it as a theme. Only reason their playing Sunday is because their coincidentally in New York performing the following night.
 
Half the IWC is crapping all over Diddy for wasting everybody's time with music, but all of a sudden, Living Colour performing is okay. You gotta love'em...

Diddy preforming doesn't bother me in the slightest. Their an entertainment company so of course they will get a entertainer/rapper/whatever to preform. I'm more so happy about this because I know it won't be eight minutes and the song is good.
 
I'm okay with it, so long as they hand out ice cream bars at the same time. I always liked the song when it first came out way back when so it's pretty cool it made it's way to the WWE as a theme song (plus it just seems to fit).

I mean, they will play for a few minutes and then the Undertaker will make his long...very long...entrance.
 
I don't mind a bit with the whole idea of music at WrestleMania, don't get me wrong. And what songs will Combs play anyway? I thought it was only Coming Home, since it's the theme song for the PPV.

But the 'cause it's the same, Living Colour are cutting some precious time for the match. WWE doesn't understand a bit - by: IWC moron.

Precious time?? A whole 2 minutes?? Cult of personality would be played even if Living Colour weren't there to play it live so it's not wasting time you numpty.
 
I really hope UT and Punk close the show. It would justify my belief that the streak is more important than the title and makes me think a bit more that Punk will win. Between closing the go-home Raw and now a live musical act this makes me think it is a tiny bit more likely they will go on last.

So I guess I should just be more ready to be more disappointed.

Yeah, but not the entire song that has 5 minutes... And it will probably be extended, since CM Punk is probably going to enter a little bit after and stuff like that. Geez, who the hell cares? Good for Punk, hope he gets an Emmy for his performance at WrestleMania... Diddy is the same crap, who cares he's taking 5 minutes give it or take it? Fuck, no patience for that kind of crap.
 
The difference is Diddy has nothing to do with anything, & is gonna be playing a melody of shit, randomly thrown in the middle of a show. Living Colour is playing one song that happens to be an entrance theme for a wrestler whom has a fairly big match on the card. If Diddy's performance was for a wrestlers entrance & actually served a purpose other than to give everybody 15 mins. to take a shit & restock on snacks, I would have no problem with it whatsoever.
 
I just wished I'd commented before this became a referendum on which musical performances are warranted and which aren't.

I look forward to Living Colour playing CM Punk to the ring.
 
The music isn't a bad thing at all. It throws away the stupid matches that tend to end up on the card and gives the fans a chance to regroup in between big matches. Shield's match, The Streak, Lesnar/Helmsley, and Cena vs Rock will all have the fans so into it and you can only put so much filler in between each match that a musical number and attendance announcement and the backstage skits are really needed.
 
Off the top of your head, name another Living Colour song...

Also, won't hey get Punk a pop?
